Chapter 38: Tsunade shows her might

A huge fire, the size of a chakra beast flew towards Tsuande.

Tsunade wasn't slow, she responded by making hand seals and then spitting out a huge waterfall from her mouth, that devoured the whole fire.

Oden saw his fire disappearing and then a huge waterfall coming towards him so made another hand sign and then slapped his hands together creating a huge wind vortex that flew toward the waterfall.

The huge waterfall and wind vortex came together, canceling each other. The Huge waterfall had exploded into the sky, the result of that is that it started raining, even though it was a clear sky.

Oden and Tsuande just stood 50 meters apart and looked at each other. Tsunade was surprised by his ninjutsu, and Oden was surprised by her ninjutsu.

The fact that Oden could spout such huge, high-ranked ninjutsu that easily showed that he was kage level.

She knew about his Dojutsu, yet it didn't matter as, even if he had infinite chakra, if he can't easily create S-rank jutsus, and fast enough, he'd be killed by any elite Jonin.

but his hand signs, chakra control, and ninjutsu were all great, which shocked Tsunade.

And for Oden, he didn't know that Tsuande was so great with ninjutsu as well. Her chakra control was no less than his own and her hand signs were just slightly slower than his, yet fast enough to respond with S-rank jutsus instantly.

Oden started making two individual hand signs on each hand, before putting each finger in front of his mouth and blowing, resulting in A great fire and water spewing from his mouth, creating a hot most that flew toward Tsunade.

When Tsuande saw the hand signs on his hands, she was shocked that he could not only make A-tank jutsu with one hand but could do two simultaneously on each hand, using different element jutsus.

She had never seen such great use of ninjutsu, not even by her own teacher.

Hiruzen could use all elemental Jutsus as if he was born doing them, as for her, she was proficient in water, earth, and wind Jutsus.

She made another hand sign and then punched forward creating a wind fist that flew toward the most, making it dissipate.

Seeing how good she was at ninjutsu, Oden started running towards her while equipping the staff that was on his back.

As they neared each other oden jumped up and swung the staff toward her.

Tsuande saw his attack coming and simply punched up using her famed technique.

And just as her fist was about to punch the staff, Oden, still in the air, spun his body which changed the trajectory of the staff. As he spun, the staff gained momentum and hit her ribs as she had punched forwards.

The staff hit her so hard she flew 40 meters right through the Forrest.

Oden walked towards her.

Tsunade slowly stood up, looking pleased.

"For a brat, you're not half bad." She said, somehow very happy that he was strong.

"For an old hag, you're not half bad." Oden responded stoically as he walked towards her.

Tsunade stomped the ground creating a small earthquake and creating a rift in the ground that was going toward Oden.

Oden Jumped up in response, and Tsuande as if waiting for him to do that, pushed herself from the ground towards him, at such a speed that she almost instantly appeared in front of Oden, and punched him.

She was so fast that Oden's eyes could barely keep up, but his senses could and he felt her coming. Using his KiMakoSo to create a chakra membrane once again, and when her fist met his head, the chakra membrane condemned becoming a dark shade of blue, protecting his head.

Yet the force was so great that he flew straight down, creating a crater in the ground.

Oden was surprised by her speed once again.

Her speed and Orochimaru's speed were different.

Orochimaru had lots of agility which resulted in great speed.

And Tsunade had great power, resulting in great speed.

Punching Orochimaru was like punching wind, and Tsuande was like a bullet coming straight for you.

Their speed was both fast but different in nature.

She used her great strength to push herself forward.

The next thing he knew was that Tsuande had flashed towards him like a cannon, right before she could hit him, she changed her movement giving him a hard kick.

Oden had tried to counter her punch but wasn't ready for her kick.

"THUD" is how it sounded as a big tree caught him.

He held his stomach, where Tsunade had kicked him, in pain.

Then he flashed toward her and fought with her in hand-to-hand combat.

They exchanged moves for a good while, leaving a big chunk of the Forrest devastated.

She was fast, precise, and shot her fists like bullets.

Luckily her movement didn't have the same fluidity as Orochimaru's.

In the end, both punched each other and both of them flew backwards.

"If only you were younger, I'd marry you." Oden said as he admired her strength.

"Ho ho ho... Who said I'd marry you?" Tsunade said teasingly, but she understood that he was mostly admiring her strength.

"Then let's dance!" Oden said with a grin as he flew toward her, chakra started spinning around his palm, becoming a great, spiraling chakra spear, the RasenYari!

Tsuande also smiled and flew towards him, her fist meeting his Rasenyari.

As they met, a big explosion happened between them sending both far away.

As Oden tried to stabilize himself, he found that his fist was broken, and a few of his fingers were turned the wrong way.

Oden looked up, and raised his other hand, making signs.

"KontonSora" He whispered as huge amounts of chakra were released by his technique.

The sky started shaking as spiraling wind flames started taking the form of meteorites in the sky like flaming stars.

These flaming meteorites are made of burning wind, as oxygen makes flames stronger Oden used the wind chakra to strengthen the flame Jutsus.

The flames suddenly all started falling towards Tsunade.

In Konoha, all the shinobi felt the sky become filled with chakra as if ninetails had been released. the chakra was so heavy it felt like the air had turned hot.

Everyone including the civilians started turning their heads towards the sky as they saw it become red.

In the sky were hundreds, maybe thousands of flaming balls of fire, all starting to fall toward what seemed to be Konoha.

Panic started overtaking everyone until they noticed that it wasn't falling towards Konoha, instead, the flaming meteorites fell towards the Forrest of death. many sighed in relief and many were still worried that they might be under attack.

Tsunade had looked at her arms after she punched Oden's rasenyari, her whole arm was cut up very badly, and she could barely use her hand as it was bloody to the point of not being able to see the color of her skin because of the blood.

Suddenly her pupils constricted as she felt a huge amount of chakra becoming released.

She looked up and saw something horrifying.

She instantly reacted and started making hand signs with her hand that was fine.

She started spitting out a huge most which overtook the complete Forrest of death.

Then she readied her good arm for a punch, and as she did that, all the most started rushing towards her fist, creating a huge gauntlet of water, as big as the tail of a tailed beast.

Then she waited until all the falling balls of flames were close enough.

Just as they reached a hundred meters away, she punched straight up, shouting a huge water gauntlet towards the sky, swallowing all the falling flames.

The water gauntlet and flame balls created a huge explosion in the sky. The explosion sent shockwaves into the sky that reached the borders of the land of fire.

Most flames were extinguished by the huge water gauntlet, yet two survived and continued falling toward the exhausted Tsuande.
