2 Chapter 2 Nohara Rin’s Confession

Chirp chirp chirp chirp!

The blinding lightning vanished in an instant as the sound of Kakashi's Chidori piercing through the heart of the Iwa ninja jounin echoed, along with the sound of the Iwa ninja jounin's double-edged blade striking Kakashi's chest, hot blood gushing out, splattering each other's faces with their opponent's blood!

"How...how is it possible..."

Iwa ninja murmured in disbelief, and the light in his eyes began to fade!

He didn't expect that he would die on the body of an Imp!

"Damn, I'm actually hurt!"

Kakashi endured the pain in his chest and pushed Iwa Ninja away. Iwa Ninja's body fell to the ground with a bang, but the double blades were still stuck in Kakashi's body, and blood continued to drip from the wound Fall down!

Kakashi endured the pain and pulled out the two short blades on his body, cursing secretly in his heart!

Feeling the weakness in his body, Kakashi's mind raced ahead to the unfolding plot, his anxiety mounting. A team of Iwa ninja was about to descend upon them, a situation he had not anticipated. Originally, Kakashi would have held out until Namikaze Minato arrived, but now he was injured, throwing everything off course.

In Kakashi's eyes, a hint of panic surfaced, yet he did not give in to despair. 

With a swift movement, Kakashi immediately darted away, back to the rocky outcrop. 

"Kakashi, you're injured?" 

Upon Kakashi's appearance, Nohara Rin spotted him and, seeing his wounds, gasped in alarm. 

"Kakashi..." Upon hearing of Kakashi's injury, Uchiha Obito also uttered a low exclamation. 

"Don't make a sound, Nohara Rin! Help me with urgent treatment, enemies are approaching!" 

Kakashi leaped towards Nohara Rin, his face grave as he spoke. 

"Okay!"

Seeing Kakashi's expression, Nohara Rin set aside her worries and began earnestly treating him. 

"Obito, rest assured, even if it means risking my life, I will protect Nohara Rin!" 

Kakashi, noticing Uchiha Obito's unspoken concern, particularly for Nohara Rin's safety, spoke resolutely, emphasizing the importance of survival. 

"Be careful... make sure to survive..." 

Uchiha Obito, on the brink of death, struggled to speak, coughing up blood. His breathing became labored, on the verge of losing consciousness, nearing death's door. 

"Obito..." 

Witnessing Uchiha Obito's condition, Nohara Rin couldn't help but cry out in sorrow, tears streaming uncontrollably. 

"Be cautious, the enemy is approaching!" 

Despite the sorrow in his eyes, Kakashi solemnly murmured, having sensed the commotion outside, detecting the presence of twelve enemies. 

"The enemies are inside, everyone attack!"

Kakashi then heard a faint voice from outside. 

The enemies seemed unconcerned about being heard by Kakashi's group.

"Damn it, we can't hide and delay any longer!" 

Kakashi cursed internally, intending to delay a bit longer. 

Namikaze Minato would soon arrive. However, the elite enemies quickly discovered their presence within the rocky layers. 

"Kakashi, take Nohara Rin and go quickly..." 

Uchiha Obito's urgent voice echoed in Kakashi's ears. Clearly, even in his near-death state, Uchiha Obito's perception had become unusually sharp. 

"Earth Style: Earth Splitting Palm!" 

As several Iwa ninja chanted, six of them simultaneously unleashed an Earth Style attack, causing the ground to tremble and crack with a thunderous roar.

"Ah..."

Startled, Nohara Rin gasped in disbelief, halting her medical ninjutsu on Kakashi.

"walk!"

With the situation dire, Kakashi acted swiftly, embracing Nohara Rin and leaping away. 

As they landed, the Iwa ninja's Earth Style attack struck the rocky layers, causing them to collapse. 

Uchiha Obito's form was instantly engulfed by the rubble. 

"Obito..."

"Obito..."

Kakashi and Nohara Rin, now separated, both mourned Uchiha Obito's burial under the rocks. 

However, Kakashi knew the imminent danger and didn't linger, swiftly carrying Nohara Rin away, evading further peril. 

As they entered the nearby forest, Kakashi, heavily injured, had to pause after two hundred meters, leaning against a tree. 

"Nohara Rin! Quickly, help me bandage these wounds urgently!" 

Sweat beaded on Kakashi's forehead, his face terrifyingly pale. 

His injuries were severe, and Kakashi relied solely on his willpower to stay upright, determined not to collapse. 

"I can't fall, or it's all over. Nohara Rin will die too, and I would fail Obito's trust!"

Kakashi sternly admonished himself internally, biting his tongue to stave off unconsciousness. 

"Teacher will arrive soon, I just need to delay until then!" 

Kakashi's mind raced, strategizing on how to buy time. 

"Okay..." 

Nohara Rin had already noticed the fresh blood seeping from Kakashi's wounds due to her interrupted treatment. Upon hearing Kakashi's words, she quickly nodded, her voice choked with emotion, swiftly bandaging his injuries. 

As she tended to Kakashi's wounds, tears streamed down Nohara Rin's eyes, torn between the pain of Uchiha Obito's passing and the anguish of Kakashi's injuries. 

"Nohara Rin! Obito really liked you, he liked you a lot!"

"So no matter what, I will protect you!" 

Seeing Nohara Rin's distress, Kakashi, like his original self, expressed both sorrow and determination towards her. 

Protecting Nohara Rin was in honor of Uchiha Obito. The integration of the new soul and body was still incomplete, allowing Kakashi's original soul to dominate his consciousness. 

"I... I know..."

"Then, my feelings, Kakashi, you..." 

Nohara Rin faltered, feeling a heavy weight in her chest, struggling to breathe as she desperately wanted to express her feelings to Kakashi despite the circumstances.
