The leader of the caravan, his mustache twitching nervously, couldn't help but sweat profusely as he regarded the formidable traveler before him. Hanma Yujiro's muscular frame and intimidating presence were enough to make anyone feel uneasy.

Still, as a seasoned merchant, he couldn't afford to let fear dictate his actions.

With forced composure, he stammered, "W-well, sir, we do have a fine selection of sake and wine, just as you requested. And, um, may I inquire if you have the means to make a purchase?"

Hanma Yujiro's smirk remained firmly in place, showing his confidence and self-assured demeanor. He casually reached into his coat, retrieving a small sachet filled with gleaming ryos.

The sound of the coins jingling within the pouch seemed to put the merchant's nerves at ease.

With a flourish, Yujiro tossed the sachet to the merchant, who caught it with an agility that belied his portly appearance. The weight and clinking of the coins within confirmed that this traveler was no ordinary customer.

A pleased glint entered the merchant's eyes, and he promptly transformed his demeanor, putting on the warmest, most welcoming smile he could muster.

"Thank you, kind sir," he said, his voice now tinged with gratitude. "Please, allow me to show you our finest selection of beverages."

Yujiro grinned as he knew these kind of people the most, "Heh, hurry up and show me my boozes."

The caravan's leader led Yujiro towards the back of one of the wagons, where an impressive array of sake and wine was neatly arranged. Barrels and gourds of all sizes and shapes stood side by side, their labels indicating various vintages and origins.

Yujiro observed the offerings with a discerning eye, his experienced palate savoring the anticipation of good booze.

As he perused the collection, his gaze wandered over the caravan itself. He couldn't help but notice the hired guards, who seemed somewhat lackluster in comparison to his own formidable standards.

Their equipment appeared outdated, and their stances lacked the confidence and precision that Yujiro had come to expect from seasoned warriors. This didn't escape Yujiro's eyes, and it further solidified his growing disinterest in this particular caravan.

He had initially sought it out just for the prospect of acquiring some quality booze, but now, with the knowledge that even the hired guards failed to meet his standards, he lost all motivation to linger.

After choosing a few gourds of sake and wine, Yujiro made his purchase without much fanfare. He paid the agreed-upon price, and the merchant ensured that the bottles were safely stowed in a sturdy bag for his journey.

With a nod of thanks and a wave of his hand, Yujiro took his leave from the caravan. The leader watched him go, his relief palpable.

Once the imposing traveler had disappeared into the distance, the merchant couldn't help but release a heavy sigh.

Meanwhile, Hanma Yujiro had picked up the pace of his journey, the antagonizing prospect of boredom made him no longer held back his speed. The forest scenery rushed by as he moved swiftly towards the Land of Whirlpool, eager to find a new challenge, a worthy adversary, or perhaps even an unexpected encounter that would quench his insatiable thirst for excitement.

...

The journey towards the Land of Whirlpool was a swift one, with Hanma Yujiro's powerful strides propelling him through the dense forest. His anticipation grew with each passing moment, an insatiable thirst for excitement driving him forward.

After several weeks of relentless travel, he finally reached his destination—Uzushiogakure, the Village of Longevity. The moniker was well-deserved, as the people of this village were known to have extraordinarily long lifespans, showing their unique and mysterious ways of life.

There was something peculiar about them, and Yujiro was interested in this particular clan.

Uzushiogakure was a picturesque village located on a distant, remote island. Viewed from afar, it presented a stunning and tranquil panorama that captured the essence of its hidden and secluded nature.

The village was nestled on the island's shoreline, surrounded by crystal-clear cerulean waters that stretched as far as the eye could see. A gentle breeze often swept through the island, causing the vibrant green foliage of the surrounding forests to sway in rhythmic harmony.

The island's landscape was characterized by lush, dense forests teeming with diverse flora and fauna, adding to its natural allure.

Uzushiogakure itself, with its unique red whirlpool insignia adorning its buildings, was a vision of rustic beauty. The village seemed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings.

The buildings were constructed from a blend of local materials, giving them an earthy and organic appearance. The red roofs of the buildings contrasted vividly with the lush greenery, creating a striking visual contrast.

Towering cliffs and rocky outcrops jutted out into the sea, forming natural barriers that protected the village from the open ocean. Ships and boats could often be seen dotting the coastline, evidence of the village's maritime culture.

