12 Training outside!

After they were done with the lunch, Kazutora decided to wash these dishes this time instead of letting Kurenai do everything.

Kurenai, who was thinking of denying it, changed her mind after remembering what happened yesterday and she let him wash the dishes.

Seeing her like this, Anko felt strange, and when she saw Kazutora using the transformation technique, she understood what happened, and joked with Kurenai.

"Hehe, I didn't expect you to like people who have contrast in between eyes and hair," Anko said in a joking manner, talking about Kurenai's black hair and red eyes, and Kazutora's blue eyes and white hair.

Hearing her words, Kurenai rolled her eyes, and she didn't say anything. She just looked at Kazutora washing the dishes with a gentle smile on her face, and Anko's expression turned weirder.

'I was just joking but I didn't expect my joke to be true.' Anko thought in her mind, and she looked at Kurenai's gentle smile. The same smile that Asuma had been working hard for years to see, but now Anko had seen the smile many times today.

'Tsk! Tsk! Sure enough, appearance is the priority. Anyway, let's not think about this matter. The more I think, the weirder it will get. I have read many stories about between adopted brother and sister. But Kurenai doesn't seem to be the type of girl who will get influenced in this matter.'

Thinking of this, Anko shook her head, and she removed these thoughts from her mind. She knew that the more she thought of this matter, the weirder it would get.

"So, what will you do later?" Anko asked while changing the topic, and Kurenai looked at her.

"Anko, I feel that my strength is lacking. Do you want to train with me?" Kurenai asked while thinking about this matter. She knew that it wasn't common for ninjas to train together unless they were good friends or relatives as information is crucial to ninjas.

But she had been friends with Anko for years and they had trained before together.

"Hmm? Do you, a chunin, want to train with me, a genin?" Anko said with a glint in her eyes, and she wanted to know Kurenai's thoughts.

Seeing her thoughts getting seen, Kurenai was embarrassed but she acted as if nothing had happened and nodded at her.

"Tsk! Tsk! Kurenai, it seems your skin has gotten thicker. Anyway, I will be performing in the Chunin Exam later. It won't hurt to practice with you."

Anko said after thinking for a moment and Kurenai nodded at her words. Then she thought of something and asked, "Did Orochimaru Sama say something about this matter?"

"Hmm! Unlike the past exams, this time only one exam will be conducted, and the Teacher said that the exam is going to be a bit difficult."

Kurenai raised her brows at Anko's words, and she understood that Orochimaru didn't tell everything to them.

"Then, let's go outside. Kazu will also be coming with us, and he will practice Water walking. We can train near the Naka River."

"Hmmm! You finally said your true thoughts. Kurenai, I don't know much but I feel that you are worried about something. What is it?" Anko said the first line in a joking manner, and then she narrowed her eyes to the following words.

Kurenai looked at Anko as she heard the words, and then she rubbed her head.

"Well, you will see later. But I hope that you will remain silent on this matter." Kurenai said as she thought of something and decided to let Anko see on her own.

Seeing her talking cryptically, Anko raised her brows, but she didn't ask more and decided to see it later.

While they talked, Kazutora was done washing the dishes. He dispersed his transformation technique, and then as he walked into the room, he heard Kurenai speak.

"Kazu, we are going to practice at the Naka River. You can come with us to practice chakra control there."

Kazutora was surprised by the words, and then he nodded with an excited look on his face. He had already read most of the theories and now all he has to do is involve them in practice and get used to the process.

The trio left the house with Kurenai locking the house, and they ran towards the place of training with Anko leading them.

Ten minutes later, the group reached the place, and Kurenai looked around. She saw that the place was covered with trees on three sides, and the river on the other side.

It had sufficient space in between for three people to practice, and Anko shot Kurenai a knowing look, to which she responded with a light smile.

"Kazu, you can start practicing the chakra control. Me and Anko are going to fight."

Anki had a weird expression on her face when she heard the matter. She thought that Kurenai would explain the matter first, but instead, she directly asked him to practice.

"Have you explained the theory already?" Anko asked but what she greeted was Kurenai's punch. She jumped backwards and saw Kurenai rushing at her, and Anko became serious and used the Substitution technique to move away.

"He already knows the theory," Kurenai answered while making hand seals, and Anko saw her disappearing among cherry blossom flowers.

She understood that Kurenai had used illusion on her, and when she made the seal to remove the illusion, Anko felt danger and she crouched.

A fist passed above Anko's head, and Anko rolled away from the place.

"Kai," She flared her chakra by using a seal to remove the illusion, and then Anko looked around to look for Kurenai.

Not finding her location, Anko used a summoning technique to summon small snakes, and the snakes moved in several directions.

Seeing this, Anko put her hand on her waist, and her expression changed when she remembered that she had forgotten her pouch.

"That's cheating," Anko muttered as she jumped back to dodge the shuriken coming at her, and she reached the corner of the land. Looking at the river behind her, Anko frowned and then she remembered that Kazutora should be somewhere around.

Her eyes widened as she thought of this, and just as she was about to use hand seals to flare her chakra, her body was covered with vines growing from the ground, and Anko felt a metal touch her chin.

"You lose," She heard Kurenai's voice in her ear, and when Anko admitted her defeat, the illusion disappeared.

Anko looked at Kurenai in front of her, and with an annoyed look on her face, she asked, "What was that?"

"Haha, are you asking me this? Seriously?" Kurenai said with a laugh, and an irked expression appeared on her face.

She waved her hand at Kurenai, and from them, several snakes rushed at Kurenai.

Kurenai, who was prepared for the matter, used a substitution technique to dodge the attack, and Anko saw Kurenai sitting on the tree while making hand seals.

"Ahhh! I admit defeat!" Anko shouted as she found herself in an illusion, and when she tried to order her snakes to bite her, she sensed that she couldn't control her snakes.

"This time for real?" Anko heard Kurenai's voice and she nodded like a hen-pecking grain.

This made Kurenai release the illusion, and Anko looked at her with an annoyed look on her face. But she didn't attack Kurenai and sat down on the ground to recover the chakra that she wasted.

"We will fight again," Anko said while growling, and Kurenai chuckled at her words.

The fight between the two didn't take much time, and Kurenai looked in the direction of the river. Looking at the figure falling into the water again and again, Kurenai shook her head and asked, "Are you ready?"

"Give me a fucking minute," Anko cursed at Kurenai, making her look at Anko with a dumbfounded look on her face.

Kurenai clenched her hand, and she decided to give Anko a good beating instead of just dealing with illusion.
