22 Fight!

The people watching the fight quieted down to see what the next battle would be. The names flashed past one by one until it landed on two people. "Will Shino and Tenten please come down so the battle may start." said the proctor.

"Oh I'm up, I will do my best not to disappoint everyone," said Shino in a quiet voice. "You got this Shino, you will do great!" said Hinata in the loudest voice she could, which isn't very loud. "Ha yeah Shino you gonna kick her ass no problem!" shouted Kiba leaning on Shino's shoulder.

"Yes Tenten, show them your amazing youthfulness!" shouted Lee enthusiastically, "Thanks Lee," said Tenten who then walked down in embarrassment from her teammate. After walking down both Shino and Tenten met each other.

"So you also have a loud member huh." said Shino, 'Yeah, but Lee is still a pretty good friend." "Good," responded Shino. "3,2,1, Let the battle begin!" as soon as the battle began Shino threw a punch at Tenten who blocked it.

"Weak!" She said, pulling out 10 shuriken and throwing them at Shino. Shino brought out a swarm of bugs to block the fast-moving shuriken. "Good job, but how about this!" Tenten then pulled out a staff and swung it at Shino.

Although Shino didn't look like it, he was pretty good in taijutsu, he pulled out a kunai and began to block the staff, he also threw a few weak punches in. during the fight so far it looked like Shino would have no chance at winning but Kurenai didn't believe that was the case.

It didn't take long for Tenten to realize that she couldn't beat Shino like this for a while so she used a different plan. Tenten jumped into the air and pulled out her scrolls, however, when she pulled them out there was no paper!

"Silverfish, they are paper eating bugs. Your scrolls are useless," said Shino in a calm tone, instead of giving up Tenten pulled out her staff again and attacked. "My weapons, how dare you!" she shouted angrily.

Shino then had to hold on again until the next bug would work. It didn't take long until Tenten's moves got weaker and slower! "What did you do?" questioned Tenten in pain, "They are dermestids, a flesh-eating beetle. It won't take long until all of your flesh is gone, this battle is over."

Tenten was worried but also didn't want to give up because she knew both Neji and Lee would move on. Before she could answer Gekkou Hayate did, "Because Tenten will soon be unable to battle I now end this battle and announce Shino as the winner!."

Both Kiba and Hinata were very happy. "I knew you could do it Shino!" "Yeah, you kicked her ass!" shouted Kiba. when Shino walked back up Kurenai praised him for his good plan and execution. Shikamaru who was on the side was also impressed with the good plan.

"Quiet everyone, we only have two matches left in the preliminaries and I need to announce something. After the preliminaries are over there will be a 1-month break until the 3rd exam, now that everyone understands that let's move on." The genin were shocked and happy, they didn't know why it was canceled but with the extra time, they could have new techniques!

The screen then flashed once again with names passing and only stopped when two people were up, "Will Kiba and Dosu come down for the battle." up in the stands Kiba yelled, "Yeah it's finally my time to kick some ass!" he said as he walked down confidently

Dosu said nothing and walked down without any worry. "Are you ready to be defeated by the greatest ninja in the leaf!" shouted Kiba arrogantly but again Dosu said nothing. "Why don't you speak to me!" Dosu sighed, "I don't like to talk to weak people." Kiba got angry, "I'll show you weak!" "Yes I know you will" Kiba got even angrier, "That's not what I meant!"

Not wasting any more time the proctor started the battle, Kiba jumped back along with Akamaru and then used their strongest move! "Fang over fang!" the spinning Kiba and Akamaru came flying at Dosu from both sides.

"Take this!" shouted Kiba, Dosu put his arms in the way of the spinning idiots and launched a huge soundwave that threw both of the idiots back into the wall. 'Damn it, again!" Kiba and Akamaru launched fang over fang again and again but never reached Dosu.

Dosu thought about finishing the battle but decided that if he played with his opponent he could show his strength to Orochimaru! "Let's do this Akamaru!" Kiba then gave Akamaru a food pill, Akamaru's skin started to become red and he looked angry!

Akamaru then transformed into another Kiba like a shadow clone, "Beast human clone!" Kiba then launched another fang over fang at Dosu. This time instead of using his sound he grabbed both Kiba and Akamaru and threw them!

Both of them crashed into a wall embarrassing themselves even more. "That's it again! Let's do it Akamaru!" the Akamaru that looked like Kiba attached himself to the real Kiba. "Take this, super fang over even more fang!"

Kiba went way faster than he ever had before along with more power! Dosu saw this and increased his sound output to the max. When the sound and Kiba hit each other a loud booming noise was heard.

Kiba was spinning in mid-air but not moving because of the sound blocking him. Kiba kept pushing and pushing himself but couldn't get past the sound and eventually ran out of steam. After Kiba collapsed he was out of chakra.

"Due to passing out and having no chakra Kiba has lost the match, Dosu is the winner." Naruto was again surprised, had Kiba been this strong? He expected Kiba to be trampled immediately but actually held on for quite a good amount of time.

Gekkou Hayate then announced the final match, "because there are only two people left, will Naruto Uzumaki and Neji Hyuga come down so the battle can start!" Naruto was extremely excited, Neji was supposed to be a genius, maybe he would get a good fight out of this.
