12 12 - Artemis

Artemis, also known as Diana, the Goddess of the Moon.

But for Apollo, Artemis was not just the Goddess of the Moon, but his sister!

Artemis looked to be only 16 years old, she had short hair cut to shoulder length, her hair color was an almost white gray.

Her eyes were golden just like his, and when she uses Divine Power it seems like it glows.

Because of the long lifespan of the Gods, it is extremely difficult for a couple to have a child, even more difficult to have more than one child. To the point that despite the prejudice that Gods have with mortal knowledge, the relationship between a God and a Mortal is not uncommon.

But unlike children of a couple of gods, who will also be born as a God, children between Gods and mortals will be born only as a Demi-God, who will need to practice a lot to one day become a real God.

Apollo and Artemis are twin brothers, children of a couple of Gods, the probability of this happening is minuscule, so much so that they are the only twins to be born in the last thousands of years.

Therefore, the relationship between the two is very close, to the point that they have such a high tactical understanding that they often don't even need to use words to communicate.

Today Artemis felt different. Usually when she sees Apollo's blond hair, even from a distance, she can feel a sense of euphoria coming from him.

This was due to her brother's personality, who was always very lively and frivolous, which, as much as it displeased Artemis a little, was not something that made her dislike her brother.

But today it felt different. Artemis no longer felt the euphoria caused by Apollo, instead she only felt calm, peace and tranquility.

As the Goddess of the Moon, Artemis was always very calm and collected, while Apollo was the opposite, being euphoric and excited. Feeling the peace radiating from her brother made Artemis confused if this was really Apollo.

But seeing the fond smile on his face, Artemis was sure this was her brother. What happened to him to change so much?

"What happened to you?" Artemis asked in confusion as she sat down in the chair next to Apollo.

Apollo's brain was working at 300%, he just didn't consume divine power to think faster because Artemis would see his golden eyes shining and would be even more suspicious.

Fortunately, the old Apollo's feeling of affection and care was still here, and Apollo also felt that this was his precious younger sister (even though they were twins, Apollo was born first), that he should cherish and protect forever.

In a split second, Apollo thought of a satisfying answer. "I've already used up my God Seed."

Artemis was shocked when she heard this. Even a bit of Divine Power was leaking out of the girl as her eyes started to glow and the ends of her hair started to float in the air.

"You are crazy?" She got worried.

Apollo didn't answer her question, but made another statement with a calm smile. "I achieved."

Artemis, who was almost freaking out with worry, froze in place. As her hair slowly came down and her eyes stopped shining little by little, she couldn't help but break out into a big smile.

"Congratulations Apollo!" She said excitedly as she hugged Apollo tightly.

In those few seconds she felt a rollercoaster of emotions.

Knowing that Apollo had used his God Seed made her extremely worried, as they received the God Seed just a few days ago, while she was still researching the best small worlds for her to enter, Apollo who was always carefree and never studied. much said that using his nearly made Artemis's heart stop.

With Apollo's little knowledge of small worlds, the probability of being able to find a suitable small world was slim, and if he wasted the God Seed he would have to wait another 10 years before receiving another one from the University.

As much as they had a lifespan of 1000 years, for young people like them who are not even 50 years old, 10 years is still a long time.

Luckily Apollo said he made it, meaning he can confidently say that he is now a true God!

"Do you already have any believers?" Artemis asked excitedly.

Apollo smiled and replied. "I already have three."

"That's great!" Artemis was truly happy for her brother, she knew how difficult it was to get believers, how much Divine Power had to be spent in order to successfully convince mortals of the power of God, and Apollo already had three believers, even if he only received a few points of Power Divine per month, after a year that could be tens, if not hundreds of Divine Power Points!

Apollo didn't know what Artemis was thinking, but if she knew that he was already getting 2 divine Power Points a day, Artemis would go crazy!

Seeing the sincere happiness on his sister's face and remembering that his sister is a Moon Goddess, Apollo soon thought that in the future he could ask her for help to make the Light Web available 24 hours a day!

After the initial happiness, Artemis looked at the calm and refined smile on Apollo's face and asked a little confused. "Why are you so different?"

Apollo soon understood what she meant when he thought about how the previous Apollo acted, and replied. "Once I entered the small world and saw what life was like for some mortals, I realized how childish I was in some matters."

Artemis was a little taken aback by this answer. She didn't expect that her brother who was so fond of music, wine and parties would suddenly mature so much after seeing the lives of mortals.

Though this was a bit sudden for her, Artemis was even happier with her brother's change.

She didn't like that old trait of his, and seeing him change for the better made Artemis very excited.

"And what are you doing here?" Apollo asked curiously.

Although Artemis was very disciplined, she was also never much of a fan of coming to the library, always preferring to stay outside, hunting some animals for fun.

"I'm doing research on the elves, I intend to use my God Seed to open up an elven world." Artemis said with a little embarrassment.

Thinking of his sister's divinity, Apollo had to nod. As the Goddess of the Moon and the Hunt, even though elves are vegetarians, that race's archery is like a natural gift.

Ancient Apollo also holding the Archery priesthood once considered using the God Seed to find a world of elves, but being too lazy to research it and knowing how difficult it was to get elven believers, he decided against it.

Seeing his sister so determined to get an Elf world, Apollo nodded and said. "If you need my help at any time you can call me, even if I were in my own little world."

Despite trusting her brother since birth, Artemis felt that after this change her brother was even more trustworthy than before.

While before Apollo gave her confidence that if someone did something to her, he would fight with the person, now it seems that this new Apollo is like a big shield, which won't even let anyone touch her if she needs to.

"Thanks." Artemis replied with a smile.
