8 Reality check
Naruto was about to dodge but tenten redirects her punch and she nearly face planted but she caught herself, after training with Naruto from time to time over three years she improved on some of her weaknesses like taijutsu and she started to work on her main element earth.
She spun around and came face to face with an angry tenten
Tenten says "what do you think your doing?"
Sakura glares at her and said "he's two timing so I'm giving him what he deserves!"
Tenten turns around quickly and the betrayal and hurt Naruto sees makes him feel like shit She makes a move to slap him put stops herself and clenched her hand and put it down She couldn't bring herself to do it and said nothing.
Sakura calmed down after seeing Naruto feeling regret and tentens emotions and realized there may be more to the story and she may have said to much.
He try's to explain but tenten shakes her head and her face no longer shows emotions.
Tenten says "let's get this mission started"
Kakashi and gai cough "right, we need to get going"
before Naruto could talk to her, team Gai took off. His head dropped down and he sighed, then they took off with lady chiyo after she finished getting ready and Naruto decided to focus on the task for now or get killed because of being distracted.

Naruto was basically leading the group because of how fast he was going, all of a sudden he hears a familiar sound of a fire and it was sailing through the air he quickly stopped and used the force to backflip out of the way and land next to kakashi and the fireball exploded against the tree setting it on Fire.
They came face to face with Itachi Uchiha, which was a mistake on 3 of the 4's part since Naruto is basically unbothered by his genjutsu because he just didn't look into his eyes right away, which surprised Itachi though he didn't show it at all.
Now that he has to change his plan since He only wanted to talk with Naruto, it seems he'll have to fight after all kunai slide down into his hands but he just stands there calmly.
Naruto does a hand sign and releases the seals on his arms and legs he looked at his teams and realized he was all alone since they all had a dazed look in their eyes and as soon as he unsealed his sword he was already in front of Itachi who just raised his chakra coated kunai to meet his sword eyes closed, they keep going back and forth Naruto slashes at his eyes and Itachi just deflected it but just barely making him realize he couldn't just mess with him like he did to his brother he opened his eyes revealing his sharingan, Naruto grinned and disappeared in smoke and was already behind him with the RASENGAN already against his back Itachis eyes widen 'When' and got smashed into the ground he slowly got up wiping the blood off of his lip with the back of his shirt missing.
Naruto suddenly sees itachis body dispersed into crows and he suddenly felt a kunai against his throat and a kunai behind his back against the location where his heart would be.
Naruto thinks 'Damn, I never looked at his eyes what the hell'
Itachi says "I do not wish to fight with you Naruto, I only wish to speak"
Naruto scoffs "Yeah and why should I talk to you"
Itachi says "is it true did sauske truly abandon the village?"
Narutos head lowers "Yeah but I promised I'd bring him back no matter what so none of what he did matters somebody's waiting for him in konoha, for now. And I plan on kicking his ass within an inch of his life for stabbing me in the back, literally."
Itachi says "I see, you really do not wish to kill sauske for what he did, why?"
Naruto shrugged "I consider him my brother, and brothers fight and even though I DO want to kill him, I won't because I still see a brother and best friend in him" (A/N: a bunch of Naruto BS)
Itachi says "you truly are an odd one, Naruto Uzumaki I guess you really live up to your clans name"
Narutos eyes widen "What Clan!?-" itachi knocks him out with a pulse of chakra he sent by touching his head and passing something on to this unpredictable but good person that he hopes gets through to his foolish little brother because he's running out of time himself then the body he was using starts to fail and the jutsu fades revealing a different body falling to the ground.
kakashi suddenly drops in with a chidori going through the chest slamming the body rest of the way into the ground causing an explosion.
Kakashi says "damn if only I was faster, but what kind of jutsu was that, he was still able to use some of his ability even if he was limited" he punched the ground feeling useless he swore he would start training like he used to, he was taking shit to easily ever since he became a sensei.
Naruto woke up holding his head then opened his eyes then he felt a pull on his chakra desperately calling for help and as soon as he realized who was calling for help he disappeared in a flash without giving a dam about the consequences and kakashi sat there shocked after seeing his sensei's Hirashin Jutsu again and from his son no less.

Naruto appears on water, he sees Tenten in the water prison like kakashi was on the wave mission. He instantly slashed the water clones of the shark man and he saw tenten falling towards the water slightly unconscious and he caught her and carried her bridal style.
He said "Ten-Chan, Ten-Chan are you okay!" She started to wake up and looks at Naruto and with Teary eyes said "you really came, all I could think about was calling for you to save me and you actually did"
Naruto smiles and softly kissed her forehead "I'll always save you if you need me since I know your strong, but no matter were I will be there"
She looked at him sadly "I know, but don't think I'm not still mad at you because I am hurt but we need to finish this rescue mission so please leave me alone for now ok, Naruto"
Naruto looked away towards Gai, Lee, and Neji finishing off the shark guy and sighed he put her down and with his back turned to her wiped his eyes with his hands.
He said "of course Ten-Chan, I just hope... one day you'll forgive me because I don't think I could survive long without ya" she reached out to him but then he was gone.
'Naru-kun...'
