11 Kekkei Genkai
Today was an unexpected holiday for Ryuma which he didn't usually get thanks to the overly hectic schedule that he had. Normally on weekdays their team took a single mission every day and underwent training alongside.
On weekends he had to work in Konoha Hospital and visit Yuno's mother to learn fuinjutsu. Though everything was way too much for him with work one after another but Ryuma didn't take it as a bad sign he knew he had to be at a high level before the Konoha crush happened.
Although he can easily survive the whole incident even if it happens right now, his plan is something else, and for that to be accomplished he has to prepare thoroughly.
During the time he spent in Konoha hospital his job was to treat minor injuries of patients. Unlike his expectations, he didn't learn mystical palm or any medical ninjutsu till now.
Even though he far excelled in treating minor injuries that don't require chakra, he got the feeling that those medic-nin didn't want to let go of him this early and was just delaying the whole process.
Unlike medical ninjutsu, in fuinjutsu training his pace was very fast. He was already in the middle of intermediate-level fuinjutsu and even attempted two high-level one techniques.
However, he can only learn up to the intermediate level before he reaches the chunin rank. Thus Ryuma was expecting his fuinjutsu training to end early.
Since Hayate unexpectedly gave the team a holiday just to meet his girlfriend. The whole team decided to enjoy the afternoon lunch together which Ryuma also agreed after all their meeting place was none other than yakiniq which had become one of Ryuma's favorite places after going there many times with the team.
Ryuma focused his whole morning time on mastering wind chakra control. For some time now Ryuma wanted to create a jutsu that he watched many times in other fictional stories but required wind as the base. It was already close to a month since he began his wind Chakra control training, however, unlike lightning, this was immensely hard for Ryuma but he didn't let it go and continued to persist.
In the afternoon Ryuma wore his white jacket which was not buttoned up and was showing the black t-shirt with an oval neck underneath it which was going perfectly well with the black pants and sandals. To match his attire Ryuma used black cloth for the konoha headband alongside his gloves.
Ryuma closed the door and went straight for the yakiniq. Though the sun was high above the head, the whole atmosphere was cool and was not that hot, thanks to the cool breeze coming from the rivers covering the Konohagakure.
Ryuma soon reached the place and sat on the seat that they booked one day earlier for today. Because both Yuno and Hana didn't reach the place Ryuma was 10 minutes early from the supposed meeting time.
He decided to put his time into practicing his wind chakra control. Ryuma held a stone in the palm of both of his hands and used his wind Chakra to turn it into sand. He was already above the level of leaf-cutting and finding a stream to stop with wind chakra was not that much convenient so Ryuma found this method.
At all times except when he was asleep Ryuma always maintained his 9 shadow clones and all of them did different things to boost his overall growth. Although he can create 100+ shadow clones with no sweat due to his massive Chakra pool because of huge information pumped up in the brain when shadow clones dismiss. Thus Ryuma only makes 9 shadow clones so that the huge information pumping in his brain will not affect him.

Soon both Hana and Yuno reach the restaurant together. Although they were an hour late, Ryuma didn't care much. After all three of them had their afternoon lunches they decided to take a stroll to digest their foods while conversing about different topics.
" Guys I think I had a Kekkei genkai " Yuno spoke out of the topic Which caught both Hana and Ryuma's attention.
" It's not funny Yuno, you should try some other jokes " Hana spoke sarcastically with an easygoing face.
However, Ryuma remained silent. He watched Yuno's facial expressions and said, "Since when ?"
" You… believed me ?" Yuno looked at Ryuma with a shocked expression on his face which shows he didn't expect this outcome.
" Yup… after all I am an omnipotent god who watches over all human beings " Ryuma gave a funny reply which formed a little on both Hana and Yuno's faces.
" Well, I am not joking guys, I think I really got a Kekkei Genkai. Let's go to the training area and let me show you, " Yuno said.
In the training ground which was near the yakiniq and in the middle of konoha where usually children who are yet to become genin practice, Yuno showed them his Kekkei genkai. With releasing a deep breath Yuno's hand turned into a reddish brown color and upon touching the ground the small around his legs got changed into the same texture as its hands were showing. With a smile on his face, he spoke,
"How was it ?"
"You got a kekkei genkai… but how?? Isn't kekkei genkai mostly dependent on bloodline? " Hana spoke with a mixture of confusion and surprise in her face.
" I think it's a whole new type of kekkei Genkai, the first of itself after all, I never heard of a kekkei Genkai of this type even in the information that covers other villages," Ryuma spoke.
" Well, a special person like me deserves special things. Ha..Ha..Ha.. " Yuno replied.
" Shut up Yuno and let's check the durability of this dirty-looking rock " Ryuma spoke while covering his right hand in purple lightning.
" Hehehe… let me show you how strong my dirt is" Yuno spoke as he formed hand signs for the stone wall, however unlike a normal stone wall a reddish brown wall was created.
