Training lesson 2

After doing all the training with Tobirama, Naruto went out to go train with Hashirama. This lesson would be about chakra control, because of Naruto's large amount of chakra he cannot control it well.

Right now Naruto and Hashirama were in a forest type area near a lake that Naruto used to fish at. They had been walking for a while but now Hashirama had stopped and turned to Naruto. "This is where we will be working on chakra control."

Naruto nodded in understanding. "Because of your large amount of chakra I have asked lord fourth to make some chakra suppressing seals to lower your chakra amount." he said as he pulled out tons of seals, "put them on."

Not very long later Naruto was covered in tons of seals but even with them, Naruto had quite a bit more chakra than people his age. "Well this should do," said Hashirama handing him some leaves.

"Try to stick as many of these on your body as possible." Naruto retorted, "this is the same boring thing Iruka tells us to do! You're the Hokage, you should be cooler!" Hashirama expected such a response from Naruto, "you are not ready for the cool stuff yet. I'm trying to get you to where you can learn cool stuff, so just work with me."

Naruto didn't like it but did what he said. With all the suppressing seals on Naruto, it was much easier to control his chakra because he was used to such a large amount. On the first try, he stuck 15 leaves on his body, this was only lower than a few people in his class, what an improvement!

He tried again and again and eventually could get 20 on him. It really was amazing to have a Hokage teach you! Hashirama, noticing he was getting better, removed some of the seals and increased Naruto's chakra.

"Try now, we will keep doing this until we can see exactly how much chakra you have control of. Then you will know how much you can use." Naruto nodded his head excitedly, he was happy with his progress.

Hashirama continued to take off seals increasing Naruto's supply even more until his control got bad. After seeing his limit Hashirama told Naruto to stop, Hashirama then placed the seals back. "I will now be teaching you the tree walking exercise, it's simple and very useful but harder to learn than you would think."

"Come on! I already know how to climb a tree, this is stupid!" shouted Naruto as he was about to climb a tree as proof. "I don't mean normally, I mean only using your feet. Using chakra of course!" this interested Naruto, "How?" Hashirama smiled and responded, "put the chakra at the bottom of your feet and use it to stick to a tree."

Hearing this Naruto instantly got started. He put as much chakra as he could at the bottom of his feet, while still wearing the seals, he thought the more chakra you put into it the more you would stick. Oh, how wrong he was.

As soon as he put his foot on the tree the bark snapped creating a huge foot hole in the tree. "Use less chakra, too much will make it break but too little and you won't stick, you have to get it right." Naruto took a deep breath and started again.

He put his foot on the tree and lifted his other foot up and on the tree, he was standing on the tree but not for long. He soon slipped and fell on his face. "Ow! That hurt! This is hard!" Naruto shouted and complained, Hashirama started laughing, it was funny watching somebody so helpless and useless.

He continued training and eventually got it down in a few hours. He would still mess up occasionally but that would be fixed soon and wouldn't require much work to help complete. Overall Hashirama was ok with how things turned out for this lesson.

After training in chakra control with Hashirama it was time to do some basic sealing with Minato, Naruto knew nothing about sealing so he didn't know where to start asking questions, was there even any cool seals? Naruto wondered.

Minato told him to sit down and grab a piece of paper, Naruto did so. "Because sealing requires very good chakra control you won't be making any seals right now but instead learning how to write basic things like the writing for the seals and such. Because they need to be very exact it would be helpful to also have your clones work on this too."

Naruto was not the happiest about learning this but he would do anything to become Hokage so he would just endure. Naruto then created 10 shadow clones and they were all ready to start. "First we will write the basics to around 80 percent of all seals. This is the most useful thing you could know in sealing."

Minato drew the 'base seal' which looked like a circle surrounded by some squiggly lines, but it was much more than that. If you even got the squiggly line wrong by one centimeter it could ruin the whole seal which is why this is the most important part.

All ten clones drew the seal and then stopped, the fourth Hokage looked at them and was surprised, they were pretty good for the first time. 'As expected from my son!' Minato couldn't help but think.

"Not bad, for the first time. We will continue to work on this until I think it's sufficient." The clones did continue to work on it for hours until Naruto's father found it acceptable and told him to move on. The next part was another base seal, it was just less common. This was an x shaped cross with a line in the middle all written in kanji.

This was less difficult so Naruto and his clones got it down much quicker, the experience from last time also helped. Minato noticed it was out of time so he told Naruto to head back to Tobirama for taijutsu training.
