"Come on, Uchiha! Let's go!" "if they fight I know the Uchiha kid will easily win!" said the feudal lord watching that match, "I wouldn't be so sure. The stranger from the Sand has a mean look to him." said one of his guards.

The lord laughed, "That's what's great about these exams, the only thing you know for sure is that you never know what will happen, just look at the last fight." he then nodded to a few of his guards in the back signaling them for something.

The crowd continued to chat about the match. "What are you keeping us waiting for?" "Okay, we're here. We paid, let's have the fight!" "Where is the Uchiha!?" "This is taking forever!" "Can we start this sometime this week!"

Even Minato, Hashirama, and Tobirama were wondering where Sasuke was. "Man I really wanted to see this Gaara kid fight!" said Hashirama, "Yeah Naruto said he was pretty good I was also interested," said Tobirama.

Gekkou Hayate didn't know what to do so he looked at the Hokage. Next to the Hokage Jiraiya leaned in, "Sensei, there is still no sign of Sasuke Uchiha or Kakashi Hatake." Hiruzen sighed, "Right then we have no choice. Well just have to proceed. We've kept these people waiting for too long." the Kazekage then had something to say, "Ten more minutes. We can surely give him another 10 minutes. This is what the crowd has been waiting for. It would be cruel to cancel it."

The crowd started booing, "what lord Kazekage says is true, very well, we will wait another 10 minutes before we cancel the match." The Kazekage was waiting for something and Jiraiya could tell. Jiraiya then whispered something, "Something is wrong I suggest you leave, it would be bad if you were in danger."

Hiruzen laughed, "With my old age I'm afraid I am always in danger." Even if he didn't take Jiraiya's advice he was still more on guard. Hiruzen then turned to another Jonin, "Go tell Hayate my decision." "Yes sir!"

He then flickered behind him, "Lord Hokage wants to wait another 10 minutes." he whispered and then left. 'Uchiha special treatment I guess,' he thought to himself. He then took out a clock and started a 10-minute timer.

Sakura in the stands could only pray that Sasuke would get there. The crowd was getting angrier by the second and security didn't know how long until the situation got out of hand. Gaara himself was starting to get mad, he better show up!

Hayate was about to cancel that match before suddenly leaves started spinning rapidly behind him. He turned around to see both Kakashi and Sasuke standing back to back, "Sorry, we're late. You wouldn't believe the traffic."

Gaara ginned, it seemed he would get his battle after all. Seeing Sasuke the crowd started cheering once again. Kakashi walked up to Hayate, "Sorry if we kept you waiting, but, um, how late are we? It's not like Sasuke is disqualified or anything, right?"

"Late as ever but no he is not disqualified, you're lucky." "Good good." Sasuke and Gaara were staring at each other with clear battle intent. "Just make sure this is an interesting fight," said Sasuke.

The Kazekage was extremely happy, 'at last. You arrive!' Gaara then turned around to walk down to the battle area. After walking down he saw two Jonin waiting for him. "You kids think this tournament is about you, but it's really about the people who bet on you, or against you in your case. You see our master has put a lot of money on you to lose," said one of the Jonin

"Get it, that means you got to lose." Gaara looked at them with killer intent, "Move, or die." the Jonin began to laugh so Gaara wasted no more time, his sand crushed their skull into the walls killing them instantly.

After getting on the ground both of them stared each other in the eyes. "Well, here we are, at last, the rules are the same as in the preliminaries. The match continues until we think it is necessary to end it, and by we I mean me."

Gaara began to laugh while Sasuke simply stared at him. Kakashi finally met up with Guy, "So, how did Naruto vs Lee go?" Guy began to get excited, "Since when did your student learn the Rasengan! But it still wasn't enough to beat my Lee, maybe our eternal rivalry will continue on to the next generation!"

Kakashi was shocked, 'how did Jiraiya teach him the Rasengan in such a short time!' "If he knew the Rasengan, how did he lose?" Kakashi knew how powerful the Rasengan was, his sensei was the one who created it after all.

"Well you see, I taught Lee to open the fourth gate." Kakashi's eyes went wide, "The fourth gate! Guy what are you thinking, that could kill him!" Guy only laughed, "No matter the gate it can never beat youth!" Kakashi sighed, "Then why is there a gate of death?" Guy laughed even harder, "Youth does not live in one's body but their soul, youth is forever!"

Kakashi was surprised, Guy's stupidity was actually a little inspirational. "Well whatever, I taught Sasuke a little something also." "Is it stronger than the gates?!" Asked Guy, "No, I don't believe any Genin should learn that." Guy cheered, "So I still win!" "We weren't even competing," Kakashi sighed.
