Day Off

After returning home and sleeping he told the Hokage about what had happened during the exams. "Damn Orochimaru, he has always been trouble!" said Minato who was angry. "Besides the point of Orochimaru, the next round of the exams are coming up and you will need to prepare," said Tobirama.

"Out of all the people remaining most of them will be most easily beaten by taijutsu so we should focus on that. Your chakra control is fine so maybe we should expand your water jutsu. Also, we can have you study all the opponents in the exams." said Hashirama as he came up with a plan.

All the other Hokage agreed so they started, first I would go through each person and list what would be most difficult about them and the best way to beat them. I had to write this down on a piece of paper.

Dosu: his strength is his control over sound, this allows him to stop incoming attacks along with making him proficient in taijutsu. The best way to beat him would probably be to use clones to outnumber him and wear him down.

Sakura: She is good in genjutsu but that is about it, her taijutsu is average at best and is no real threat. The best way to beat her would be to quickly beat her in taijutsu before she can cast a genjutsu or if she does cast a genjutsu you could just break out.

Lee: Maybe the strongest person in the whole exams, he is amazing at taijutsu and is trained by Might Guy so he has extreme stamina plus he might know the 8 gates which would be extremely difficult to handle. The best way to win would be something similar to what Ino did but the main focus would be hitting him with one good attack that would finish it.

Gaara: He is another one of the strongest, his sand is a great defense and offensive ability. He is crazy which makes him hard to battle and understand, he will make rash decisions that go against reason. The best way to beat him would be speed, if you are faster than his sand then he cannot win. You could also use water style to weaken the sand.

Shino: He is very strange and has a lot of powerful things about him. His bugs are weird and small so they are hard to detect, he is much better at taijutsu than one would think along with having a little higher than average chakra reserves. Overall he is very balanced and the best way to defeat him would be to send waves of attacks until he is out of chakra.

Shikamaru: Shikamaru is one I definitely don't want to battle not because he is strong but because he is smart, his brain works at such a level that he can come up with 100 step plans in a matter of seconds! The best way to defeat him would be to not let him get distance and attack fast and don't give him time to think.

Sasuke: Sasuke is the one I am probably least afraid of, not because he is weak but that he cannot beat me. Any fire jutsu he has I have water jutsu, he cannot stop my wind, plus I can stop his lightning with my wind. Also I have already fought him countless times.

Tobirama picked up the notes and read them over. They were decently detailed and went over everything he asked Naruto to do. "Not bad, we will try and go over and train you on the ways you think you can win."

After talking a little more with Tobirama, Naruto went to go train with Minato in water style. "I have done a lot of thought into what I should teach you and I think this is the best jutsu I can teach you at the moment.

It is called the water prison jutsu, it can trap almost anyone in the prison and doesn't take much control to master." Naruto was happy with the choice, "Ok, let's get started." it didn't take long until Naruto was able to create the prison.

"That was easy." Minato shook his head, "you are not done yet, first you must learn to actually trap something and make it sturdy enough to take a hit. 2, you need to be able to use it faster and while on the move."

Naruto and his clones began to work on trapping something inside, the main problem was that a constant amount of chakra was needed to be put in at the same time. If you messed up the timing or amount of chakra then it would just fall apart.

Another problem was the size, in order to increase the size you needed to output more chakra but a spike in chakra would make the prison fall apart and not work. And even if you did all that once you trapped somebody you had to make sure they couldn't break out from the inside.

Naruto and his clones were having trouble making the size to chakra ratio correct, he would always have more or less chakra than he needed for the size. 'Damn why is this so hard!" Minato told him to calm down then he explained the problem, "the problem is that you are starting off with a size then adjusting. What you should do is gradually increase the size until it's where you want."

Naruto got the advice and tried it out, he found out it was much easier if he gradually got bigger because he could adjust his chakra level to increase the size, not the other way around. It only took him a few hours until he completed the water prison jutsu, now it was taijutsu training.

Tobnirama had told him that he mainly wanted to focus on speed rather than power because his chakra blades had power that could be combined with speed for a deadly combination. "What you are going to do is put these weights on and run until I say stop, understand?."

Naruto looked down at the weights and they looked to be the same ones Rock Lee wore, "Yeah let's do this." Naruto said in a depressed tone, he hated weights even now, he preferred ninjutsu hell even genjutsu.

As Naruto was running his fifth lap around the village when he heard somebody coming towards him, he looked back and saw a kid with a full green suit on running at him. "Oh god no." soon enough Lee was right next to him.

"Naruto you are using weights like me! What amazing youthfulness! We shall stay youthful forever! We must do 30 laps!" Lee then sped in front of him with what seemed like no effort. Don't get me wrong Naruto like Lee but he still didn't like to lose

Naruto then sped up catching up with Lee, "So you want a race, how youthful!" Naruto and Lee then started running as fast as they could but Naruto's body couldn't keep up with Lee and collapsed on Naruto's 10th lap and Lee stopped at his 70th lap, it seemed Naruto still had a long way to go before he was faster than Lee.

Hey, no VS battle this time but I need help. I think the Hokage should eventually go away, I think it would be better than them being in the story but never doing anything. The only problem is I don't know when or how to do it, if you have any ideas let me know or if you want them to stay tell me.
