1 Falling into the water

It was a normal day in the life of Hirashi, a Japanese-Brazilian who was currently walking along the streets of Tokyo. He had a calm look on his face as he scrolled through his phone, checking the news of the day. It was nearing noon, and Hirashi enjoyed the winter in Japan, something they didn't have much of back in Brazil.

The young man continued walking, now flipping through the internet to read one of the latest chapters of Boruto. With a long sigh, he muttered to himself, "I can't believe it. Naruto was so cool, but Boruto has so many things that seem to come out of nowhere, as if the author just wanted to keep it going and did so just for the sake of it."

Just as he finished speaking while walking across the snow-covered bridge, something was coming towards him, and someone shouting could be heard. Hirashi didn't notice in time, and as he looked, a truck was sliding on the bridge he was on. Startled, the young man clenched his fists as he jumped off the bridge towards the water below, his thoughts simple and rapid.

'You're not taking me today, Mr. Truck.'

With a faint smile, he plunged into the icy water, not that he was worried, as he was a good swimmer. Feeling the water flow around his body, he quickly began swimming upwards. However, at the same moment, he felt something strange; his body didn't move as he wanted.

'What? Why can't I move? My body feels heavy!'

He continued to struggle in the water unsuccessfully for a few seconds. His vision began to blur slowly as he looked up and could see the beautiful blue sky, and a shadow leaping just above where he was, and then his vision darkened.

Hirashi felt a warmth spread through his body as he began to wake up slowly, opening his eyes to see a ceiling he didn't recognize, and it didn't seem like a hospital ceiling. He blinked a few times, trying to sit up in bed and then looked to the side.

" Where am I? "

But as he spoke, he was startled. The voice that had come out of his mouth was very young. "This voice... Don't tell me! " Looking around, he saw a basin of water nearby. Pulling it towards him with some difficulty, he looked into the reflection to see a young boy, no older than 5 years, with dark eyes and fair skin. His black hair was well-kept, and the boy had the appearance of a porcelain doll, untouched by the world.

And finally, he looked at his hands and legs, placing his hand on his chest, and now he was sure, being in a child's body, he looked to the door that was slowly opening with large scared eyes, seeing something he didn't expect, well, the situation was already unexpected, but who entered the room was indeed a doctor... But a ninja doctor, he recognized the clothes, and the calm voice came next.

" Oh? Ryo Shimura-kun? Finally awake! I'll call your guardians, just wait a moment. "

As the name was spoken, he felt a great headache, the ninja doctor turning his back while the little boy's headache started to get stronger and stronger. 'This pain...', amidst the pain, memories were flowing in the boy's mind.

The memories were from the body, from Ryo, the little boy who was the son of a small family, who dealt with goods and mainly with money assisting Konoha with this, but with the Kyuubi's attack destroying much of his family's business, and now he didn't have much left, being one of the last of his family.

'Ryo's family didn't manage to return to what it was even six years after the attack on the nine-tailed beast's village. And Ryo ran away from home and fell into the river...'

The pain continued for a few more minutes until an elderly lady entered the room, speaking with a worried voice, " Ryo-kun! Are you alright now? You don't know how worried grandma was. " That lady in front of him was Ryo's grandmother, his last living relative.

Trying to adapt to all of this, Ryo looked at the lady and spoke with a slightly weak voice. " Sorry, Grandma Sora... I'm fine now. " After that, she talked a little more with the ninja doctor, who said he could already leave the hospital and go home. Leaving the place while holding his grandmother's hand, he looked at the city with a deep look.

'I wasn't hit by the truck... But still, I ended up here, right, I have to understand what's going on, I'm six years after the fox's attack, and I'm six years old, and from my calculations, there are still two months left before I can enter the ninja academy.'

He put his hand on his chin as he thought more deeply. 'Six years?... Isn't that the age Naruto enters the academy too? He fails a few times in the academy, but I don't know how that went, the manga doesn't make it explicit... I'm going to be his classmate then!?' Thinking about it, he got lost in time seeing that they were arriving in a more populated area with civilian houses. They stopped in front of a house that wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad either; the house had a small courtyard where you could see a swing on one of the thick tree branches; this brought some flashback memories to Ryo from the Naruto manga. Entering the house, he could see that it had few pieces of furniture, but it was simple and comfortable; the house had four rooms, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and the kitchen area, which was together with the living room.

Ryo sat on the bed as he looked at the floor; reality was still hitting him. 'Alright, let's recap, I was in Japan, then I fell into the water because of the truck that was going to hit me, and I fainted, and woke up in the world of Naruto...' He put his hand on his face and began to go through the events that would unfold in the next few years. 'First, there's the academy arc, where Naruto and the others train, and then the encounter with Kakashi.'

Ryo spent the rest of the first day in the new world thinking about what he could do; he had no idea yet if it would be good to change the original plot or if he could even do it since there were many factors to consider with everything at stake.

" Damn, I have to eat something and start training! I can't just be an extra... But I can't attract too much attention either. "

He fell silent; it wasn't good to say that out loud. 'I have knowledge of some jutsus and their hand seals, but I don't really know about chakra and how it works to mold it for the jutsus... Maybe...' He looked at the palm of his hand as he remembered a ninjutsu that didn't need an element to learn but was very complicated. 'I can start trying to learn the Rasengan, but for that, I have to improve, actually learn to control chakra; that's a plan, not dying, not being an extra character, and getting strong!' The little boy lay back on the bed, looking at the ceiling
