Sato smiled widely while gathering a good amount of electricity in his fingers; he had enough current to get the job done.
Sato's control over his chakra was very high, so even if he gathered so much electricity, only a very slight buzzing sound appeared.
Unless someone was closely paying attention to him, they wouldn't be able to hear it.
'What's that?'
Hinata heard a slight buzzing sound from Sato's seat and switched on her Byakugan to see if he needed something.
'What is Sato kun doing?!'
Her soul almost left her body violently after seeing that Sato was about to strike the ground.

Hinata felt amazed; the more she thought about the situation, the more it made sense to her.
Even if Orochimaru didn't pay attention to Sato this time, Sato would expose him anyway using the actual ninjutsu instead of doing a bluff.
No matter what Orochimaru does, his instincts as a senior ninja will work against him, and he will behave differently from a bunch of genin, letting Sato find him.

On the other side, the sickly girl licked her lips with a long tongue. Sato just put his hand on his cheek and smiled at her.
'You found me.'
The girl gave a disgustingly sweet smile to Sato before turning away. Sato simply shrugged and turned around as well.
'I found Orochimaru; I could attack him right away, but that would mean I wouldn't get a chance to talk to him.'
'It's in my best interest to meet him at the forest of death, and ask him about the Sage's genes first; anyway, I have confirmed his existence, he can't surprise me any longer.'
Sato then smiled and nodded to Hinata; she was paying close attention to him as expected. It's just, what was up with that other guy?
Sato finally looked at the guy who was also looking at him, and raised his eyebrows.

Sato almost threw a railgun before Ibiki glared at him. Regaining his composure, Sato looked away. He would not entertain this nonsense.

It's because of this that Sato missed the boy muttering such a thing under his breath.
Looking the other way, the boy also regained his composure and took the exam seriously, as if nothing had happened.
Time passed bit by bit.

Naurto yelled a familiar line for the tenth question of the exam, a trick question that determined who would pass this exam and who wouldn't.
Sato and his group passed the exam without any issues.

The next phase of the exam began instantly. Anko Mitarashi, the next examiner, slammed into the classroom window and broke it apart, appearing in the middle of the exam hall.
'She's wearing a see-through mesh and nothing underneath it; it's all out in the open.'
Sato saw Anko for the first time in reality; she was basically the exhibitionist of Konoha; there was no censorship in the real world; the real Anko was way more intense than her story counterpart.
"Follow me."
Anko raised her arms without a care in the world and bent down, jumping out of the window and expecting everyone to follow her.
People did indeed follow her, but first with their eyes and then jumping down the exam hall themselves; one by one, they grouped up with their teammates.
"Naruto, Sasuke, meet you at the next exam, I heard it's supposed to be in the forest of death."
Sato smiled and waved at Naruto's team; both Naruto and Sasuke nodded quickly.
Meanwhile, Sakura, their third teammate, was wondering who Sato was, but nobody cared about her thoughts.
Down at the field in the forest of death, Anko was standing with her hands on her waist, showing everyone a document.
"Before you go inside, you have to sign a declaration; it's a document that says your death in the forest is your own problem, not ours."
Anko handed everyone the declaration form one by one, when it was Sato's turn, he took it from her and read it slowly.
A minute soon passed, just when Anko was starting to get impatient, Sato calmly signed his name.
"Took you long enough."
Anko muttered under her breath and moved on to the next person.
Hinata poked Sato and asked if there was anything wrong with the declaration form, but Sato shook his head.
This wasn't about the form; he made Anko wait on purpose, just to keep track of her smell, specifically the smell of snakes on her.
'With this I should be fully prepared for Orochimaru; I know what he looks like; I know the smell of Ryuchi Cave from Anko; Orochimaru should have a similar smell on him.'
'I am ready for him. He won't be able to catch me off guard.'
Sato stared at the sickly-looking girl with challenging eyes, she stared back, imaginary sparks were crackling between them.
Yet from the corner of the crowd, a boy was staring at them both with narrow eyes and a small smile.
