50 why so serious...

"That's why you are not worthy," Kimimaro coldly said, hurting his fragile ego even more.

After performing the hand signs that the great Iruka had told everyone to do after the sparring match, Kimimaro walked outside the ring. the great Kiba wasn't even able to break a sweat against him.

'If we didn't show superiority in taijutsu, that would just be considered as ruining the name of my clan.'

.

This time there were no girls cheering for him. It was not because he wasn't as good-looking as the Uchiha brat but because his eyes didn't hold the same cuteness as the Uchiha brat.

*Clap* *clap*

"You didn't disappoint us," Haku-chan and I clapped with smiles on our faces.

"Of course, I never will, Lady Hinata," he said, standing beside us.

After that, the matches went on as usual. The great Kiba was glaring at Kimimaro as if he had stolen his girlfriend, but everybody ignored him and watched the boring matches in front of us.

.

Then came the match between, "Sakura and Ino, come to the ring," the great Iruka declared.

This time, their bond wasn't as strong as it was supposed to be, due to my interference.

But it didn't matter anyway because it was destined to get toxic over the Uchiha brat.

.

*Gah*

Ino felt an unexpected punch to her guts and looked up at Sakura. "When did you get this strong?" she asked in disbelief.

"Haha, I didn't expect you to be so weak, Ino," Sakura replied. The match was over as soon as it started.

Ino, holding her painful stomach, with the help of her two friends, somehow managed to get out of the ring.

I had taught the girl some taijutsu tricks, so if it wasn't us three, Naruto or the Uchiha brat, she stomps everyone here.

.

'Did I see the sparks of jealousy?' Looking at Ino, I certainly felt it.

But it was an obvious reaction when a civilian girl like Sakura beat a full-fledged clan heiress so easily.

Not paying any attention to such petty things as jealousy, I watched the matches.

Shikamaru gave up when he was pitted against Choji, saying he would never fight his friends.

.

"Haku vs. Shino," the next match was declared.

With his hands in his pocket, his mouth hidden behind his high-collared jacket, black glasses on his eyes, and countless bugs in his body, Shino walked towards the ring.

"So how do you want this match to go, quick, very quick, or ultra-quick?" Haku-chan asked me with a whisper.

I raised my eyebrows and looked at him. "Where do you get all this cockiness from?" I asked him.

"But be very quick; I also want to throw some hands." A smirk eventually came to my face.

"Yes," he smiled with his eyes closed, and damn, his face looked so punchable.

.

Haku slowly walked towards the ring, a kunai mysteriously appeared in his hand.

With a completely opposite demeanor to Kimimaro, Haku smiled and said, "Nice to meet you, my name is Haku."

"Shino Aburame," he replied.

Haku nodded, and with a chuckle, he said, "Why so serious?"

.

Shino didn't reply, but this was not the case for Haku. "Oh, silent treatment, fine with me. I hope I don't get frozen due to your coolness."

"Start," the great Iruka indicated for them to begin their match.

"He sure loves to do trash talks," Kimimaro said.

"Hehe, you should do the same; it gives a different kind of pleasure," I advised him.

"I will think about it," he calmly said.

.

Back in the ring, Haku flexed his kunai skills, spinning them on his finger.

Shino, after analyzing his opponent, rushed toward him with his fist extended back.

Haku's expression changed when the fist hit him, but that's when Shino felt that he had finally hit Haku.

*Puff*

In a shocking turn of events for Shino, a wooden log propelled back from the smoke.

"What?" he exclaimed in surprise.

"What! What, you are breaking your cool character, Shino," Haku whispered behind a perplexed Shino, his kunai pressing to his neck.

"And don't try to move your bugs," Haku said.

.

Shino raised his hands in defeat. He was a smart kid; he knew when to give up.

"He is such a show-off," Kimimaro again whispered.

"Now, now, don't be so harsh on him. He is a child who has won for the first time in ages. Let him do as he pleases," I defended Haku-chan; the poor boy hadn't won against me or Neji even for once.

Haku walked towards us with a big smile on his face. "See, it was very quick, wasn't it, Lady Hinata?"

"You did very well," I praised him.

.

I watched the next match, and while watching it, I asked, "So, Haku-chan, what do you think of my match? Who will I be against?" I asked.

"Why don't you see the future?" he whispered.

"It doesn't work the way you think, but one thing I could see clearly was my opponent under my feet, defeated, hehe," I said with a grin and started to walk towards the ring because it was my turn against a random civilian boy.

'The best way to predict the future is to create it.'

.

Thinking about the future, I entered the ring and looked at the boy. From his face alone, I could see that this punk deserved a good beating.

"Hahaha, now I will pay you back for what you did at the entrance line," he arrogantly said.

Now I remember he was the kid that Haku had advised.

"You are nothing without your two lackeys, you pretty girl," he commented.

'These children had no respect for their superiors.'

I put my right hand behind my back and extended my left arm in a provoking manner. I spoke, "Oh, is that so? Then show us how you will pay us back."

.

This was enough to provoke him. He ran toward me like a rabid dog whose leash had been unleashed. "Don't act so high and mighty, you white-eyed freak!" he yelled at the top of his lungs.

When his punch was about to hit my face, my two chakra-coated fingers extended and hit him more than ten times around his chest and shoulder, disrupting his chakra network and closing his tenketsu.

"What have you done to me?" he yelled in panic and fear when his limbs went lifeless. He tried to move them, but his hands didn't even budge.

"I thought you were going to pay us. What happened now? I think you haven't heard our name. First, go and ask your father, then think about paying us back." With a hump, I walked outside the ring.

.

To be honest, it might seem like I'm very talented at taijutsu, which I was, but the instructor who knew about our fighting style considered it normal.

So I was not worried about the attention of higher-ups in Konoha; my brother Neji was just doing fine in this department.

"You are a mood killer, Hinata. I thought you were going to throw hands," Haku-chan whispered when I appeared beside them.

"Be patient, Haku-chan. Just one more year, and then we will show how sharp our fangs are," I said with a chuckle.

.

'Wouldn't it be fun to see their faces after the Uchiha massacre when the strength of the village severely weakened? Then suddenly they find out three more geniuses like Neji have appeared in the Hyuga clan. It will dramatically shift the power dynamics in the village.'

'And their weapon, whom they consider their last resort, my Naruto-kun. Hehehe. They will be surprised if they try to do anything funny.'

'In just the next 5-7 years, if everything goes according to my plans, Konoha will be in our palm, as it should be.'

.

End of the chater, how do you like it?
