58 Spy

Sato frowned, he decided to ask Raikage A about the people who broke into his house.

There was no need for him to think so much when the answer was right before him.

"Do we know who they are?"

"Who has the guts to break into the hidden cloud."

Sato questioned the Raikage.

Raikage A didn't bother to go around in circles and said directly.

"Yeah we know who they are, they have something to do with you, this is why we haven't interrogated them yet."

Raikage took out two files with pictures and gave them to Sato.

Sato grabbed the files and instantly felt speechless.

Although he was relieved that they weren't from the Akatsuki, but he wasn't expecting these two either.

"Shisui Uchiha and Itachi Uchiha? What the hell are they doing in the hidden cloud?"

Sato scratched his head, he knew why Raikage didn't interrogate them, Shisui was supposed to be his spy in Konoha.

But he was obviously sneaking into the village with Itachi, so Raikage didn't know if Shisui betrayed Sato or not.

He simply captured them both and decided to leave this matter to Sato, Sato should handle it just fine.

"We haven't tortured them and they didn't say anything to us, they only wanted to meet you."

"We did notice one thing, Shisui Uchiha is missing an arm, his wound looks fresh as well."

Sato's eyes widened and Raikage's eyes narrowed.

Shisui loosing an arm means that he was attacked and somebody managed to cut off his arm!

But how could it be so easy, Shisui was a kage level ninja, Raikage A himself was not sure he could deal with Shisui.

"I see, Shisui must be in trouble, he wouldn't run to me so desperately otherwise."

"Now the question is, why did Itachi Uchiha follow behind him? I never spoke with the guy before."

"It's confusing, Raikage sama, I don't think Shisui betrayed me but something is off, can you bring them over to my house? It should be fine.

Sato frowned, Raikage A waved his hand and told Mabui.

"Bring them to Sato's house."

Mabui bowed to the Raikage and walked out, Sato waved at the man as well and walked out behind Mabui.

He didn't rush to go home after coming out, he took his time and thought about the situation before he finally decided to go back.

"You are here, I hope you didn't wait too long Shisui."

By the time he reached home, both Itachi and Shisui were already there, while Yugito was keeping an eye on them from the side.

"Sato sama we need your help! Uchiha is about to rebel tomorrow!"

The first thing Shisui did was ask for help in a flustered way.

Itachi didn't say anything, he just watched Sato from the side with a blank face.

Itachi was one of the few people Sato had trouble reading, the boy was one the greatest geniuses this world had ever seen, both mentally and physically.

Sato decided to deal with him later, he had more important things to handle now.

"Calm down, tell me the whole story, I need to know what's going on if you want me to stop the rebellion."

"And sister, please heal Shisui, his wound is still dripping blood, he will die at this rate."

Shisui wanted to shake his head and keep talking about the Uchiha.

He acted as if his health was far less important than the rebellion.

But Itachi grabbed Shisui's shoulder and looked him in the eye.

"Shisui, stop the bleeding."

Shisui turned towards Itachi, he was going to argue that this wasn't the time to do such a thing, but then he saw Itachi's eyes.

They were wet, tears were threating to spill out of the blank faced Itachi's eyes.

"Please Shisui, please heal yourself, I don't want to lose you."

Itachi's blank face cracked and he begged Shisui, all this time he was silently watching Shisui bleed out besides him, but Shisui never did anything to stop the bleeding!

When Shisui acted like this Itachi felt despair like never before.

He was sure that Shisui wanted to die, and that's why he wasn't stopping the blood.

But he didn't want Shisui to die, especially because of their village, Konoha was responsible for this situation.

"Itachi you.."

Shisui's words got stuck in his throat when he saw Itachi's eyes abruptly turning into a rotating Sharingan.

In a few seconds a brand new pattern appeared in Itachi's eyes.

Everyone standing here saw the change, but only Shisui and Sato recognised the eye.

'The Mangekyo Sharingan! Shisui is really important to you isn't he Itachi.'

