Mikoto's Troubles!

Opening the door, Kazutora looked at the guests at the door and he smiled at them.

Mikoto looked at Kazutora, who opened the door, and she had to say that no matter how many times she looked at him, she couldn't find many flaws in his appearance and personality.

If she had to say about one flaw, it would be his playboyish behavior, but she knew that it couldn't be blamed on him.

"Hey, Sister Mikoto, Itachi and Izumi!"

Kazutora greeted the group, and he asked them to enter the house. Izumi looked at him with an excited look on her face, and Itachi didn't have much change in his expression. Mikoto maintained her calm look, they entered the house and sat in the main room.

Kazutora created a clone that went to fetch the snacks, and he sat between Mikoto and Izumi with Itachi on another single sofa.

A strange look appeared on Itachi's face as he looked at Kazutora sitting in between, but he didn't say anything as Itachi knew that his mother and Kazutora were close, and she considered him as her little brother. Besides, Izumi is his girlfriend, and she would sit with him.

It's just he still couldn't understand how Kazutora grew up, and now looks like he is 18 years old, even though there is only a year gap between them. It is same for Izumi, who is only two years older than him, but she looks like she is fifteen.

"So, how are you doing, Hokage Advisor?" Mikoto said respectfully but her eyes were full of teasing and amusement. It was hard for her to believe when she heard the news about Kazutora becoming a member of her guards and advisor, but she understood that Tsunade did this to protect him.

But the thing that was much harder to believe is the rumor that Tsunade and Kazutora were in a relationship. Many people in the village said that they had seen Kazutora and Tsunade walking together hand in hand like couples.

The spies of other villages took the chance to defame Fifth Hokage, and spread nonsense about her behavior, but the rumors were suppressed as soon as they rose. Moreover, she asked Kazutora to walk around with her other women, and the people in the village got to know about the re-establishment of the Senju clan.

Most of the people in the village rejoiced and they were happy at the information. It is because Senju is like a big tree that protects the village and keeps it safe for them to live peacefully and happily.

The formation of a clan cannot be achieved by a man marrying one woman and having only one child. It was acknowledged that Kazutora would have to strive diligently in the future because re-establishing a clan with a single offspring is unfeasible.

Moreover, they held Tsunade in high esteem, who served not only as the Hokage of the village but also contributed significantly as a woman to the community.

When Tsunade spread the rumor, she received numerous proposals, all of which she ripped up and discarded. She made it clear that Kazutora is not a seed-producing factory and will only have children with the woman he loves.

Rather than condemning her words, the villagers stood by her and Kazutora. Although some suggested that Kazutora should father as many children as possible for the village's sake, their voices were quelled when Tsunade intervened, accompanied by a visit from the ANBU.

When people in the village started to disappear without any words from Tsunade, they knew their Hokage was angry, and the rumors stopped appearing in market from the next day.

Thinking of this, and hearing Mikoto's words, Kazutora just laughed and said, "You should know why Tsuna-Nee did this."

"Mm, but I don't think you need protection now, do you?" Mikoto said with a flicker in her eyes. Even though she didn't know how strong Kazutora was, she knew that Kazutora could use Flying Thunder God Technique, had Swift Release Kekkai Genkai, and was well versed in Fuinjutsu, Genjutsu and Iryojutsu.

"That's a different matter. Besides, Tsuna-Nee asks me to correct documents from time to time, and she has been teaching me about different ways to handle the village."

"Really? Hokage-Sama has already started to train you?" Mikoto asked and Kazutora nodded at her words. Hearing them, Itachi frowned and asked, "Can you become Hokage with words of previous Hokage? What about others then? The ones who dream of becoming Hokage."

Kazutora looked at Itachi and smiled at him. Mikoto frowned at his question, but she didn't say anything. She knew that becoming Hokage of the village was both difficult and easy.

"You are still a kid, Itachi. Don't you know that----"

Mikoto stopped before Kazutora could complete his words, and she said, "Shhh! Don't speak of this matter again or it will cause commotion in the village. Besides, Itachi also wants to become Hokage."

