39 Chapter-39 : Chunin Exams

"Good, you guys are ready of the Chunin exams" Hiro said as he looked at the three youngsters and one dog panting in front of him with sweat covering their bodies.

They were Hinata, Shino Aburame, Kiba Inuzuka along with his chakra beast companion, Akamaru, the Team 8 of Konoha special class.

"You guys did well, take some rest while we discuss a few things" Kurenai, who was standing besides Hiro said as she looked at her three students with a smile on her face.

She herself didn't knew that had come so far in in their strength, untill Hiro had suggested a 4 day crash course of handling extreme pressure as a team to her.

She was especially impressed with the strength and temperament that Hinata showed. She was no longer her timid self that was worried of hurting people.

She may still be shy, but her confidence in her skills was much better than it was ever before.

Both Hiro and Her had put her team through a rigorous stress test that Hiro had devised. 

"Looks like you're satisfied with their performance" Hiro said as he looked at Kurenai's smiling visage.

"Satisfied? I'm deeply impressed, even I didn't know that they had advanced so quickly, it's all thanks to you" Kurenai. 

"Oh come on, give yourself some credit, you're their Jonin Instructor after all" Hiro said while laughing a bit as he moved on to much serious talks.

"So, have you prepared for the mission?"

"Yes, I have ordered a few things and they'll be with me by noon, so we can leave in the evening at the latest" Kurenai said.

"So, what happened with Guy san?" Kurenai asked Hiro.

"Well, due to some circumstances, he had to leave for Suna pretty early, don't worry tho, he'll meet us at the rendezvous point after completing his task" Hiro replied.

Guy had to leave because there had been repeated sightings of Akatsuki on the border of land of fire and wind.

It was suspected that there had to be an Akatsuki base in the region.

Guy, along with Kakashi and a team of elite Jonin hunter nins had been dispatched early to look for clues.

Regardless, of their success in finding the base, Guy was to reach Suna at the decided time while others would come back after a week of reconnaissance.

'It seems that Tsunade is showing her trust in me with letting me know such classified information' Hiro thought as he continued walking along with Kurenai.

Kurenai on the other hand had something entirely different going on in her mind.

'Does that mean we'll have to travel all the way to Suna alone?' She thought as she could feel her face heat up a bit.

The notion of spending time alone with Hiro looked pretty lucrative to her.

"Well... thats ok I guess, as long as he meets us for the mission before the given time, its all okay" Kurenai said while getting a butterfly on the inside. 

"Yeah, lets disperse the gang and have some breakfast, we'll be leaving after phase one ends" Hiro said as he then dispersed the team after saying some words of encouragement and appreciation.

The Chunin exam was scheduled to start in the noon as Hiro went ahead to scout out the participants after having his breakfast. 

Since he was currently the best sensor available, Tsunade had bestowed the task of vetting each participant so that an incident such as last time would not happen where Orochimaru infiltrated Konoha under the guise of a team member.

As such, Hiro now sat by the registration desk, covering his face up with a mask as he scanned each participant with just a look.

There were some peculiar ones but no one that was too out of the ordinary. 

Since Hiro was sitting down with a disguise on, nobody recognized him, making things quiet and peaceful as Hiro continued filling the report file.

Just as the timing for the registration was about to end, Hiro sensed tingling sensation on his chakra sense as he immediately focused onto the signature. 

In his vision, three people appeared, all wearing Takigakure's Genin badges.

Two of them wore standard issue shinobi uniforms and looked like to be suppressing their chakra to Chunin level with the use of seals.

But it wasn't these two that Hiro was worried about, it was their third partner.

A petite, tanned skin Kunoichi with one of a kind short, mint green colored hair.

As soon as Hiro laid his eyes upon her, he realized who it was.

'Fū, jinchuriki of the seven tails, Chomei !!!' 

As Hiro saw them come closer to the registration desk, he gave her a deeper look. 

Despite her appearance, Hiro could feel the subtle pressure of her chakra signature, as he focused his senses beyond the chakra suppression seal that was applied on her, He couldn't help but be shocked as his body tensed up a bit.

She almost possessed more chakra than him!

'What the fuck kind of cheat is this?' Hiro thought, if not for the quality and Density of her chakra being abysmal, Hiro would have tried to contact the GM's to report a cheat.

Hiro had worked day and night, had consumed a ton of pills and had to expend a huge amount of resources to bring his chakra level to what it was today.

And now appears a character that wasn't even the main cast of the show having more chakra while barely even coming out of her teens.

'Must be the Jinchuriki effect, they always possess abnormally huge amounts of chakra' Hiro thought as he remembered the feeling of seeing Naruto for the first time. Little shit had more chakra than an elite Jonin during the last Chunin exams.

'Still, no use sulking' as Hiro remembered that even with such cheats of being the Jinchuriki of seven tails, Fū had died at the hands of Akatsuki.

'I'll need to tread carefully, maybe call some backup while I'm at it' Hiro thought as he saw her team give their papers to the Chunin that was checking everything and move on.

Soon, Hiro's work at the entrance was completed as he moved to a discrete location as he took out a scroll and started writing something on it.