" So you already got familiar with your kekkei Genkai " Ryuma replied as he smashed his right hand covered in purple lightning into the wall. Though Ryuma didn't go to maximum power with his purple lightning and only used half of his innate strength, the results were quite shocking for him. The wall took all of the damage and didn't even show any cracks. Ryuma roughly got the idea of which type of kekkei Genkai Yuno had.
" See… I told you this muddy wall is quite sturdy" Yuno spoke with a smile on his face seeing his undamaged wall.
" Oh, is it? Let me level up the power a little bit and show you how much my purple lightning has advanced" Ryuma replied with a smirk on his face and increased the power of purple lightning on his right hand. Soon the lightning got into brighter shades of purple and became immensely condensed to the point that the air around Ryuma's hand got ionized and started glowing in an electric blue color.
With Ryuma's attack this time the wall got pierced like a mud wall which shocked both Hana and Yuno. However, Yuno was the one who was more shocked after all he knew how tough the wall he created was.
"Damn, You gloomy genius!!! How much did you advance your move? It was not even like normal lightning now, " Yuno said.
" Thanks for the praise my best friend but I don't like the name that you used bastard. Well, moving to a different topic, can you provide details of your kekkei Genkai ?" Ryuma replied.
" Well, I am not that sure about the kekkei Genkai myself but normally I can harden my skin and can use it as an earth release technique " Yuno replied.
"Isn't it more like you can change the composition of your skin and other things to make them strong ?" Hana represents her theory.
" Yup, I was also thought of like this because I can control the hardness of my skin and can turn it too weak or strong " Yuno replied.
" What are the things where you can apply your kekkei Genkai? " Ryuma asked.
" Except for my own body, I cannot apply my kekkei Genkai anywhere else, " Yuno replied.
After contemplating something for a few minutes Ryuma spoke, " I think I have guessed what your kekkei Genkai roughly is "
Yuno and Hana both focused their attention on Ryuma's explanation as he started telling the results he came up with after understanding Yuno's kekkei Genkai.
" I think your kekkei Genkai is 'Carbon release' which somehow manages carbon. It was elements that we read about in our academy which are present mostly everywhere in the world. So in theory, if you manage to pull a stick out of carbon metal from the air then it will give my hypothesis a lot more credibility. "
" Let's try it right away and check your theory Ryuma " Yuno replied and tried to form something out of thin air. In the beginning, nothing happened but both Hana and Ryuma remained silent as Yuno was forcing his all might and imagination. But after a few minutes a small cube with dimensions no more than 2 cm formed and fell on the ground.
Yuno who gave it all suddenly staggered on his legs and was about to fall but Ryuma held him. It was clearly due to low chakra that Yuno was about to lose consciousness and the small dark reddish brown color cube was proof of it. Ryuma told Yuno to sit in a meditative position and do breathing techniques that he knew from his previous life.
It was something Ryuma discovered during his academy days while training. It boosted the speed of chakra pool refilling, though Ryuma didn't need this anymore nowadays because of his huge chakra pool which was soon gonna rival the chakra pools of jinchuriki. But for Hana and Yuno this was nothing less than a huge discovery.
" What the hell was that Ryuma? In a few minutes, I gained 10% of my whole chakra back. Is this some type of new jutsu? Yuno said and Hana listened to the conversation attentively.
Meanwhile, who just noticed the fact laughed a weird laugh and said, " AHH, that was something I came up with recently. It boosts the chakra recovery rate by huge numbers and it will surely improve when you get more adapted to breathing techniques. I am very close to perfect in the technique and I can easily recover 10% of my chakra in 5 minutes however the more chakra you recover the slower the process becomes to the point that it takes me more than a few hours to just recover the last 5% of my chakra."
" Still isn't it a huge discovery after all it's many times faster than the normal chakra rate and it will give a huge edge during long battles. But …. Why did you tell us that you should have kept it a secret or used it as a clan-based technique? Hana asked with a questioning heart.
" Yeah I could have done that but I don't think its value lies there. As you said it will give us an edge during a long fight and because we are a team it is presumably that we three will fight that battle together so isn't better for me to teach you this rather than hiding it away " Ryuma replied.
" You're too much of a good person if not for this dumbass I would have fallen for you right there," Hana said with a laugh which shocked Ryuma after all it was rare for Hana to laugh. Meanwhile, Yuno who was still meditating suddenly started his fake crying which easily got ignored by Hana.
" Now focusing back, I think my hypothesis is majorly correct but I just want to try one more thing out " Ryuma spoke and told Yuno to make the small cube on his hand harder. Yuno who had already recovered his chakra somewhat gave it a try and just like the previous try he struggled quite a lot and finally accomplished the task but once again ran out of chakra. The cube now was no longer reddish brown but was bright red. Ryuma didn't know the reason behind the color change but when he crushed the cube with his fingers covered in purple lightning the increased strength answered.
" I think Yuno with enough chakra and control over your kekkei Genkai you can easily form close to an indestructible body and wall " Hana spoke.
" I agree Hana and I think you should probably read more about carbon and it will probably give you many ideas on how to use your kekkei Genkai effectively," Ryuma said.
" Thanks a lot to both of you, this helped me a lot ". Yuno replied with a bright smile on his face.
