Chapter 179: Misunderstood By Naruto

'Finally caught up…'

'They finally caught up.'

Satoru and Terumi Mei stopped in front of a hotel, and when Naruto just arrived looking half-dead, he heard Satoru say, "Three rooms."

Then the shopkeeper said regretfully, "I'm sorry guest, the business is very good today, and there are only the last two rooms left. Do you want to make do with that?"

Satoru glanced back at Naruto and said, "Hmm."

On the second floor, the three of them looked at the two keys in Satoru's hand and looked at each other.

In the end it was Satoru who handed one of the keys to Terumi Mei.

"You sleep by yourself, I will watch this little guy."

Terumi Mei looked at the key and nodded.

She just wasn't in the mood to mess with Satoru right now.

'No, wait!'

'I never wanted to mess around, but this guy Satoru never allowed me to resist whatever he did.'

After going to the room, Terumi Mei lay on the bed, tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep.

She opened her eyes abruptly. She was somewhat uncomfortable to find out that since her stay in Konoha and her relationship with Satoru improving, she didn't feel so at ease without him by her side.

'Now that guy should be sleeping with Naruto. The two of them may have something to talk about during the night, if I just find a random reason to pull Satoru out, it will not be appropriate.'

She really couldn't sleep, so she could only go downstairs after dressing up to ask the sleepy boss for a jug of wine and some snacks to eat with the wine, and then returned to the second floor.

Terumi Mei felt like she was caught while doing something wrong. She quickly hid the wine behind her back in haphazard manner like an anxious child. 

"You...why haven't you fallen asleep yet?"

Satoru, who knows when he arrived and sat there, just stared at her with a half-smile.

"I thought that someone might not be able to fall asleep, so I came here and waited, but I didn't expect that it really was the case."

Terumi Mei's face turned red again.

She cleared her throat and said, "Don't you know that there is a saying called being homesick? It's not that I can't sleep because I miss you!"

As soon as this remark came out, the smile on Satoru's face grew stronger.

"Yes, yes, it's definitely not because you miss me."

No matter how you look at his smile, it looks like he was teasing someone!

Terumi Mei didn't tried to explain any longer, she just sat on the ground and started drinking.

Her legs were very long, and she was still wearing a yukata from the inn. So, when she was drinking in a lazy posture, the scenery under her skirt was just like a sight to be seen.

She didn't know if she was drunk or something, but for some reason, she wasn't afraid, instead she raised her legs.

"Looking at me like this, do I look so good?"

"You look great."

Satoru replied honestly, "You are one of the few beautiful women I have ever seen."

"Tch, so I am not the most beautiful one, such a compliment is really hard to impress someone."

"I know, but I'm just telling the truth. You are indeed very beautiful, but you are not the most beautiful one I have ever seen."

For some reason, Terumi Mei suddenly became jealous.

She leaned over the railing towards Satoru.

The distance between the two balconies was so close that after she leaned over, one can feel and smell the other person's body.

She hooked her fingers at Satoru, and when he also bent to lean over, she suddenly kissed him on the lips.

Surprised by her sudden kiss, Satoru blinked with astonishment.

His reaction made Terumi Mei smile even wider.

"But you are the most handsome man I have ever seen. I am not lying to you. I really think so."

Terumi Mei returned to her room with a smile, Satoru stood where he was, reached out to touch his lips, and then lightly jumped to her balcony to drink the several jugs of wine she hadn't finished.

Terumi Mei remembered about the remaining wine and that Satoru jumped over to this side, but she was too sleepy, and didn't have time to worry about whether he enters her room or not in the end.

'Forget it, what's the difference between him getting in or not. No one can control him for what he wants to do, and no one can force him for what he doesn't want to do.'

Early the next morning, Satoru woke up full of energy, but Terumi Mei was particularly haggard.

She doesn't drink often, and every time she drinks, she wakes up very haggard the next day.

Naruto looked at Terumi Mei's eyes with a somewhat evil gaze.

After Naruto kept staring at her all the way, Terumi Mei finally couldn't bear it anymore.

Naruto ran to the front, leaving Terumi Mei and Satoru behind.

Terumi Mei actually had her own doubts when she asked this question to Satoru.

She wanted to confirm from Satoru whether he entered her room last night or not.

If he really entered her room, did he do something to her?

She doesn't resist it, but she hated the feeling of not knowing anything.

"What would happen even if I did entered your room last night? Would you be angry?"

"That… not really, but I want to know, that what you have done to me."

"Nothing was done."

Unexpectedly, Satoru answered very simply, he said, "I drank your wine, ate your snacks, sat outside your window for a while, went in and covered you with a quilt, and left. You seemed to be asleep very deeply though you appeared a little uncomfortable in your sleep, so I just didn't bother you."

Compared with those perverted things he did to her in the past, this kind of insignificant matter made Terumi Mei's heartstrings tremble even more.

"I thought you'd do something else to me."
