12 Corruption begins[New Chapter]

(Naruto's 3rd PoV) 

"*sniff*, I got this great idea, and I was sure that it would have worked. You know, I wrote the rumours against those who bullied us and spreaded it near the orphanage. Like that orange haired girl, Shinohara being the actual kitsune, and she put these marks on you so that she can be safe while she grows in power. 

B-but nothing happened! All the paper I left at the orphanage was gone! Even the Hokage didn't help me... Uwaaah!"

"Shh! There there, Shiori-chan! No need to cry, dattebayo! I am super happy that you are helping me, but you don't need to. I am not bothered by people avoiding me, dattebayo!" 

Naruto said with a sunny smile, trying to calm down the crying Shiori. He didn't know what it was to be truly cared for until now, but he had a fuzzy feeling in his heart now. And he didn't know what to call it. 

"Waaaaah!"

But Shiori-chan kept crying while burying her head in the pillow. 

'What would Shiori-chan like...'

Naruto looked around her room, and found two dolls and a picture book that he has seen her reading sometimes in the orphanage. She was the most popular kid in the orphanage, and the matron didn't let him come close to her, saying stuff like he will taint her or something. 

He opened the picture book, and hurriedly read through the story. In it, the princess was crying after being surrounded by enemy ninjas. But the hero ninja arrived on time, saved her, they kissed, and got married. 

The hero ninja had blonde hair and blue eyes, and his name was Minato. 

'He is so cool!' 

"Waaaah!" 

'Oops!' 

Naruto got so engrossed in the cool ninja that he momentarily forgot about the crying Shiori-chan. The crying princess. 

Naruto put on Shiori-chan's hanky like a hero's cape, and appeared before her. 

"No fear princess! I will save you, dattebayo!" 

"*hic*, dattebayo is not cool..." 

Shiori-chan muttered that, but Naruto heard it, since he naturally had better senses than average people. 

'Alright... I won't say Dattebayo. I am a cool ninja!' 

"Here, wipe you traes, princess." 

Naruto said gentlemanly as he gave her his cape(her hanky) to wipe her tears. 

"*hic* its "your" and "tears"."

Shiori wiped her tears, and hugged Naruto tightly. 

"Don't worry about others, my Naruto. I will make you a great ninja, and I will become your princess, okay. I will make sure that nobody will bully you, bully us."

"Heh. Others don't bother me, Shiori-chan! So you shouldn't cry!" 

Naruto put a brave front, but he was sure that he was bothered by how other people treated him. The matron didn't let him to even come close to Shiori-chan. 

But Shiori-chan is with him now. And the matron lady was evil. 

So, whoever tries to separate Shiori-chan from him is evil, right? 

"No matter what, I will never let you feelhurt by those mongreals, my cool ninja. It is my promise, as your princess." 

Shiori-chan looked at him in the eyes, and she looked absolutely determined. 

"Then I will become the coolest ninja for you, Datte-, the coolest ninja, Shiori-chan!" 

Naruto felt something weird in his heard as he saw Shiori-chan's wide smile. It was more beautiful than the moon he saw in the night while hunting for fish in the jungle. It was more beautiful than the fire he saw the ninja starting and leaving, on which he cooked his fish. 

Right now, Naruto was feeling more full than that fish he ate, which that old man Hokage taught him to roast. 

*GROWWWWWWWWWWL*

'Ah! No! Shiori-chan won't find me cool this way!' 

But instead of what Naruto feared, Shiori giggled cutely. 

"Hehehe~ You are so cute~. Wash your hands with the handwash, and come to the dining table. I have made Omurice today."

Shiori-chan left to the kitchen while giggling, and leaving Naruto stunned. 

'She likes me cute?' 

And so, the corruption of an innocent kid with the potential to beat everyone on the planet has started.
