43 Academy! II

After the entrance ceremony, Kazutora said goodbye to his group, and he went to his class. Entering the class, Kazutora looked at the protagonist's seat, but it was already taken by someone else.

He looked at the red stripes on the girl's face and he understood that she was Hana Inuzuka. Tsunade had provided him the list of students and he went and sat beside her.

Hana, who was staring outside from the window sensed someone appearing beside her. She looked at the white-haired boy with wide eyes and her mother had talked about him to her.

'Kazutora Senju, the one that Mom asked to maintain a good relationship after checking his behaviour.'

Hana thought in her mind, and she sniffed a pleasant and sweet smell. She moved a bit closer to him to see if it came from him, and Kazutora looked at her with a weird look on his face.

"You, what perfume do you use? I like this smell," Hana asked with a grin on her face, and Kazutora looked at her.

"I don't use perfumes," he said with a weird look on his face, and Hana frowned at her words. She stretched her hand to hold his wrist, and Kazutora let her do what she wanted. He knew that Inuzuka had a good sense of smell, and he wondered what she meant when she asked about smell.

"Mm, you are right. You don't use perfume, but it's your natural smell." Hana said as she let go of his hand, and her face turned red as she thought of her actions.

"So, how is my natural scent? I am curious about this," Kazutora asked, but Hana turned her red face and didn't answer his questions. He looked at her for a moment and seeing her red ear tips, an amused smile appeared on his face, and he looked ahead.

More and more kids had entered the room, and Kazutora looked at them. Beside him sat a Hyuga girl, who wore a strip on her forehead. On the seat in front of him sat Izumi, Itachi and another Hyuga boy. On the seat on his right sat the Ino-Shika-Chou group, and Kazutora rolled his eyes at their actions.

"Hello, I am Hina Hyuga,"

Kazutora heard the girl beside him speak, and he replied, "Hey, I am Kazutora Senju, nice to meet you."

"Mm, I have heard of you, nice to meet you too," Hina said and hearing them, Hana remembered that she hadn't introduced herself.

"Hana Inuzuka here, Kazutora." Hana said, and Kazutora nodded at her. He saw the other people appearing to gather at his seat, and Kazutora nodded at them one by one.

The door opened when with teacher entered the class and he looked at the kids gathered at the last seat.

"Everyone, sit on your seats." The Teacher said, and the kids went back to their seats.

"I am Daikoku Fumeno and I will be your teacher for this year. I like..... and now you all will introduce yourselves one by one."

Teacher Daikoku said, and he pointed at the guy sitting in the first seat. Kazutora looked at the scene with a bored look on his face and his neck hurt from nodding again and again.

Soon, his turn arrived and Kazutora stood at his seat.

"My name is Kazutora Senju. I like my family, sleep and laze around while I dislike crowds. My goal is to live a good life and become a good, and respectable man in future."

The room became silent as they had expected a different introduction from him. Daikoku nodded at the introduction and said, "Good! It isn't an easy goal, but I am sure that you will achieve it future. Next!"

Kazutora smiled at his words, and he sat down. Hina beside him stood up. She introduced herself, and her dream was to be free which made Kazutora look at the strip on her forehead.

"Don't you want to become Hokage?" Kazutora heard a whisper and he looked at Hana beside her. In front of him, Itachi perked his ear as his father and mother, both asked him to pay attention to him and become friends with him.

"Hokage? Nope. My sister said that only fools become Hokage and I am not a fool." Kazutora said with a shrug. He could feel that someone was keeping an eye on him, and he understood that it should be Hiruzen in the Hokage's office.

Tsunade had also left early, and Kazutora understood that she must have gone to the Hokage's office.

In the Hokage Office, Hiruzen stared at Tsunade, who turned away her head at Kazutora's words and her eye twitched. She knew that he had done this on purpose, and Hiruzen sighed at her.

"At least don't say it in front of children," Hiruzen said while rubbing his head, and Tsunade gritted her teeth at Kazutora.

Hana stared at Kazutora with a weird look on her face and she asked, "Who is your sister?"

"Tsunade-Nee, she is the one who said this," Kazutora said while suppressing the smirk on his face, and Hana opened her mouth with a dumbfounded expression on her face.

Itachi looked back with a frown on her face, and he didn't understand how someone could call Hokage of the village fool.

He turned back to look at Kazutora, and he saw him smiling at him.

"Hey Itachi, it's been quite some time. How is sister Mikoto doing?" Kazutora asked and Itachi blinked at his words. Hana looked at Itachi and Kazutora with a weird look on her face and she asked, "Mrs. Mikoto is his mother, right?"

Itachi nodded at her words and Hana asked, "Then, if he calls your mother 'sister', then, shouldn't you be his nephew?"

"Pfff!"

They heard the sound of laughing and saw it was Hina who laughed and then turned her head away.

"You all can continue," Hina said with her hand covering her face to hide her smile, and Izumi looked back with a weird look on her face.

"Kazutora, you call Aunt Mikoto 'sister'. You are messing with the seniority here."

Izumi said, and Kazutora rolled his eyes at her.

"She didn't object, and Sister Mikoto was the one who asked me to call her like this. Anyways, you aren't involved in this matter, so you don't need to worry about seniority."

