After a few minutes, Sakumo brought a medical ninja to examine his son, Michikatsu. The medical ninja declared Michikatsu to be fit and fine. However, Sakumo informed the medical ninja about the matter of Sun's reaction and requested a thorough examination of Michikatsu's body. The medical ninja didn't find anything abnormal.

Then the medical ninja said to Sakumo, "Let's go into the sunlight. Only after observing the allergic reaction can I provide a definite assessment."

"No, I will never allow my son to go through that again," Kiyomi asserted strongly.

"No need to worry, Kiyomi. I also don't want our son to experience that again," Sakumo comforted her.

Sakumo then turned to the medical ninja and stated, "I'm sorry, but we can't expose our son to sun again."

"As you wish, Sakumo-senpai. If you need anything else, please let me know," replied the medical ninja before departing.

"Our son is fine and doesn't have any body-related issues. That's good," remarked Sakumo.

Kiyomi nodded at Sakumo and looked at Michikatsu, saying, "Don't worry, Michi. You will be alright. I'm here for you, okay?"

"Yeah, even if our son can't be in the sun, I've earned more than enough money for him to live a luxurious life," Sakumo said with a smile.

After the medical ninja left, within a few hours, the higher-ups of the village – the clan heads and the Hokage faction – received news that Hatake Sakumo's son was allergic to the sun and couldn't be exposed to it. Those who had intended to support Sakumo had to reconsider their decisions. The Hokage faction, especially Danzo, Homura, Koharu, and Hiruzen, became happy upon hearing this news.

Sakumo was aware of these developments but didn't react. Time passed like this – Sakumo continued his missions as usual, and Kiyomi spent time with Michikatsu.

(Michikatsu's POV)

"It's been a year since I reincarnated into the Naruto world, and now I've finally been able to regain my memories properly. Due to my chaotic memory and my demon body, I didn't react to anything as I should have, whether it was sadness or crying like a child should. What a rollercoaster ride I've had in this world, abandoned by my real father and accused of being ominous. But becoming the son of Hatake Sakumo and a mother in this world is the best thing that could have happened to me," thought Michikatsu as he looked up at the ceiling of his house.

"Michi must be sleeping. His sleep wasn't fulfilled due to someone who woke him up at midnight."

"Sorry, but I wanted to wish my son before anyone else could. I was so excited that I woke up Michi before anyone else could."

"Hmm? It seems Mother and Father are coming," muttered Michikatsu as he sat up straight.

"We're coming in, Michi," announced Kiyomi before entering Michikatsu's room.

Kiyomi and Sakumo entered the house and saw Michikatsu sitting there, looking at them.

"Happy birthday once again, my son," said Sakumo as he hugged Michikatsu.

"Thank you, Father," replied Michikatsu.

While gently rubbing Michikatsu's head, Kiyomi asked, "Son, we're going to buy gifts for you. Is there anything specific you need?"

"Now that I can read and write, I need books on everything about this world: how ninjas fight, how they're divided based on their strength, how the politics of this world work, and its geography," explained Michikatsu.

"Okay, anything else?" inquired Sakumo.

Kiyomi and Sakumo weren't surprised by this; they knew their son's character. He wasn't someone who enjoyed playing with toys but preferred to learn something new.

"No, nothing else," replied Michikatsu.

"Alright, you wait here. I'll send Shi to take care of you, okay?" said Kiyomi, her face displaying a touch of sadness.

"You look sad, Mother," observed Michikatsu.

"If only you could come with us for shopping, it would have been great, but..." Kiyomi's face conveyed her disappointment.

"You don't have to worry, Mother. I don't really enjoy playing with other children anyway. Moreover, with the increasing speed of my regeneration ability, I'm confident that by the age of four, I should be able to match the pace of my body's healing with the rate at which the sun burns my skin. Eventually, I'll overcome this weakness. So, don't worry, Mother. I'll take you shopping myself," Michikatsu reassured her with a smile.

Seeing Michikatsu smile, Kiyomi's sadness lifted, and she smiled back. It was a rare sight to see Michikatsu smile, even once.

"Okay, you wait here. We'll be back as soon as possible, and tonight, I'll make your favorite dish, 'Kinoko Tofu'," promised Kiyomi.

"Okay," replied Michikatsu.

After their conversation, Sakumo and Kiyomi left for the market, leaving Michikatsu in his room. He spent his time reading some basic information about ninjas, things he already knew due to his transmigration. However, he wanted to ensure he hadn't missed anything important or gained any additional insights.

(Sunagakure's ninja POV.)

"With Hatake Sakumo gone, his son must be alone in the house. If I kill his son, Chiyo-sama will be very pleased and will surely reward me generously," the Sunagakure ninja thought.

"The main reason I couldn't enter Hatake Sakumo's house was due to a small barrier surrounding it. It's linked with Konoha's sensory barrier. If I entered Hatake Sakumo's house like that, the ANBU ninjas would be alerted. But now I have the seal combinations to bypass the barrier and enter Hatake Sakumo's house." With this plan in mind, he moved to the back of Sakumo's house and performed hand seals to breach the barrier and enter the residence.