'You must be feeling incredibly helpless watching Shisui bleed out, or such intense emotions wouldn't break out.'

'Calling the Sharingan a cursed eye isn't exactly wrong.'

Sato watched Itachi's new eyes with wonder, such beautiful eyes but it's users were always sad.

"Itachi.."

Shisui choked as well, then gently wiped Itachi's wet eyes with a smile.

"I see, this is so important to you huh? Okay, I understand, I'll heal myself."

Itachi was right, Shisui did not want to live, after what happened to him in Konoha, him dying was good for everyone.

If the Uchiha clan finds out that Danzo attacked him and he lost an arm, there would be a civil war almost immediately.

"If you are done talking, I'll get to work, I am not a medical ninja but tailed beast chakra has strong healing abilities."

"This will hurt a lot, tailed beast chakra isn't as gentle as medical ninjutsu."

Yugito folded her hands and walked towards Shisui.

Shisui smiled gently and raised his empty sleeve.

"Please."

He said softly and showed Yugito his missing arm, Yugito put her hand above the bloody stump and used Matatabi's yang chakra.

*Sizzle*

Shisui's flesh began to smoke, it was as if his flesh and blood was being burned, but Shisui still had a gentle smile on his face.

Yugito was impressed, tailed beast chakra was painful but Shisui Uchiha was strong, he didn't even say a word after experiencing this much pain.

*Sizzle*

"Just a few more seconds."

Yugito thoughtfully gave some kind words to Shisui, this was her way of showing recognition.

Shisui was taken aback but nodded with a smile.

*Shssss*

Yugito took her hand back after a while and Shisui was no longer bleeding, his stump was fully healed.

He still didn't have an arm, because tailed beast chakra obviously couldn't regrow a whole arm, but at least he was no longer bleeding out.

"Thank you."

Shisui bowed to Yugito, Sato silently cut into the conversation.

"Alright, now that you are healed, tell me why you were attacked."

Shisui nodded, he didn't beat around the bush and became serious.

"I was attacked by Danzo, he wanted my Mangekyo Sharingan, but I don't know how he knew about it, I never told anyone."

Itachi silently looked down with guilt, but nobody paid attention to his small actions.

"Sato sama, after I knew that Konoha wants to kill the Uchiha, I have always been on guard, this is why I managed to save my life."

Shisui sadly smiled.

"I think I am being targeted, even Hokage sama might be involved in this attack."

"He called for me late at night, when I was returning home after meeting him, that is when Danzo attacked me."

Itachi clenched his fist after hearing this but didn't say anything.

Shisui continued, not knowing that a spy was sitting on his side.

"Danzo attacked me with a poisonous aburame insect, he poisoned me and went for my eye."

"But I cut off my hand as soon as I saw the poisonous bug bite my elbow."

Shisui held his stump with a sad smile.

Itachi silently gritted his teeth in anger after looking at Shisui's missing hand.

"Uchiha is on the verge of rebelling, if they know that I was attacked at this time, there will be a war in Konoha."

"Sato sama, I wanted to tell you the whole situation before I die, but decided to meet Itachi once before leaving the village."

"Itachi saw my situation and came with me to you. Sorry, I brought him without permission Sato sama."

"But he is trustworthy, I assure you Sato sama."

Shisui gently looked at Itachi, but it seems like Itachi had something in his mind.

He became silent for a few seconds before looking at Sato.

"I told Hokage sama about Shisui's Mangekyo."

"I am keeping an eye on the Uchiha clan for the Hokage, he told me Shisui might not be trustworthy."

"I also told Hokage sama where Shisui is going before leaving the village."

Shisui's eyes widened, the shock was so great that his mangekyo automatically activated.

Itachi didn't show any emotions beyond clenching his fist.

"I am a spy, if you don't want your information to leak, kill me."

The atmosphere became dead silent when Itachi revealed the truth.

Shisui was attacked because of Itachi and now their location was revealed as well.

Shisui felt despair, he was feeling the whole world crumbling around him.
