Nagato's expression changed, and he warned her, "Don't attempt to seize the Angelic Scepter. You're no match for Yasao. If you confront him, you won't even have a chance to act."

Konan quickly added, "I'm willing to negotiate with him. If he agrees to heal you, I'll offer anything in exchange!"

"No need, Konan. I've grown accustomed to this."

Nagato claimed, but deep down, he wasn't entirely certain.

Was he genuinely accustomed to it? If he were, he wouldn't gaze at the Angelic Scepter with such longing.

"I can't allow it, I might still obtain Might Guy's Elixir of Life!" Konan whispered, knowing that forcing Might Guy into a desperate situation would lead him to consume the Elixir and unlock the Eight Gates, making her wish unattainable.

So, she refrained from taking action.

"Wait, maybe I can make it onto other lists and secure a treasure to heal my wounds," Nagato proposed.

Konan said hopefully, "Let's hope so."

A little while later, the second-ranked weapon was unveiled.

However, the Immortal Slayer Sword offered a glimmer of hope, albeit a slim one.

"These formidable weapons only rank second. How formidable must the first weapon be?" Ōtsutsuki Kaguya pondered, a mix of fear and anticipation in her heart.