Kazutora looked at Mikoto first and then at Itachi. He shook his head and decided to not burst Itachi's bubbles about Hokage.

"I didn't expect that you want to become Hokage, Itachi. I thought you would register a new job as Bro-con and stay with Sasuke for your whole life."

Kazutora made a joke, prompting Mikoto to roll her eyes. Itachi's expression initially hardened, but the thought of Sasuke caused his features to relax, and he considered that it might not be such a bad idea after all.

"Izumi, why are you so silent?" Kazutora asked his girl beside him and Izumi woke up from the thoughts.

"Ah! Nothing, I was just lost in thoughts." Izumi said while shaking her head that she had been focusing on the musky and fishy smell from Kazutora.

She didn't know but she felt some anger and distaste in her heart, as if something important had been taken away.

"So, sister, did something happen?" Kazutora asked after making sure that Izumi was okay. Mikoto's expression changed at his words and then she sighed.

"You know about the Chunin Exam next month?"

"Mm, the five villages have decided to conduct the Chunin Exam in Konoha as a gesture of safety, but they must have some purpose," Kazutora said after thinking of the topic, and he had discussed this with Tsunade before.

"Fugaku wants to Itachi to participate in the exam, but I feel that something bad will happen in it, so I don't want him to participate." Mikoto said with a troubled look on her face.

"I hope that you can ask Hokage-Sama to reject his request and---"

"No, Mother."

Itachi chimed in between at her words and a two Tomoe Sharingan appeared in his eyes. He awakened Sharingan under the repetitive beatings given to him by Kazutora under the pretext of teaching, and Mikoto was grateful for this.

She was happy to know Itachi opened Sharingan without losing anyone, and Kazutora was also happy because Itachi had contradicted him on several occasions and because of his special position, he couldn't say things he wanted to.

So, Kazutora beat him until he lost consciousness under the pretext of teaching him, and then healed him before dropping him at his house.

"I want to participate in the Exam and become a Chunin."

Itachi said with a determined look on his face, and he remembered the words Shisui said before.

Even though the position of Uchiha had improved in the village, it was only because of external factors. There are still many people who are opposed to this, and not only people in the Clan but the Masked Man, who was the reason Nine Tails was free outside and roaming around.

Shisui said that they needed to take him back to the village and make him confess in front of the graves of all those who died in the incident and improve the reputation of Uchiha in the village and prove their status as Konoha's Police Force.

Shisui's words were like gospel for Itachi, and he felt that he had found a goal. So, Itachi wants to get stronger and make the Masked Man pay for his crimes.

Looking at Itachi, Mikoto felt a headache and Kazutora smiled at her. Mikoto's problem was already solved and Kazutora said, "No need to worry about this, Sister. I will be participating in the Exam with many of my classmates and I will take care of the situation."

"Me, Hina and Izumi's team have been prepared and its same for the Ino-Shika-Chou trio. Itachi can join with Kabuto and Shimi Aburame to form a new team and participate with us."

"Tsuna-Nee wants to use this occasion to show the majesty of Konoha and suppress all the thoughts the other villages can have. Even though they have stopped the attacks, Tsuna-Nee knows that they will take all the chances they can, and the peace treaty is just a piece of paper for everyone."

Listening to him, Mikoto's eyes shined, and a smile appeared on her face. Itachi felt unhappy as he looked at his mother smiling at Kazutora's words, but he wouldn't deny that he also had a sense of security by his words.

"Haha, then I don't have to worry about anything. It's good that Hokage-Sama has already thought of this. Still, I didn't expect that Hyuga clan would allow Hina to be with you."

"Heh," Kazutora snickered at her words and didn't explain much. Seeing his reaction, Mikoto knew that there was an inside story, but she didn't ask about this matter. Izumi's eyes flickered at her words, but she didn't say anything about Hina and how crazy she was.

