17 Scratching someone's old wounds.

A chakra-coated kunai brushed past my neck. With my extreme agility, I bent my body, and with a swift kick to Neji's abdomen, I sent him flying back, his body hitting the water's surface many times.

The kick looked very fragile, but the impact of the kick was tremendous; ripples formed when he hit the surface.

.

He got up while wiping out a trail of blood from his mouth, a grin on his face. Then he slowly started to sink in the water, but his smile never left his face. The reason was that my condition was not better than his, but the difference was tha, I was still standing on the water, and he was sinking.

It was a pure taijutsu battle, and I won every time, and the reason was that I better utilized my chakra. However, the thing that was holding me back was my physical limitations.

.

I was still a 3-and-a-half-year-old child, and Neji was 1 year older than me. But due to the intense training, we didn't appear that young; he looked like he was six, and I was five.

"Don't get cocky, sister, just because you win," he said while coming out of the pond.

"Oh, look who's talking. First, win at least one spar, then you'll have the right to speak. Until then, be a good brother," I said with a grin.

I could see the fire in his eyes, the fire to surpass me. 'Dream on, brother. You can never surpass me.'

.

It's already night. We have been training since noon, and Neji was both physically and chakra-wise exhausted.

As for me, only my Byakugan could deplete my chakra when practicing internal vision or shinjutsu. So I was above half, but physical exhaustion was another thing.

"Let's go," I said to him, to which he nodded.

I was in the tub filled with hot water. "I have to go outside of the village, at least for a month," I thought out loud.

I had sent Ritsu to get the information about the thing I wanted. As for why he didn't become suspicious that I knew the things I hadn't even seen, well, there was one line that could convince everyone: "After all, my eyes can see the future."

.

I chuckled while bathing. "Now the problem was how should I convince my father and elders."

"Should I show them the power of my Byakugan?"

After all, in the clan, potential, talent, determination, hard work, and strength matter, and I had shown them all

"Should I take all the main house in my bag, or wait for a few more years?"

"Hmmm... what should I do... which method should I use..." I thought while relaxing my body.

.

"Hizuen still hadn't given Naruto the apartment; the boy was still on the streets," I thought. But the good thing was that he was not hungry or feeling cold.

"I am generous to the people I care about," I mused.

.

"I will meet him; it's been many days since I saw him."

After getting out of the tub, I dried my hair and wore white traditional clothes. I then looked in the mirror, 'Should I do that, it's been a while.'

*Crack*

The mirror cracked but didn't shatter. I have better control over it now. 'I wonder how much pain it will cause when I shatter someone's bones... hehehe...'

.

I exited from the bathroom and arrived at the dining table.

"How's your training going, princess?" my father asked with a proud smile.

I smiled back at him. "I am progressing, father."

"And how's your Neji?" he asked Neji.

Neji laughed slightly. "I still couldn't win."

"Don't worry, boy, you will win," my father encouraged him.

"Can't you talk about that stuff at the dining table?" my mother intervened with an annoyed look.

"Fine, fine... by the way, the food is very delicious," he said with a smile.

My mother smiled happily. I just looked at her. 'You are so easy, mother.'

.

After chatting about some random stuff, we finished our meal, and after saying goodbyes, I headed towards the library. The library had become a second home to me, and I also started to paint. As for why, it would play a crucial role in completely conquering someone.

.

Sitting in a chair, I dipped my brush in blue paint and started to draw. Then I dipped my brush in water to clear it, and dipped it in brown color to draw someone's neck-length hair. After another dip in the water, I drew a red moon over the sky, which reflected in a pool of someone's blood. Then I dipped my brush in red paint and drew eyes with a distinct pattern on them. The red eye looked like a scene from a distance with a broken heart.

.

"Hehe..." I chuckled and drew the last stroke, completing my art.

"Lady Hinata... this... how..." he stuttered with his words and was visibly shocked.

"My eyes can not only see the future but the past as well, Ren," I grinned at his stupefied face.

.

Ritsu was also shocked, but his question was answered by his brother, so he stayed quiet. He had returned just a day ago from his mission.

"So how's the situation?" I asked him while igniting a flame over my palm to give a final touch to the drawing.

"Just as you expected, they are starting to move, and there is no doubt they will be exterminated," he reported.

"And the other situation?" I asked him.

"That also has been started. It's like someone is manipulating them," he said.

"Hehe... you are right, and we are going to pick up the cream of the crop from this," I said.

.

"How will you get permission for this?" Ren asked.

"I will handle this. First, let's go to a special place," I said.

They nodded to me, and after studying until 3 am, I stood up, looked at them, and nodded.

---

Soon, we were heading to an isolated place in the village, and finally, we arrived at our destination.

"Lady Hinata, are you here to pay someone's respect?" Ren asked when we looked at the memorial of dead heroes.

I chuckled, "Do I look like that kind of person?" I said while touching a certain Uchiha's name.

.

Pulling the painting out of my pocket, I glued it onto that name.

"It looks perfect," I praised myself.

"Tell me, Ren, if someone adds insult to injuries, what will happen?"

He thought for a while, "It will cause them more pain and distract them from their surroundings."

"You are always right. Should I give you some rewards?" I asked him.

.

"It won't matter if I scratch some old wounds and add some spice to them," my laughter echoed in the graveyard, scaring sleeping birds.
