4 Aftermath and outcomes
In the Hokage mansion, Hiruzen heard all of the things that Itachi had conveyed to him. After hearing the reason why Itachi did these things, Hiruzen became frustrated. He could have punished Itachi for what he had done but he knew it would not give justice to what Itachi had done for the village. After hearing what Itachi had decided for the future, Hiruzen himself was baffled by the 13-year boy's judgment. Itachi was ready to brand himself as a traitor which was not anything anyone can do. His sacrifices were so great that there no were none who could compare him.
Hiruzen knew it was all his fault due to him taking the matter of Uchiha's lightly and due to him allowing Itachi to join root, it all came to this. Today what Danzo did was no longer any good for Konoha and now Hiruzen no longer spared him.
He decided to cancel all his authority and put him under house arrest. Even though it was a little soft punishment, he knew the other two elders who used to be his comrades will surely help his childhood friend Danzo and will not allow him to give any cruel punishment.
Hiruzen no longer wanted this Hokage seat anymore. He knew that he was the worst among all the Hokage that led Konoha till now. But he cannot abandon his duty and his village now. He had to raise the next successor for this seat and until then he had to hold this hat and do what was best for the village.
Hiruzen looked at Itachi and said, "Forgive me for letting you carry this hard burden by yourself. Right now I can only promise you the safety of Sasuke.....
the gates of Konoha will always be open for you and I will hold off the investigation until you reach the border of the fire nation. Lastly, I am sorry for what my incompetence caused to you"
"No lord Hokage-sama, you shouldn't ask for forgiveness. It was me who did everything....
I should take my leave now" At the end of the conversation Itachi was dispersed into many crows.
At the moment of Itachi's departure, Hiruzen noticed the flame raging toward the direction where Uchiha compounds were situated. Hiruzen's brain worked immediately and he called his personal anbu bodyguards. In seconds 6 anbu wearing different animal masks came and bowed in front of him.
Hiruzen looked at them and said coldly, "One of you will notify the commander in chief of Anbu and the other will go towards Uchiha compounds and evacuate anyone who survived. Do not let root members pick anyone and anything under any circumstances".
Hiruzen was in no good mood; he immediately used body flicker and moved towards the place where his childhood friend would be, 'Uchiha clan compounds'.

On the other hand in the Uchiha clan compounds, Danzo was in shock, and little by little his temper was losing. The moment he reached here he saw the half of Uchiha compounds on fire with fire raging towards the houses of all the active members of Uchiha with the Power of sharingan eyes. Danzo guessed that it was done intentionally so that he wasn't able to get sharingan.
Danzo's face twitched with anger. At that moment two root members came in front of him with their report,
"Danzo-sama, except Uchiha Sasuke, Itachi's younger brother, and Hibana Ryuma, a civilian, no other survivors were found. But after counting the body counts don't match the numbers and most of the bodies just disappeared which included almost all of the Uchiha police force members. Also due to the fire almost half of the bodies are already caught on fire."
Hearing the report Danzo's already twisted face became more twisted. It happened as he hypothesized looking at the situation Danzo realized that Itachi knew what he wanted to get from all these Uchiha's bodies. Controlling his anger Danzo spoke, "Leave that civilian as it is and pick up Uchiha Sasuke".
The moment Danzo completed his sentence he felt a shiver on his back and moved his face sideways to look at the second root member. At that moment strong wind blew igniting the already existing flames by a notch. Danzo looked at the second root member covered in the hood and wearing a cat mask but from the eyehole two mangekyou sharingan looking at him.
"If you so much so even touch Sasuke Uchiha then I will reveal every little bit of information of what you and Konoha are doing to other enemy nations," Itachi said and his clone dispersed in many crows.
" Damn these Uchihas..." Danzo spoke.

It's been 5 days since the Uchiha massacre incident happened. Due to the atrocity of the incident almost all of the Konoha people were left in shock. After all, the prodigy of one of the most respected and powerful clans just massacred his whole clan by himself at the mere age of 13. All of the people in Konoha felt pity for the last surviving member of the Uchiha family.
But on the other hand, Danzo's mood was sore throughout the five days. After collecting all of the sharingan he was able to collect he was only able to get five which was far less than he imagined. He
Had already made the deal with Orochimaru and gave him a copy of a scroll of impure world reincarnation jutsu in return for the hand grafted with Hashirama cells.
Now that he can't do anything more about this matter and was already under house arrest, he decided this was the right time to undergo the surgery. His sore mood suddenly got lifted as he called the root member and told him to prepare for the surgery.

