Finally, the fight started. The first match was between Kiba and a civilian kid.

Akira had no idea what was going on with the audience but all of them were silent and just observing.

"Seems like the clan leaders do not cheer their kids like normal parents do. Maybe something to do with their clan status" Akira wondered.

The match itself was a short one. Kiba won without many issues.

The next match was between Ino and a Uchiha girl called Miko.

Akira already knows how this is gonna turn out.

Miko won.

Ino might be better than the cannon but she is still not a straight-on fighting type. Never was and can't be especially when she is only 12 years old now.

Akira looked towards the Yamanaka patriarch and there was a small smile on his face like cheering on Ino from afar. Ino too just wave with a smile even after losing. Maybe they too are expecting this.

"Seems like I can use this to bull at least Ino over and try to make her stronger. If possible that will let me make my way towards the Yamanaka clan entirely." Akira smile a little.

In comparison to the Yamanaka, the Uchiha side was not making any noise. Maybe they don't even consider other clan a opponent. 

He can only attribute this behaviour to their absolute trust in their daughter that she is going to win and that they did not even react to her victory. Mikoto Uchiha was there too, even after Fugaku was there for Sasuke.

And that is not it. There was one more similar chakra signature that Akira could feel. "Itachi no doubt" Akira wondered.

"I told you that I will win. You just should have surrendered then you had a chance" Said Miko after the match in Ino's ears.

Akira had an insane hearing range when they heard this. He kept looking at Ino but there was no reaction from her. Well, no reaction on the outside. There was anger inside which Akira picked with his senses.

"Being a sensor is a boon" Akira mutters.

"Hey don't feel bad. Here take some mango flavour candy. Don't tell Hinata but you are the first tester of this one" Akira said after getting a little close to Ino.

Ino who had a little ugly face at this time immediately lit up. Actually winning or not losing does not matter to her that much. Of course she wanted to win but she too understand that beating a Uchiha is hard.

She was angry because of the bad behaviour of the Miko. So when Akira gave her candy. She immediately forgot about Miko and took the Mango Flavour Candy.

The next match was between Shikamaru vs Kenta Uchiha

This was an interesting fight. At first, Shikamaru had no will to fight. In fact, after running around a little bit he was about to give up but then suddenly. A sharp voice rang in the entire room.

"SHIKAMARU. IF YOU DARE TO GIVE UP THEN I WILL MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE THE MOTIVATION TO FIGHT IN THE NEXT BATTLE" This was his Mom.

Fierce women if Shikamaru had anything to say. Akira too agrees with that notion.

So to save his peaceful life, Shikamaru pulls a 200 IQ move out of his ass somehow and wins the battle with a nasty face.

There was a look of triumph on her mother's face while the man sitting beside her was making the exact face as Shikamaru like now. Like telling everyone.

"Troublesome Women".

Akira and everyone else was giggling.

Next was Sasuke vs Choji.

This match was simple enough. He is much stronger than even the anime. Sasuke wins with a land mile.

Poor Choji was actually beaten badly.

"Hmm seems like I need to make the entire Konoha 9 except the Uchiha strong to bring any sort of progress to my plan" Akira mentally noted.

"Choji here, it will make you feel good" Akira went towards Choji and handed him a mango flavour candy he created for himself and Hinata. But considering Choji's condition. He needs it more.

Guess what, he immediately eats it all and asks for more. "Seems like he likes it"

Mango Candy, Pasta, Pudding and many other things which are common on Earth or even seen in the anime are not available here.

This world is more like the Sengoku Era in Traditional Japan. Many things like this are a rarity in this area.

The next match was between Shino and a civilian.

No need to explain the outcome of this match. And considering the Aburame clan. Akira was not expecting any reaction either.

The next fight was between two Uchiha. Izumi vs. Mitsuki. Akira hardly cared about the fight and turned blank eyes. And considering the audience, he was not the only one.

Izumi won in the end.

The second last fight was between Hinata and Inabi Uchiha.

This match was something which Akira was personally interested in. Hinata was not only his friend all this time but this match is also important for his plan and his future relationship with the Hyuga clan. Which is currently the only clan which can somewhat go against the Uchiha clan.

Actually, they can't but they are better than other clans for sure.

Both Hinata and Inabi came to the fighting ring and got ready.

"Start," the teacher said. He was acting as a referee here.

Hinata took her clan's gentle fist stand and got ready. Inabi (Who by the way is a boy if you can't tell by the name) rush towards Hinata.

Both the Uchiha clan and the Hyuga clan play the game differently. While Uchiha are inherently more aggressive in their fighting with their intercept fist style. Hyuga clan are more passive with their gentle fists.

And with this, both the opponents collided. Hinata one by one dodged all the attacks coming towards her.

This version of Hinata was not that shy and timid. Of course this was because of Akira. Although it's a huge upgrade to what she was in the anime but still she is that sweet girt who don't want to hurt anyone.

"Can you only dodge Hyuga? Fight back" Inabi provokes her.

Hinata on the other hand just kept on dodging. Actually she to some extent agree to Inabi's comment.

Because she does not like hurting others. Hinata was always bad at fighting. Not because she is weak but because she doesn't like hurting others. Everyone in the clan and Academy knows this. Even Inabi knows this.

Hyuga Hiashi who was standing on the side looking down on her eldest daughter frowned. But this frown was not because Hinata was not attacking and only dodging. He long expected this. Over the years Hiashi Hyuga has learned that his eldest daughter is no Ninja material.

He has long given up on her. And was just somehow trying to save this useless daughter of hers who turned out to be a complete disappointment from being marked with the caged bird.

No matter how big of a disappointment. He still loves his eldest in his own way and could not see her being marked with the cage bird seal.

To fix this he even physically harm Hinata so that he fights back. He mocks her and publicly shames her but none works.

So he gave up and focused entirely on her second daughter Hinabi. So no he was not frowning because Hinata was not attacking and only dodging. He long expected to expect nothing from this useless daughter of hers.

What he was frowning on was how well Hinata was dodging all of Inabi's attacks.

He narrowed his eyes and noticed that although Hinata was still using the Hyuga Gentle fist. Her style was different.

Then he also noticed that a lot of Gentle Fist's own weak points and gaps did not exist in the style Hinata was using and his eyes suddenly widened.

He opens his Byakugan and realizes that Hinata's own Byakugan is not open, she was not even using chakra at this time. But her breathing was different. It was like she drawing more air in her breathing. Her all moves were flowing with his breathing like it was specially tailored for this particular branch of the gentle fist she was using.

He was shocked, to say the least. For the first time, he saw hope for her eldest.

He wanted to immediately ask her where she learned this technique but held himself back. The fight was still going on.