"You are weird," Hana said, and Kazutora looked at her.

"Says the girl who sniffed my scent and said that she liked it," Kazutora replied back, and Hana turned her face with a blush on her face.

Looking at the scene in the crystal, Tsunade had a satisfied smile on her face and her intentions of sending Kazutora to the Hospital had paid off.

Hiruzen looked at the satisfied expression on her face and he asked, "Are you raising him to become a playboy?"

"What nonsense are you saying, Old man! He will be responsible for everyone in future." Tsunade said with a frown on her face, and Hiruzen looked at the scene with some envy in his eyes.

"Old man, do you want me to send you some medicine? Just make sure that you won't die in the process."

"Cough! Cough! What nonsense are you saying!" Hiruzen shouted and Tsunade rolled her eyes at him. She walked towards the wall and removed his portrait. Behind the portrait, she looked at the small compartment and before she could look more, Hiruzen stopped her.

"Heh," Tsunade snickered at Hiruzen, and before he could move, she took away his crystal ball and disappeared from the room. Hiruzen looked at the door with a gloomy look on his face and he understood that she was after it from the start.

"I will ask Jiraiya to send another one from Mt. Myobokku," Hiruzen muttered while shaking his head, he sat down in his seat and checked the documents.

In the classroom, after everyone had introduced themselves, Daikoku looked at everyone in the class and said, "Today is the first day, and we won't be studying today."

"You all can talk among yourselves but stay at your seat and talk slowly. Know about your classmates and seatmates as you will be studying with them for the whole year."

Kazutora raised his brows at his words and he didn't expect the Teacher would ask the students in class to talk freely.

"How can you call Hokage Sama fool?"

Kazutora heard the voice and saw it was Itachi who asked the question. He looked at him for a moment and said, "It's not me who called him fool, but my sister. You can come to my house, and I will let you ask her the question."

Itachi became silent at words and then he asked, "Then, do you agree with her?"

Hana, Hina, Izumi, and Kyo looked at Kazutora for his answer, and Kazutora smiled at his question.

"Does it matter? If I think of him as a fool, then what? And if I don't think of him as a fool, then what?"

Itachi narrowed his eyes at Kazutora's words and said, "It's because of Hokage-Sama that the village is safe. During the Nine-Tails incident, the Fourth Hokage and his wife sacrificed their life to defeat the Nine-Tails and save the village."

"You should show some respect to Hokage."

Kazutora narrowed his eyes at Itachi's words and the atmosphere in the two seats changed.

"Respect, huh! Let's talk about this later. You said that it's because of Hokage that the village is safe. Your four, do you agree with his words?"

Kazutora asked the four people around him, and they looked at him with thoughtful looks on their faces.

"I don't fully agree with him," Hana answered first and the answer was the same for the other three.

"So, what do you think, Itachi? Why do they not fully agree with your words? What's wrong with your words? Think of it first, and then I will answer your questions."

Itachi frowned as he looked at others and he started to think. Kazutora looked at Itachi and then at Hina and Kyo.

"Can you feel the difference between you and him?" He asked them, and the two just snorted and didn't say anything.

"What about you, Hana? Do you feel it?"

Hana looked at Itachi and said, "He only thinks of Hokage, doesn't he?"

"Mm, you are right. In your opinion, is it correct?"

Hana didn't answer the question, but this time, Hina answered, "Even though I don't like a few in my clan, I don't deny it. He doesn't think of anything of his clan even if he has a better position than mine."

Hina had some envy in her voice and she knew that if she was the heiress of the clan, the accursed symbol wouldn't be on her forehead.

Itachi looked at them with a frown on his face and he asked, "What do you mean?"

"She means that you are forgetting that you are Itachi Uchiha. You said that the village is safe because of Hokage, but it's not fully correct. Many people in the village work together to keep the village safe."

"If one day Hokage disappears, there might be chaos in the village, but it won't disappear. On the other hand, if the people of the village disappeared, then the village would disappear even if Hokage was there."

Kazutora said and Itachi looked at him with a weird look on his face.

"Tsk! Only you have the right to say this openly," Kyo said while clicking his tongue, and Kazutora saw everyone in the class staring at him. He raised his brows at them and asked, "Do you disagree with what I said?"

"Yawn! It's incomplete. If Hokage disappears from the village, the village might fall apart. Hokage keeps the village together, so you can't say that village won't disappear."

Kazutora looked at Shikakuro, who answered the question, and he said, "Mm, you are correct in your words. For a large group of people, a leader is required, or the group would fall apart. But, if the group has systematic training, they can function without a leader."

"We, Ninjas are given systematic training so it won't be wrong to say that we can function without a leader, but it would be bad in the long term as decision-making time would be lengthened and conflicts will arise due to human nature."

Shikakuro looked at Kazutora for a second and said, "Human nature, hmm! That's something difficult to judge, but you are right. The village, people and Hokage are co-dependent on each other and if any one of them has problems, the two would suffer."

Kazutora nodded at his words and both of them didn't say anything more. Now, everyone in class stared at two of them, and Teacher Daikoku looked at them with a smile on his face.

"You all continue the discussion and ask questions that you have. Staying silent won't do anything, and it wouldn't matter if the question is stupid or anything."
