51 Chapter 51: Big white snake

Odens Rasenyari went through the three first summoned Gates and almost destroyed the fourth one.

Orochimaru felt a drop of sweat run down his snake face, he felt that he almost died. The four summoned gates barely saved him.

As Orochimaru jumped on top of his last gate, he was about to engage Oden in another dialogue, yet he could barely speak before he noticed another Rasenyari just in front of him.

Oden didn't feel like playing anymore as he had gained more experience in taijutsu in their hour-long fight, so he threw another Rasenyari infused with fire and wind elements.

Yet what happened next surprised him.

He saw his Rasenyari create a huge explosion and the result of that was that there was lots of smoke.

As the smoke resided he found a gigantic white snake with eight heads and eight tails.

It was even bigger than Manda the snake summon, and its chakra was comparable to the one-tailed beast.

Oden felt surprised for the first time... Sure he had never seen Tsunade and Jiraiya fight seriously, but he didn't think that the three sannin were this strong.

He felt like Orochimaru might be able to fight on equal terms with the Raikage.

'Are the other Sannin this strong as well?' Oden thought in wonder as he stared at the gigantic snake.

"I didn't want to show my cards tssss but you forced my tails" Orochimaru said in a voice that shook the Forrest.

It was at this moment that Oden felt dissatisfied that he didn't have a giant summons to act cool as well.

'It seems like his good techniques are reliant on snake arts and aren't compatible with me.' Oden thought slightly disappointed as he could feel a different kind of energy inside the giant snake, which he assumed was senjutsu.

Orochimaru used one of his tails to hit Oden, but before it could land Oden teleported away.

The tail landed on the Forrest and destroyed a huge part of it, creating huge earthquakes.

Oden noticed the physical strength of the giant snake so he appeared a bit further away and then made hand signs.

"Five elements: Heaven and hell dome" Oden shouted as he released one of the biggest domes he had created so far, one so big it completely swallowed up Orochimaru.

Oden held his hand sign and kept infusing the chakra to his heaven and hell dome, as he felt Orochimaru fight back.

He kept holding the jutsu, as inside the dome, spikes of hardened stones kept piercing toward Orochimaru, winds and water cutting him up, flames grilling and lightning striking him.

Orochimaru was under a lot of pain and stress, even with his regeneration, he felt like this was one of the worst attacks he had to endure so far.

This kept going for a quarter of an hour before Oden felt Orochimaru's attacks becoming weaker inside the dome.

Oden released his hand sign and created another Rasenyari infused with lightning.

After a while, Orochimaru finally broke out of the dome, and before he could react, he felt a spinning force of chakra and lightning pierce one of his throats, completely cutting one of the heads off.

Oden hurriedly threw another 7 vanishing Rasenyaris before Orochimaru could make sense of what had happened.

In the end, 6 of the 8 heads had been cut off.

Orochimaru might not show it, but he was dangerously exhausted, this was his strongest form and he couldn't keep it for long, especially not when he had to exert himself inside the dome, so he felt like he would faint soon.

Oden summoned Enma in his staff form, and hurriedly swung the staff towards one of the remaining heads as the staff grew hundreds of meters long.

Orochimaru had become slightly sluggish in his exhaustion and was hit so hard that his head exploded.

With only one head left, Orochimaru's snake body finally fell down, creating an earthquake.

Oden looked at Orochimaru, and finally felt a hint of respect toward him... he felt like Orochimaru was really in the league as a kage, one in the mid-high tier.

Orochimaru's real body came out of the snake's mouth and he tried to stand up but he seemed really tired.

"Not bad." Oden simply stated as he couldn't help but to feel a burning restlessness to fight either Madara or Hashirama, wanting to see what their level was at.

Although Orochimaru hadn't been as pushed as when he fought Kumo, he still was happy with today's fight. He had gained lots of experience in taijutsu.

"Sadly, I can't spare you... If only you had a jutsu to exchange for your life" Oden said in pity as he walked towards the barely standing Orochimaru.

Orochimaru suddenly turned into many small snakes and was about to slinger into the ground... but he couldn't as the ground became as hard as stone.

"You think I'll allow for your escape this time?" Oden asked with a sneer.

"I have a jutsu I think you'd like... It'll make you hard to catch as long as you have chakra to spare." Orochimaru tried to convince Oden, but this time he felt slight fear.

He did have a plan B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, V, U, W, X, Y and plan Z in case he died for real.

Yet it depended on Kabuto for him to come back to life successfully, and Orochimaru couldn't trust his underling fully. And even then, the cost of those jutsus were costly.

Therefore he felt some fear right now as Oden walked toward him with a predatory smile on his face.

"Oh, a jutsu?..." Oden said as he came closer.

"It makes you one with the ground, impossible to detect or harm, the only downside is that it uses lots of chakra which should be no problem for you." Orochimaru spoke, trying to convince Oden.

"It's useless, I never turn from a fight, I will never have a scar on my backside. but on second thought." Oden said as his smile disappeared and his face became emotionless.

Orochimaru felt fear for the first time, he felt like death was nearing him as he looked into Oden's eyes. The next thing he saw was that Oden teleported in front of him with one hand through his throat.

"It was fun to fight you, sadly, even if you couldn't bring me to the zenith of battles, also, it wouldn't have mattered what jutsu you offered, I would have killed you anyway. Ever since I first met you, I wanted to see the pathetic look on your face as I rip you apart." Oden said in a whisper as the light in Orochimaru's eyes died out.

Oden retreated his hand and there was a gaping hole in Orochimaru's throat.

"But your regenerating capabilities were impressive, too bad I can't use that." Oden said with a sigh.

Oden turned dark in the last moments of Orochimaru's life. He did it intentionally to leave a scar inside Ororchimarus's heart as Oden knew that sooner or later this snake would return to life.

Voldesnake refuses to die, so Oden felt like if he really does come back to life, it's better if he has an Odenphobia. That way he'll keep far away from Oden and won't get in his way.

"Hopefully even if you come back to life, you'll keep far away from me." Oden said as he looked at Orochimaru's body.

He then sealed Orochimaru's dead body and tried to feel Kabuto's and Sasuke's chakra signatures but he couldn't find them as they were long gone.

Oden turned around and hurried back to Konoha, feeling accomplished that he finally killed the snake, although he wasn't sure it was for good, at least for a good while, the snake wouldn't be around.

"Hopefully it will be for good." Oden said in a whisper as he looked at the scroll in his hand.

It didn't take long for him to catch up to the Konoha genin and chunin that were returning to Konoha.

"You guys are slow.... maybe I should ask the Hokage to demote you to academy students again?" Oden said in a mocking tone as he arrived behind them