In the Hokage office, Hiruzen was reading the report of the incident that happened 5 days ago. Even though 5 days had passed, Hiruzen's mood was nowhere near good. With many bad things happening one after another, he was one of the people who took the blunt effect of that.
He lost his successor Hokage and many other capable Ninjas on the night of nine tails incident due to which they had to sacrifice Hyuga Hizashi to stop the accelerating tension between Kumogakure and Konohagakure and now with Uchiha's one of the strongest, most prestigious, and renowned clan of Konoha being wiped out he had to be on alert from other nations.
Even on a personal level, he had suffered far too many losses if not for the fact that he was soon going to become a grandfather he might have lost himself.
After reading the report which confirmed that Uchiha Sasuke was all healthy and already continued his academy. Even though he felt bad for that child, he can't do anything about it.
He was in between the pile of work so how can he have the leverage to go and check others? His youngest son has already become rebellious and went to become one of the twelve guardian ninjas due to this and on top of things happening one after another, he didn't even get the time to go and look out for Naruto.
" ...*Sigh*..." A sigh escaped from Hiruzen's mouth as he put his cigar aside. After reading the complete report he was a little happy about the fact that they were able to save one more person from the Uchiha incident.
Hiruzen ordered his personal anbu bodyguard member who was none other than his oldest son to go and fetch the record of the child that survived the incident alongside Uchiha Sasuke.
As he read through the information provided he was happy that the child wasn't a pure-blooded Uchiha and didn't carry the Uchiha name either. Because if not then he would also have to go through what young Sasuke was going through.
After finding out that Ryuma was just 2 years away from graduation Hiruzen decided to let the child inherit his parent's inheritance alongside giving him his own house. If Hiruzen had followed the Konohagakure procedure then the child probably would have ended up in an orphanage and all his property would have gone to Konoha village. But after doing so many bad things Hiruzen just wanted to do a few good things that he can do for the child who himself was suffering from the loss of his parents due to the incident.
Closing the report and putting that inside the file which already contains many reports like this. Hiruzen closed the file alongside which the incident of the Uchiha massacre also got concluded.
Hiruzen moved toward the window of his office through which the whole Konoha can be seen.
Hiruzen saw the parts of Konoha that had been burnt being repaired and people shifting their homes towards the more vacant spaces to fill the void that that incident had left.
Looking at all the changes happening Hiruzen knew that the incident had already ended, but Konoha had to face the consequences of this which could either be good or bad.

In one of Konoha's hospital rooms, a child was trying to walk properly. His bed was in a disheveled state and his clothes were already wet due to sweat. The boy in question was none other than Ryuma himself.
On the night of the incident before falling unconscious Ryuma used his mangekyou sharingan ability 'heavenly dream' on himself due to which he was having a problem walking right now. Even though it was not directly due to the ability, it was kinda related to his ability.
'Heavenly dreams' was the mangekyou sharingan ability of his right eye which according to him was one of the broken abilities in all of Naruto verse as far as he knew the story.
This ability gave him access to the 'dream dimension' which can be accessed by non-living things pretty easily in comparison to living things. It can be used to store any non-living things in the dimensions with the touch of his hand alongside making eye contact with the object while his mangekyou sharingan is active.
However living things cannot be stored in dream dimensions, it can only send the consciousness of living things inside the dream dimensions. This results in said living being falling unconscious or in a sleep-like state including Ryuma himself that's why he fell unconscious when he used it on himself.
Similar to non-living things, all living things could be sent to dream dimensions with the point of eye contact alongside the touch of Ryuma's body. Upon sending someone to dream dimensions that said person would simply get unconscious for the next 1 hour which made this ability look very overpowered but it wasn't.
This wasn't the thing that made this ability broken, after all, anyone with very good chakra control and genjutsu resistance can break through this easily. On top of that any memories of dream dimensions will not be remembered by anyone except the Ryuma himself and for others it will be like those dreams that they forgot after the morning kicks in.
What truly made this ability broken was the things that Ryuma can do inside the dream dimensions. Just like the name suggests, similar to his dreams Ryuma can do anything inside the 'dream dimensions' but within the confines of reality. It implies that Ryuma can create anything he imagined but only those existing in real life will get created.
But after all the restriction comes to the main power. The 'heavenly dream' ability allowed Ryuma to make any changes happen in dream dimensions to either living or no living things exist in real life too within the confines of reality and in exception to those he had already tempered with once. In nomads terms, it gave Ryuma reality manipulation power in much heavier confined rules and cool down.
After using the ability he loses the power to send living things in the dream dimensions in between the cool-down period. Because it took far less chakra to send non-living things into different dimensions thus even in the cool-down period he can send non-living things in and out of dream dimensions in exchange for huge chakra consumption.
The moment Ryuma used this ability on himself it took far less chakra and that's why he was able to pull it off after using a large-scale purple lightning attack. The moment Ryuma entered 'dream dimensions', he saw a white room with an unknown ending and inside this room, Ryuma saw the arm made up of hashirama cells floating up in the air.
Knowing that he only had 7 days inside this world which is equivalent to the 1-hour time limit outside. Ryuma immediately took action and created equipment that he might need during the research of the cells of Hashirama and it got created implying that the medical technologies of this world are either similar or far surpassed his previous world. After creating every tool he might need he created 3 shadow clones that were his limit similar to the real world and started his research.

The seven days for Ryuma were very important due to two reasons: firstly he was able to cope with his trauma by merging himself with work which made his memories of old life much more real and not just a dream that he saw. Secondly, he knew the 'ten years' cool down period of the ability and the damage that this use will cause to his eyes alongside the fact that he can only use this power on himself only once.
Ryuma considered himself lucky that he got Hashirama Cells this early. He wouldn't have used this ability until he thought it was the right time or he got the hand on Hashirama Cells just like now. Because Hashirama Cells have naturally high regeneration power which heals damage done by mangekyou sharingan to the eyes thus it can help to reduce the cooldown time and Stop users from going blind due to the usage of mangekyou sharingan.