Uzushiogakure was renowned for its Fuinjutsu, a complex and enigmatic branch of ninja arts that focused on sealing techniques. The Uzumaki clan, in particular, was celebrated for their mastery of this art.

The village's close ties with Konohagakure, stemming from the blood relations between the Uzumaki clan and the Senju clan, had further solidified its significance in the shinobi world.

As Yujiro approached the village, he couldn't help but marvel at its unique architecture and the aura of mystery that hung in the air. The buildings appeared ancient yet well-maintained, and the village itself was nestled in a picturesque coastal location.

It exuded an air of timelessness and resilience, and the villagers went about their daily routines with a sense of purpose that intrigued Yujiro.

Standing at the village's entrance, Hanma Yujiro was greeted by a towering gate adorned with intricate seals. Two guards, clad in the distinct Uzushiogakure attire, eyed him with curiosity as he approached.

Yujiro's presence didn't go unnoticed, and the guards exchanged a few hushed words before one of them stepped forward to address him.

"Greetings, traveler," the guard said respectfully. "What brings you to Uzushiogakure? Are you here for trade, or perhaps you seek something else?"

Yujiro's smirk was ever-present as he regarded the guards, his arrogance and self-assuredness unshaken.

He leaned casually on the hilt of the glaive strapped to his back and replied, "I'm here to satisfy my curiosity. I've heard tales of your village's longevity and mastery of Fuinjutsu, and I wanted to see it for myself."

The guards exchanged glances, their expressions a mixture of intrigue and wariness. Visitors were a rarity in Uzushiogakure, and a stranger who openly proclaimed his curiosity was an even rarer occurrence.

"We don't often receive travelers," one of the guards admitted. "But if you seek knowledge or wish to trade, we may be able to accommodate you. Follow me, and I'll escort you to Lady Mito, one of the village young leader."

Hanma Yujiro nodded, willing to entertain the idea of speaking with the village's elder. He followed the guard deeper into the village, his keen eyes taking in the details of the surroundings.

As Yujiro continued to stroll through the village, his mind abuzz with anticipation.

But one of the guards accompanying him couldn't suppress his curiosity any longer. He cleared his throat and posed a question to the imposing traveler.

"Excuse me, sir," the guard began, eyeing Yujiro's long and luscious dark red hair with a hint of confusion. "Are you perhaps a member of the Uzumaki Clan?"

Yujiro paused briefly, his smirk never leaving his face. He deduced that the guards' puzzlement about his hair color had led to this assumption.

With a casual puff of smoke, he responded, "No, I'm not an Uzumaki. I hail from the Hanma Clan."

The guards, whose knowledge of the outside world was limited, nodded in acceptance. To them, the Hanma Clan was just one of many clans that existed beyond their village's borders.

They had little reason to question Yujiro's assertion further.

The guard's footsteps echoed through the Uzumaki residences as they approached the chamber of Uzumaki Mito. The walls were adorned with intricate seals, and the air hummed with the presence of potent chakra.

Yujiro's keen senses detected the unique energies that permeated the very structure of the building.

Upon reaching the entrance to Lady Mito's chambers, the guard paused and gave a respectful bow. "Wait here, sir," he instructed, "I shall inform Lady Mito of your arrival."

Yujiro inclined his head in acknowledgment, his crimson hair cascading over his shoulders. He observed the intricate patterns etched into the walls and ceiling with keen interest. Every element of this place seemed to hold a story, a legacy that spanned generations.

Moments later, the guard returned, a gentle smile on his face. "Lady Mito will see you now, sir. Please, follow me."

Yujiro followed the guard into a spacious room, dominated by a large wooden desk covered with scrolls and tomes. Seated behind the desk was Uzumaki Mito herself, a striking woman with fiery red hair that matched her clan's signature hue.

She had a long, bright-red hair and large, black pupilless eyes. Her hair was arranged in buns with hair pins in them and three clips in the front. She also wore a dark shade of red lipstick and had a rhombus marking on her forehead.

Her eyes sparkled with wisdom, and her presence exuded warmth.

"Welcome to Uzushiogakure," Mito greeted Yujiro, her voice calm and composed. "I am Uzumaki Mito, one of the leaders of our clan. It is an honor to receive a visitor from the outside world. May I inquire about your name?"

Yujiro offered a slight bow, a gesture of respect despite his overbearing demeanor. "I am Hanma Yujiro of the Hanma Clan," he declared.

But in Yujiro smirked inside his mind, 'Although, it's only me. For now that is, heh.'
