Ch. 11 Spar (part 2)

The level of swordsmanship that Chiba had perfomed shocked Orochimaru as it even reminded his of the legendary Sakumo Hatake.

He simaltaniusly blocked the six shuriken, the whole process was smooth and flowing without the slightest hesitation or wasted movement.

However it was too good, nearly impossible from a five year old child. He saw within Chiba's swordman ship not just talent and skill, but also experience that should only be seen in veterans who survived on the battlefield for years.

Orochimaru somewhat understood Danzo's reason for him observing Chiba, being able to have such swordsmanship is already amazing enough but to do it as a blind man?

It is unimaginable difficulty to reach such a height as a blind person, howeverit appears that a five year old has done it.

This growth rate is too abnormal, if the boy still had his eyes, Orochimaru figured that the boy would've already eclipsed the likes of Kakashi even thought he was also a genius who was multiple years older.

"Does the reason lay in his eyes?" The snake felt his mind whirling as the thought of studying Chiba started to grow.

The increase in strength that the Sharingan brings to a Uchiha clan member is terrifying, Uchiha Shisui is a good example.

The moment that he awakened the sharingan, he gained the title "Shisui of the body flicker". The activated sharingan gave Shisui extremely fine tuned chakra control to use this jutsu that he had an affinity with to it's ultimate potential.

"This might mean Danzo is correct, maybe his blindness isn't a birth defect but the burden of opening his eyes too young and the side affect is blindness. He is just five at the moment, as he ages his body will grow stronger and there may be hope of regaining sight." Orochimaru hypothesized.

"Sharingan, what an interesting phenomenon! There seems to be a reason to observe you!" The snake stopped thinking about Chiba's condition and decided to focus on the fight.

The battle between the two continues.It could be visually seen that Itachi grew from each mistake he made and never made the same mistake twice.

Dashing forward, Itachi's kunai started to slash out as Chib stepped back and made minor adjustments to dodge the attack. Causing the snake to come to a realization.

'Even without the sharingan, this boy has to be a one in a million Sensory ninja that has all of his senses fine tuned to the absolute to limit. How else could he react to shuriken that don't have chakra attached to them?'

Orochimaru naturally thoight that Chiba judges Itachi's location based on sound and Chakra sensing, not knowing about the existence of Observation haki.

Chiba's Observation Haki has already seen everything through, even the snake hiding in the grass has long been noticed. Chiba knew that if a five year old boy was able to sense even a Kage level sanin hiding in the grass, then he'd be immediately dissected by the mad scientist.

This was one of the main reasons why Chiba moved in with Koizumi and her family even though she made his life more difficult. Her house was a one minute run away from Itachi's and while Chiba knew that he couldn't even lay a scratch on a kage level Ninja at the moment, he was confident that if he started using the prediction capabilities of his observation haki, that he could get to Fugaku and have him take care of it.

Itachi realized that Chiba had far exceeded him in close quarters combat and started keeping his distance from the Chiba. Taking out 5 shuriken in each hand, Itachi threw them in the air only for the ten shuriken to sudden turn into 50 mid air.

'Thats Tobirama's Shuriken shadow clone jutsu!' Orochimaru thought awe, he was learned that jutsu when he was a Jonin!

Suddenly Itachi reached into his back and started throwing more and more shuriken, only for them to sudden multiple mid air as they nearly seemed to blot out the sun. This surprised Orochimaru but what shocked him next was the fact that the original shurikens started clashing mid air!

The shadow clone shuriken never touched another object at all as the original shurikens clashed and changed directions through the cloud of shadow shuriken without destroying a single one!

Chibas arms turned into a blur as both his sword and sheath started hitting shurikens out of the sky but he wasn't just hitting them. Chiba seemed to know which shurikens were real and deflected those back towards the cloud of shadow shuriken, destroying a dozen with each deflection.

Orochimaru was stunned watching the two kids sparring, realizing he heavily underestimated the two Uchiha children.

'To be able to make hundreds of shuriken shadows clones at 5 is amazing, but this Chiba kid can't be outdone. I can understand being able to sense the shadow clone shuriken because if the chakra, but how are you deflecting the real shurikens! In other words, Chiba was able to locate them only based on sound!'

"Amazing kid… Danzo, I didn't expect you to send me a monster!" The snake whisper to irself.

A monster indeed! The blade in Chiba's hand is getting faster and faster until ghe last shurikens was cut down and a panting Chiba was all that remained.

"As expected to be Chiba-san... You still have impeccable defense, are you sure you were born an Uchiha and not a Hyuga with that level of defense" Itachi said jokingly before his eyes became deadly serious as he saw Chiba sword move.

Itachi dropped the Shuriken and made hand sign with both hands extremely quick and took a deep breath, and exhaled suddenly.

"Fire Style- Great Fireball jutsu!"

In an instant, a huge ball of fire flew towards Chiba.

Seeing this, the white little snake in the grass started quickly slitehtering away, fearing that it will be caught up in the jutsu and miss the end of this spar.

Taking his sword, Chiba sheathed it back into his blade as his stance changed. He lowered his body slightly as the muscles in his legs contracted as he activated his second template ability, Soru! Placing his hand on the handle of the blade, Chiba's hand turned white with how hard he gripped it.

'Itachi, watch and realized that kill the entire Uchiha clan isn't an option, not while I exist!'

Chiba wanted to make Itachi to realize by himself that killing the Uchiha wouldn't solve the core problem, but he also wanted Itachi to realized he couldn't kill the Uchiha clan even if he didn't change his mind.

As the heat of the fireball inched closer, Chiba activated Soru and jumped forward as he felt the muscle in his legs nearly snapping. Chiba's sword was drawn from it's sheath in an instant, severing the fire ball and reappearing infront of Itachi.

Itachi couldn't see what had happened, all he heard was the whistling of Chiba's sword and saw the Great Fireball behind him was divided into two.

'Such high level Iaido! I couldnt see him moving through this snakes eyes!' Orochimaru was already shocked by the boy's accuracy and techniques with the blade, but to also be so proficient at the speed drawing aspect of swordsmanship!

Feeling the heavy blade of Chiba's resting gently on his neck and shoulders, Itachi showed no fear to his friend as his childish eyes shown in excitement.

"Chiba-san, can you please teach me that?" Itachi said as he replayed the scene in his mind.

"What sensei holds out on his disciple? Of course I'll teach you. Just show up with your own sword tomorrow as I'll never lend anybody else my blade while I still breath" Chiba said, holding his blade in a protective manner.

"I've already told you Chiba, I'm not your disc-" "Uchiha Chiba! I have been looking for you for a long time!"

Itachi was cut off by the childish angry yelling of a boy. Orochimaru turned his snake head to look, and saw his sensei's child, Asuma Sarutobi jumping down from a tree.
