6 Foursome

"There you are!"

We turned back to see Kakashi standing there nonchalantly with his hands in his pockets.

"Hey Kakashi," Naruto waved, "have a seat, join us."

Sakura jumped to her feet. "Sensei."

"Hi sensei," I nodded at him.

"Students." Kakashi sighed and sat beside Naruto, staring at us. "Why weren't you at the classroom?"

"Oh, we already knew you were gonna be late. Why bother?" Naruto slurped up his noodles. "Should you be here though?"

Before Kakashi could answer, Ayame appeared.

"Hi Kakashi."

"My beautiful Ayame." Kakashi stood. "Words are not enough to describe your beauty. The sky weeps at the sight of you. The mountains bow just to catch a sight of those legs. You, my sweet, must follow me home today."

Ayame giggled. "Stop being silly Kakashi. What should I get you?"

Killing intent descended upon us, forcing Kakashi to choke on his words. "Didn't I say never to show your face here again?"

Kakashi froze as Ichiraku stalked out of the kitchen.

"You know where to find me." Kakashi whispered to Naruto and disappeared, leaving swirling leaves behind.

The killing intent pouring off Ichiraku decreased but didn't disappear. There was silence as he stared down the customers. "What are you looking at?" He growled and suddenly, the customers all had somewhere to be.

In a minute, it was just us three at the stand. "What the hell was that?" Sakura whispered furiously.

"Not here." Naruto hissed. We hurriedly finished our meal, paid and departed.

"Okay, what was that?" I asked. I can't say I'm not curious. Ichiraku is not a ninja so what could make him produce killing intent that is so potent?

"Well, Ichiraku caught Kakashi and Ayame in bed together."

"Oh!" Sakura covered her open mouth with a hand.

Kakashi, that bastard! In my mind, I didn't know whether to cheer for him or seethe at his luck. On one hand, dude's now my role model. On the other hand, why couldn't it be me?

"Where are we going?" Sakura looked around.

"Training ground seven." Naruto answered. "That's where Kakashi is."

I snorted as I suddenly had an idea.

"I know that look." Naruto smirked. "I see it everyday in the mirror. What is it? Spit it out."

"Doesn't this seem like the perfect opportunity?"

"For what?" Sakura raised an eyebrow. She looked to cute.

"Think about it. From what I've heard about Kakashi, he likes making people wait. How about we make him wait for a change?"

"I like the way you think." Naruto nodded thoughtfully. "This is what is called poetic justice."

"I don't know about this." We both turned to look at Sakura. "Should we risk antagonizing our sensei?"

"I know Kakashi. He's a pretty laid back dude." Naruto nodded. "He won't mind."

"Okay! Anybody up for some snacks?" We all grinned as we turned around and headed in the opposite direction.

"By the way, what's our excuse if he asks if we're late." Sakura asked.

"I'm so glad you asked."

When we finally got to training ground seven, an hour had passed.

Training ground seven was a space at the edge of the village bordering the forest, so it was surrounded by trees and was carpeted by grass. There was also a small stream running through it.

In the middle of it, Kakashi was standing next to three wooden logs stuck into the ground at the centre of the field.

"Hi Kakashi." Naruto grinned. "Sorry we're late. A black cat crossed our path so we had to take the long way around."

Kakashi looked like he wanted to say something before he sighed, shaking his head.

We shared a grin among ourselves.

"Welcome, team seven." Kakashi hopped onto a log and crouched. "Let us all introduce ourselves. Tell us your name, your likes, dislikes and dreams for the future. We'll start with pinky here."

"Err...sensei. We all know each other but we don't know you well. So why don't you start?" Sakura asked.

"Okay smarty pants. My name is Hatake Kakashi, I like a lot of things, I also have dislikes. My dream for the future? You don't need to know about that."

"You didn't actually tell us anything." Sakura sighed. "My name is Haruno Sakura. I like flowers and my best friend Ino. I dislike idiots. You all don't need to know my dream."

As one, we all turned to look at Naruto. "Whatever it is, I didn't do it." Naruto raised both hands in innocence.

"It's your turn, idiot." Sakura scoffed.

"Oh." He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "My name is Uzumaki Naruto. I like ramen, I dislike waiting for ramen and my dream is to protect the village."

Almost the exact same as the manga. At least he's consistent.

My turn.

"My name is Yuji Mukokuseki." If you guessed that I'm an orphan, you're right. I am. Apparently, I was dropped in front of the orphanage in a basket with the name Yuji written on it.

"I like big asses."

Sakura made a sound of disgust and Kakashi nodded at me. "A fellow man of culture I see."

"I dislike those who people who are super skilled at getting the ladies." I glared at Kakashi. Those idiots don't want to leave anything for the rest of us.

"As for my dream, that's a secret." For those that don't know, my dream is simple. Have a harem. What's the point of fighting as a ninja if I can't come home to my collection of big asses?

"My, my, what a pretty little foursome we are." Kakashi grinned. "Enough of that. Tomorrow, we'll be having our first training session. I have a little something planned to gauge your prowess on a mission. Your performance will decide how we take things from here."

"Be here tomorrow at ten." He disappeared leaving swirling leaves again.

"Ten? Will he be late again? What time should we actually be here Naruto?" Sakura asked.

"Just be here at noon. If you're not sure you'll find him, come at one."
