21 Hyuga pride

The gates of Konoha were wide open for Sato's team, a large group of people had come out to welcome them.

His team was representing a hope for peace, it was a customary thing in Konoha to welcome such a team with open arms.

Sato walked in the middle of Yugito and C, observing the crowd who was welcoming them.

'They are still giving us a welcome ceremony even after what we did to the Hyuga?'

'And is that a Hyuga on the side forcibly smiling at us..?'

'The third Hokage has these guys wrapped around his fingers man.'

'They can't even attempt to fight back or show dissatisfaction.'

Sato shook his head, this was really sad but he wasn't blaming them, he knew the clans were just protecting themselves.

If Hyuga clan shows any dissatisfaction an 'accidental' Hyuga massacre might take place.

Uchiha are the only ones who have the guts and ability to show their dissatisfaction, and they are almost about to be 'accidentally' massacred for real.

'Come to think of it, there is no way an Uchiha would welcome us right?'

'We are obviously not coming with good intentions, we even targeted a dojutsu before.'

Sato thoughtfully looked around the crowd, his eyes searching for the classic Uchiha symbol.

Their symbol resembled a fan, this was the Uchiha flame fan, the treasure of Uchiha clan which was lost when Madara, their previous patriarch defected.

'Oh, there is the Uchiha clan symbol, who is it, who is representing the Uchiha in this situation?'

Sato curiously looked at the young man standing with a gentle smile, a short sword was strapped to his back, and the deep wrinkles around his eyes showed he was frequently stressed.

'That's Shisui, of course it's him, who else could it be.'

Sato rolled his eyes.

Shisui, nicknamed the teleporter, the owner of Mangekyo Sharingan, most importantly known as the guy soon to be 'accidentally' dead.

Certainly, this was a nickname only Sato could give him at this point in time, there was still a year left before Shisui is killed by the high level of Konoha.

'The man is a gentle soul but he trusts his Hokage sama way too much.'

'His beloved Hokage sama didn't even bat an eye when Danzo straight up murdered him.'

Sato sighed, the more he thinks about Konoha the more he is thankful for being a part of the hidden Cloud instead.

Who can stand their own village constantly thinking of ways to kill them!

"Welcome! I am glad that we could put aside our grudges for the peace of the Ninja world."

"Konoha and Cloud are eternal allies despite our differences!"

Sato was snapped out of his mental ramblings when he heard a very agenda filled speech.

Looking at the one who was spouting such lines with multiple hidden meanings behind it, his eye met the smiling third Hokage.

'Of course it's him, the self proclaimed strongest Hokage in history, self proclaimed god of Shinobi.'

'Man knows no shame.'

Sato resisted the urge to laugh at the Third Hokage's face.

By calling himself the strongest he was essentially telling everyone he was much stronger than Madara and considers Hashirama his little brother.

How hilarious that was is something only Sato could fully understand in the current era.

Not many have seen the real god of Shinobi in this generation to fully understand the absurdity of the Third Hokage's claims.

"Certainly, I hope this time around Konoha really wants peace, and won't attack us without reason."

Yugito tilted her head and happily started putting the blame on Konoha.

She said all this while looking at the Hyuga clan elder.

The third acted as if he didn't understand a word and laughed a good natured laugh.

"Certainly, the last time was a mistake on our part, I have warned everyone to not make such a grave mistake again."

The third seriously said those words which made Sato gag.

But Yugito and C didn't care about this, they had a mission to complete.

"I hope so, the Hyuga clan taking out their battlefield anger on a peace envoy like us was a very disgusting thing to do."

C said while making a disgusted face at the Hyuga clan representative.

The representative in question was currently trembling in shame, his fists were clenched in anger and embarrassment but he didn't have much of a choice.

He had to stand there and take this if he didn't want his clan to be targeted by Konoha's high level.

Wonderful.

"I.. We Hyuga clan are sorry for our actions."

The Hyuga elder gritted his teeth and managed to say these words.

They basically put their pride down and stomped it on the ground.

This much was enough for Yugito, they had embarrassed the Hyuga clan for defending themselves and they couldn't do a thing.

She was about to snort and move on to the next step, but C patted Sato's back a little.

'Hmm? Are you telling me to have a go?'

Sato felt the signal they had decided upon and looked at C with the side of his eye.

He found C subtly nodding to him, indicating that he should give it a try as well.

Sato looked at the embarrassed Hyuga elder and sighed, he had to do it didn't he.

*Ahem*

Coughing a bit Sato attracted everyones attention, then looked at the Hyuga elder with a smile.

"If you are really apologizing then bow down?"

"Did no one teach you manners old man."

Sato's harsh words coupled with his harmless smile made even the third Hokage pause.

The Hyuga elder was the most affected, he was almost about to lose control.

"Hitoshi."

But one word of warning from the Third Hokage made him stop.

He quickly deflated like a balloon with holes poked in.

Hesitatingly walking upto the hidden cloud team he slowly bowed down.

"The old man.. apologises."

A voice filled with helplessness came from the Hyuga elder.

Sato figured this much should be enough from his end but C tapped his back again.

Making him sigh and steel his heart.

Maintaining a harmless smile Sato took and step forward and raised his hand.

"Good job, very good job boy."

The Hyuga elder's eyes shrunk.

He almost had a heart attack after sensing what Sato was doing to him.

He trembled and slowly looked up, only to see Sato patting his head like a dog.

Even Shisui had to grimace at how shameful this must be for the Hyuga clan, especially this elder.

The Hyuga elder could no longer take this, he stood up abruptly and stared at Sato with red eyes.

A massive amount of killing intent was emanating form the Hyuga representative.

In just a few words Sato managed to take him beyond his breaking point, he wanted to kill this cloud team even if it's the last thing he does.

He was from the noble Hyuga clan dammit, they had pride they couldn't compromise.
