1 Reborn as Uzumaki Naruto

"Naruto, I apologize for the circumstances you were born into. Fear not, for your mother will protect you, and your father will stand by your side."

A soothing voice roused a certain awareness.

He slowly opened his eyes, and what met his gaze left him bewildered.

The first thing he noticed was an unfamiliar room with an odd ceiling, strange walls, and an extraordinary, beautiful woman beside him.

Hold on, she was towering over him.

Suddenly, he realized that, for some inexplicable reason, the woman before him appeared colossal in his eyes, almost like a giant.

"Huh? Naruto? Wait, do I know her? Isn't this Kushina?"

He found himself stunned once more, intending to exclaim, but what came out was a bewildered "Wow."

For some mysterious reason, an unfamiliar soul had transmigrated into this world, the Narutoverse.

Furthermore, this soul realized it had not just crossed over into the life of Naruto, but it had arrived at the time of the Nine Tails' rampage.

The towering woman before him was none other than Naruto's mother, Uzumaki Kushina. Yet, she bore a hidden identity as the Jinchūriki of the Nine Tails, entrusted with the village's most formidable power.

Unlike male Jinchūriki, female hosts had a critical vulnerability. When a female Jinchūriki gave birth, the seal binding the tailed beast within her weakened.

Although Kushina hailed from the Uzumaki clan, renowned for their sealing techniques, there were limits to how many safeguards they could employ. A masked man had breached the Nine Tails' seal during her childbirth, unleashing chaos upon Konoha Village.

The current Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato, Naruto's father, was now contending with this sudden adversary.

What Minato remained oblivious to was that the masked man was none other than his former pupil, Uchiha Obito.

Obito had once been Kushina's beloved surrogate sibling, cared for as if he were her own. She had expressed numerous times her desire for her child to grow up like Obito.

However, Kushina could never have foreseen that the person responsible for the impending catastrophe, one that could spell the ruin of their family, was the very child she had cherished.

It all stemmed from the never-ending Third Ninja War. Following the death of a girl named Rin Nohara, Obito harbored a deep-seated hatred for this world marred by conflict and animosity. His aspiration was to escape this reality or craft a new one devoid of wars, a world where Rin could exist in peace.

Thus, Obito initiated a dark transformation, forsaking everything he had once held dear, even his mentors and surrogate mother, sparing no one in his ruthless quest.

Now, Naruto's thoughts were racing, swiftly piecing together the current predicament based on the knowledge gleaned from past events. He possessed foreknowledge of what lay ahead.

When the Nine Tails was unsealed, it was an irrevocable death sentence for Kushina.

Once a Jinchūriki lost their tailed beast, their life was forfeit, even if they wielded power surpassing the Sage of Six Paths.

Kushina, descended from the Uzumaki clan, a lineage tracing back to the Sage of Six Paths, could only delay her inevitable demise.

But this posed a dire consequence for Konoha Village. The Third Ninja World War still raged on, and news of Kushina's fate, if it spread to other villages, could reignite the flames of war.

Hence, Jinchūriki had to exist.

Moreover, to thwart the masked man and avert a looming catastrophe, Namikaze Minato, both as Hokage and a father, would place his trust in his own child.

After all, the Nine Tails was not only a power exceeding all expectations but also the mightiest among the tailed beasts, a game-changing advantage.

Yet, Naruto cared not for the potential hatred and fear he would endure. Armed with plot knowledge and a profound understanding of the Nine Tails' significance, he was unwavering.

If he could harness this power skillfully, it would rival the might of the Sage of Six Paths.

After all, when the Sage of Six Paths divided the Ten Tails, the Divine Tree, into nine tailed beasts, the One-Tail to the Seven-Tails each inherited a portion of the Divine Tree's chakra, with the Eight-Tails receiving its own unique share. As for the Nine Tails, it likely possessed a staggering 80% of the chakra.

However, what baffled Naruto most was the inexplicable nature of his transmigration. He recalled merely being at home, seemingly asleep, before suddenly awakening in the role of Naruto. This scenario would leave most people astounded, wouldn't it?

"Is this a dream?" Naruto pondered.

He realized he still couldn't speak, nor did he understand Japanese.

Strangely, though, he seemed to comprehend Kushina's earlier words. Was it an ability unique to transmigrators? Or perhaps it was due to the familial bond, the blood connection that allowed him to grasp Kushina's intent.

Before he could delve deeper into these thoughts, a handsome figure materialized before the bed with a faint "huh."

With his short blond hair, imperial attire, and the title "Fourth Hokage" emblazoned on his back, it was none other than Namikaze Minato, Naruto's father.

"The Flying Thunder God technique," Naruto exclaimed excitedly in his mind. This technique was not only impressive but also astonishingly fast. Setting coordinates in advance allowed for instantaneous movement, akin to teleportation.

At that moment, Namikaze Minato stood before Kushina and her son, without the need for explanations. He tenderly embraced his wife and child.

Trusting her husband implicitly, Kushina offered no resistance, allowing him to whisk her and their son away in an instant.

When Naruto took in his surroundings once more, they found themselves in the midst of a desolate wilderness. What might have once been a forest had been transformed into a wasteland by an unknown force, leaving behind a barren expanse.

Not far away, a colossal creature loomed—a beast towering tens of meters high, a colossal fox with nine tails: the Nine Tails.

"Kushina, I need your assistance," Minato implored.

There was no need for Minato to explain further. The unspoken understanding between husband and wife prevailed. Exhausting her remaining strength, Kushina summoned numerous chakra chains from her back, swiftly ensnaring the Nine Tails and creating a barrier around them, preventing both outsiders from intervening and the Nine Tails from escaping.

The time had come to confront the Nine Tails.
