25 Chapter-25 : Love Triangle

Hiro stood outside the Konoha General Hospital with a bouquet of flowers in his one hand while a basket of fruits in his other.

He made his way through the long and mostly silent corridors of the hospital as he made his way towards the special recovery wards where each patient had a single room to themselves. 

It had been a week since he had returned from that mission.

He gave a nod to the old nurse sitting outside the room Kurenai was in as he took his sandal off and went inside.

"So, how are you doing now, huh?" Hiro said with a bright expression as he looked at Kurenai who was sitting bored with a novel in her hands.

"Hiro! You're back" her mood brightened up instantly as she saw him coming towards her with a bouquet of beautiful lilies and orchids.

Hiro, sat on the wooden stool beside her bed as he handed her the flowers whom she quickly snatched and took a deep breath out of.

"They're fresh" She said.

"As always" Hiro replied, looking at her.

Although all her physical injuries were healed by best doctors and most of the traumatic memories being sealed by the Yamanaka clan head, her health was not at peak yet.

She had been in a depressed and down phase ever since, not wanting to meet anyone else other than those that were extremely close to her, unfortunately for a certain Sarutobi Asuma, he was not considered too close.

Rather, it was Hiro who came everyday with flowers, fruits and different books for her to read.

Though she did not respond much to him initially, his positive energy soon rubbed onto her as he was successful in uplifting her mood.

"So, how's the little rabbit doing today?" Hiro said as he kept the basket of fruits aside on the table.

"I've told you!! Don't call me that, it's embarrassing, I trusted you with that information!!" Kurenai said in embarrassment and sweet anger at the same time.

Hiro smiled at her antics as he said "Well, I couldn't resist, how about a gift as a sorry?"

"What gift?..." 

Hiro silently took out a box of Takoyaki and a small 200 mL vodka bottle.

"Is that...!!" Kurenai said with her eyes widening as Hiro suddenly covered her mouth with his hands.

"Shhhh.... Don't speak too loud, if the nurse catches me bringing these to you, I'll be in trouble" Hiro said looking towards the door.

"Thank you soo much" Kurenai said in a hush voice as she tried hug Hiro from her bed but couldn't get up due to her injuries and instead looked like a baby asking to be carried by her parents.

She then proceeded to demolish the Takoyaki within minutes while gulping down the Vodka in a few gulps.

"That hits the spot....." Kurenai said as she laid back on her inclined bed as Hiro looked at her with an expression unknown.

Soon, they both started talking amongst themselves as Hiro quickly disposed of the evidence that he bought anything other than fruits and flowers here. 

"And that was when Guy said 'You all are getting paid?', it was a sight to see" Hiro recited a story from a few months back as he put up his best impression of Guy.

But just as Kurenai was about to say something, the door of the room opened.

"So, you guys having fun without me" a voice came from the door that just opened as a women of slender frame entered the room.

"Anko, you're finally back!" Hiro said as he gave a smile to Anko, waving at her.

"Anko!!" Kurenai said in excitement, as Anko came up to her and gave her a hug.

"I knew you would be fine" Anko said with a smile as she came towards the side Hiro was standing on.

"Well, its a given, it was Hiro who went to rescue you after all" Anko said as she turned and looked up a little to face Hiro.

She stood on the tip of her toes as she tried to reach his face.

Hiro, who knew what was up, leaned down a bit as he gave a small kiss onto Anko's lips.

Hiro gave her body a quick squeeze as he calmed her down "Not here, okay?", he said in a hush voice, 

"Oh, Kurenai, this is the guy I had been talking about to you guys lately" Anko said as she turned around with a mischievous smile on her face and introduced him to her.

"Oh, so HE's the one you were talking about....." Kurenai said, with a barely audible dullness in her voice. 

Hiro, who sensed the change in her voice, looked at Anko with a smile as he then looked at the system window and its progress bar.

He had gotten this mission to make her fall in love a couple days later he started visiting her.

It was the first time where the system did not require a degenerate action to give helty rewards.

'Is the system finally turning for the good?'

'Nope, its still the same' Hiro thought.

The rewards for rizzing Kurenai up were truly astonishing.

Fire Cherries were a relatively High level and potent ingredient that was in high demand all over the world, not only for their fire nature enhancing Abilities but also its ability to increase libido in men, effectively acting as natural Viagra.

It was one of the only things that even normal humans could eat despite it being a high level herb, and such it was quite rare to come by it, they were sold for quite the amount each time they appeared in the market.

Even the Daimyo was a frequent buyer of it.

Those hundred seeds could develop into at least 80 trees with fruit bearing capacity in just a year under Karin's expertise. 

Ripple Blossom Trees were even better, these trees acted as natural arrays for attracting chakra in a region while generating a lot of chakra themselves.

Planting just one can increase chakra density in an area by twice, and as it grows and matures, it produces a lot chakra itself and enriches the nature around itself.

It truly was a marvel of nature, Hiro had been looking for these for a long time since Karin introduced them to him.

Planting 10 of them around his herb garden not only would make it look better, but also make its output much better and take a lot of strain off of Karin.

A mature Ripple Blossom could generate a Jonin level capacity of chakra in 5 hours, while keeping it around itself. 10 of them planted close could turn the atmosphere much dense in chakra more, not to mention all this chakra wont run away due to its attraction property.

It truly will become a 'cultivation' heaven when they all are planted.
