45 woman with strongest heart...

The atmosphere in the clan was not as cheerful as it used to be; a somber mood always surrounded the compound, as if gloomy clouds had covered the sun.

The medics in the clan were unable to cure the wife of the clan head. Many other doctors from the village came and went, but her condition remained the same, in fact, worsening day by day.

However, information about her remained closed, no doctor was permitted to share this information. To cover this up, it was said to check up on the newborns.

The doctors were very understanding; after all, they had families to feed at home.

.

The village's politics were corrupt, and the higher-ups were power-hungry, fighting for positions. They wouldn't hesitate to deliver a blow in an attempt to weaken a powerful clan.

One of them was Danzo Shimura, who aspired to become the Hokage.

He even once tried to assassinate his boyfriend, Hiruzen.

But their bond was so strong that the incompetent Hokage had forgiven him, allowing a snake to grow under his nose and giving him the green signal to do nasty things, like kidnapping children from orphanages or exterminating entire clans.

.

'But oh well, it was for the greater good of Konoha, so it was acceptable.'

'And I wouldn't be surprised if someone tried to kidnap my two little adorable dolls.' I looked at the two peacefully sleeping twins in my arms.

.

Something like the Kumo incident could happen in the future. I won't be counting on the security of the village; if someone could breach it once, they can do it twice.

As for the Raikage's attempt to kidnap me, I hadn't settled that debate yet.

'Hehe, I am still too young, and the Raikage is not old enough to die anytime soon.'

If he tries to do something again, I wouldn't mind pulling on Kumo what Obito and Zetsu pulled on Kiri.

.

It was past midnight, and the medical room was empty. With a smile, I caressed the cheeks of the sleeping babies.

"Ahh, Hinata, you are still awake, baby," with a weak grunt, my mum woke up and asked me.

"Yes," I said, still looking at Hanabi and Arya.

"You should sleep; you've been sitting here for hours. It's not good for your health," she said with concern evident in her eyes.

"Haha, I always sleep late at night. You shouldn't be worried about me."

"Oh, I always forget that you're a night owl, haha," she laughed.

"Hmm…" I hummed.

.

There was silence; no one spoke, but the silence became too unbearable for her.

"You were always very excited about the babies. How do you feel holding them?" she asked.

"It felt good; they are so cute. I just want to see them endlessly,'' I said.

.

"I see; then they are all yours," she said. Looking at her, I said with a grin, "Of course, they are mine."

She just smiled, pleased with my answer, "You know, I don't have much time left. I hope you don't let them feel my absence."

I put the babies in the crib, sitting beside her, and looked into her eyes. "You're not going anywhere, not until I allow you to go," I said, holding her hands.

"Haha, your stubbornness is showing, Hinata," she joked.

"I am serious."

.

There was silence once again.

With a defeated sigh, she started to speak.

"But the doctors say there is no cure for my illness," she tried to reason with me.

"You know, Mom, I don't want you to die. If you're not around me, I will feel alone, and I don't want to be alone. There are so many things I want to do and show you so you can be proud of me."

Hearing my words, the tough face she was forcing on herself, so I couldn't see her in this state, started to crumble slowly. The sadness and guilt of not being able to raise her children started to manifest in the form of cheek-soaking tears.

Her grip on my hands tightened.

"I, too, don't want to separate from you, but fate is against me. I couldn't do anything," she said, looking at me as if she was looking at her most precious thing for the last time.

'Fate, huh? I rewrite fate.'

.

"Don't look at me like this, Mom, or do you want me to cry?"

"No, I don't want to make you cry, baby," she said while crying herself.

"Do you believe me?" I asked a question to which I knew the answer very well.

"Of course, sweetie. Why do you even need to ask such questions?"

"If I don't want you to die, I have to cure you myself," I said, making her quiet.

"I have studied for more than 2 years and practiced for around 8 months. If the doctors can't cure you, it's because of their skill issues,"

She just looked at me; with a sigh, she spoke, "You, girl, you've been this tyrannical from birth. If I decline you, you won't let me live, right?" she asked.

.

"Yes, Mommy, you know me well," I smiled at her.

Maybe she agreed so easily because there was no hope left for her, or maybe she just wanted to die seeing the face of her daughter.

'I won't let you die, Mommy.'

Before starting the scan, I had told Ren not to let anyone enter the room.

"Are you ready, Mommy?" I said, putting a piece of cloth over her eyes.

"You know I can see you with my Byakugan," she nervously laughed.

"But you won't, right?" I asked.

"Yes, yes, do your thing."

'Here it comes.'

.

With a sudden burst of chakra in my eyes, my Byakugan was activated, and everything became monochromatic—white, black, and gray.

The only colorful thing remaining was the web of her chakra network, with 361 small tenketsu points and 8 slightly bigger points.

First, I scanned her blood vessels. They were weakened and could burst if her blood pressure went too high or too low.

Second, the walls of her heart were weakened, making the pumping of blood harder for her heart.

Third, her lungs were betraying her body; there was swelling around her windpipe and an infection inside the lungs.

'I see, so that's why she is dying. Any silly mistakes could eventually cause her death.'

.

With Byakugan, it was very easy to diagnose. Just with a glance, I found the problem.

'Let's first cure her windpipe and lungs.'

Raising my fingers, a very thin chakra scalpel appeared, and I placed my fingers just below her throat.

From the tenketsu points of my arm, many chakra strings entered her lungs, splitting themselves into numerous folds and occupying every inch of her lungs.

I had to manually remove the infected part and then cover it with silk-like threads, attaching them to some of her tenketsu points until she completely healed.

With a clear picture in my head and all of my focus, I started the process, forgetting about the time.

.

Next were the blood vessels around her heart.

Thin chakra strands began to swirl around them. This was the most challenging part; there were too many blood vessels, numbering in the thousands.

Some of them were very delicate, but I still weaved through them. After the blood vessels were taken care of, I moved on to the heart itself.

This part was the easiest; placing my hand on her chest, very thin chakra strands started to weave around the walls of her heart, coexisting with it.

Then, I slowly started pouring more and more chakra in a controlled and concentrated manner. Soon, the blue strands began to turn red, creating a heart within a heart.

.

And finally, I connected some strings to her tenketsu points to maintain it forever.

This was the final evolution of my medical ninjutsu; even if someone wanted to stab her in the heart, the weapon would be brought to smithereens.

I looked at the peacefully sleeping mother, 'it wouldn't be wrong to say you're the woman with the strongest heart.'

.

I looked outside from the window; it was still night, maybe it had been one or two nights.

"For the first time, I felt truly chakra exhausted."

Nine months ago, my limit was to construct an indestructible needle purely made from chakra, but now I can make a full-blown shell of a heart.

.

With a yawn, I lay beside her. "It might take some days to fully restore it."

I just hope nobody will wake me up at that time because I am truly feeling sleepy.

Looking at her, 'you will be in top condition, Mommy,' I thought before snuggling into her and finally closing my eyes.