The clone brought the snacks and Anko also came out of her room. Looking at Anko who sat in a weird position, Mikoto's eyes flickered, and she understood where the musky smell came from.

Some weird images appeared in her mind and Mikoto shook them out of her mind.

After they were done, Mikoto and Itachi took their leave with Izumi remaining at the house. Leaving the house, Mikoto thought of something and then she turned around.

"Next time when you have done the deed, be sure to use perfume to hide the smell. Others might feel uncomfortable because of the scent."

Mikoto whispered in Kazutora's ears, and his expression changed. A thought appeared in his mind, and he asked, "What about you, Sister Mikoto? Did you feel uncomfortable?"

Mikoto rolled her eyes at his words, and she flicked his forehead. The little brother of hers has a lot of strange thoughts and from the books he has written, she could more or less guess them.

As for feeling comfortable? Of course, she felt. But this kind of feeling was different from what she said. Mikoto felt her body getting hot because of his smell and the reason why she felt uncomfortable is because she is pent up and frustrated.

It's been years since Fugaku did something sexual with her, and because the relationship between village and clan got better, Fugaku focused more on clan than the house.

When he was free from the clan's responsibilities, Fugaku left the village to be at the borders, and get merit for the clan. Because of this, Fugaku gradually forgot about his duties as husband, and he spent most of the time outside.

Shaking those weird thoughts out of her mind, Mikoto looked at Kazutora and said, "This line of thinking isn't right, I can understand your liking attractive women, and I am thankful for this, but it's impossible between us."

Kazutora looked at Mikoto who looked serious, he felt weird by her words. A thoughtful look appeared on his face and Kazutora asked, "Sister, did I say something like this?"

Mikoto froze at his words, and she remembered that he didn't say anything like this.

"I just wanted to ask because it happened the first time," Kazutora asked with some amusement hidden in his eyes, and he really wasn't thinking about this matter. If Mikoto wasn't married, then he might have thought so but since she is married and has a family, Kazutora never thought of this.

Ultimately, he understood the significance of family and aimed to preserve it as much as possible, avoiding actions that could break or destroy familial bonds.

Still, he didn't expect Mikoto would think like this, and a moment later, he asked, "Sister, why would you think this? Did I do something that made you feel this way?"

Mikoto looked at the curious look on his face, and her face turned red in embarrassment. She wants to slap her past self for assuming everything on her own, and then a disappointed look appeared on her face.

"Though you are attractive, Sister, I am not a guy who would ruin families to go for everyone I find attractive. This is the same reason why I didn't accept many proposals I received in the Hospital and even berated them for these thoughts."

Mikoto looked down at his words, and a sense of shame rose in her heart. She didn't expect that she would do something stupid like this, and looking up, she saw some sadness and disappointment in his eyes.

"It seems you are tired, Sister Mikoto! Let's talk some days later, and you can take the time to calm yourself."

Saying this, Kazutora looked at Mikoto for a second and then walked back to his house. Mikoto looked at Kazutora walking back with a troubled look on her face and she turned around.

Her eyes turned scarlet with Three Tomoe spinning in them and Mikoto muttered, "If Fugaku doesn't answer my questions today, and listen to me, I will break his bones."

The three Tomoe in her eyes extended to match at the center, but they stopped spinning Mikoto couldn't awaken Mangekyo Sharingan. She felt some pain in her head, and with a frown on her face, she walked outside of Senju Estate and saw Itachi standing at the outer gate.

"Mother, did something happen?" Itachi asked with some concern evident in his voice as he looked at Mikoto holding her head, but Mikoto shook her head.

"It's nothing! Itachi, later meet Kabuto and another girl that Kazutora talked about and get used to fighting with them. The next chunin exam is going to be important and dangerous too. Even though Kazutora-Kun said that Hokage-Sama has prepared for it, mishaps could happen anytime, and you need to be prepared for them."

"Mm, I understand, Mother." Itachi nodded with a determined look on his face, and Mikoto rubbed his head. She gave a last glance to Senju Estate and then left with Itachi.
