Chapter 2: New Clan Head!

Seeing how things were spiraling out of control, The Third Hokage coughed to get the attention back to himself.

"Oden-Kun.." The third Hokage spoke gently as if he was speaking to his grandchild.

Oden retreated his aura and his sclera turned back to his normal white color.

When he activates the Mugengan, he gets infinite amounts of chakra, so he is only released enough to threaten the people in this room and nothing more.

And it worked, everyone realized that the 15-year-old had an aura that could rival most kages.

"Sorry about that, I just thought that we should base our respect on abilities and not age," Oden said kindly. Without his aura, he seemed like a kind, normal youth.

"As you see, Oden Zaraki has taken the position as clan head... and he will be treated as such from now on." The third Hokage commanded.

"Yes Hokage-Sama!" almost everyone said simultaneously, accepting the command.

"Hokage-Sama, how did the former Patriarch Butsuma-sama die?" The Hyuga Clan head couldn't contain his curiosity, after all, he had many meetings with Butsuma.

They had developed mutual respect between themselves, Not enough to call each other friends. But certainly more than enough to trust each other's values and principles.

"He was attacked and killed during one of his business trips in the land of tea, we received information that he was killed by bounty hunters for the price of his head. But my anbu investigated and found that the information doesn't add up." Hokage explained.

"Have we found any more information?" The Hyuga clan leader asked.

"Sadly no, whoever did this knew what they were doing, they erased whatever traces were left." The Jonin commander Shikaku Nara Spoke.

Everyone looked at Oden as if to give their condolences.

"This is the life of a shinobi, we risk our chance to see tomorrow, so we can give a guaranteed tomorrow to others." Oden simply spoke.

"Hmm, wise words" Shikaku mumbled.

"Hokage-Sama let's move on from this matter now that everyone is aware of my position. After all, no one in this room has any say regarding the private matters of MY clan. What did you call us for?" Oden spoke with determination, trying to change the subject.

Even though Butsuma was Oden's father, he was cold and aloof, and rarely showed affection towards Oden, but even then, Butsuma was Oden's father that raised him, fed him, and thought him, so his death did have an impact on Oden even though he doesn't show it.

The Hyuga clan leader, Hiashi, looked at Oden and felt that he was very pleasing to the eye... Unbeknownst to anyone else, Butsuma and him had betrothed Oden and Hinata.

Usually, this wasn't allowed in the Hyuga clan, as they couldn't allow their Dojutsu to fall into other clans, however, the Zaraki clan was different because of their history, so an exception was made this time.

Sadly Butsuma had not told Oden about his marriage to Hinata. Oden was very obedient to his father, so Butsuma didn't feel the need to inform him as Oden would just accept.

Hiashi was left unsure how to bring up this matter to Oden.

"The seniors of the academy will soon become genin... and as you know, this year's graduating students are a bit special." The Hokage said as he changed the subject.

"Oden-san, This is an S-rank secret that no one else can know about, it's about the death of the fourth Hokage!" Shikaku said, trying to bring Oden up to date.

"Yes, he sealed the nine-tailed fox inside his newborn child, and that child is graduating soon, anything else I need to know?" Oden asked nonchalantly

Everyone was startled by the fact that he knew everything already.

The first thought that struck them was that his father had already told him, which wouldn't be good because that would technically fall into treason.

"Oden-kun, it's best if you don't speak another word of this matter," Hokage told Oden with good intentions.

"It wasn't my father that told me." Oden explained so they wouldn't get the wrong idea.

"Then how?" Shikaku couldn't help but ask.

"Are you really asking that? You only have to have a drop of a brain to realize this fact.

First of all, everyone has chased, bullied, and prosecuted an innocent child by the name of Naruto, calling him the demon fox, in fact, the villagers don't know the child by his name Naruto, they know him by the title of demon fox reincarnate." Oden said while observing everyone's facial expressions.

"Second of all, he was born on the same date as the demon, and fourth Hokage died.

Third of all, there is a face on the mountain that looks like an older version of Naruto, Are there other hints as well, do I need to speak them?" Oden spoke impatiently, feeling that they were stupid for not understanding how obvious everything was.

Everyone was left aghast.

"Yes, indeed, there are many truths that are easily found by the keen mind, yet allude to the mind of the majority," Hokage said with a smile.

"They are called Jinchuriki, those who have chakra beasts sealed in them. And they are considered secret weapons of a village and must be handled delicately." Shikaku said expressionlessly.

"I was thinking of putting him and the last Uchiha in the same team under Kakashi Hatake." The Hokage said with a smile.

"As for the rest of the teams, I'm willing to listen to your opinions since most of this generation is your children." The Hokage said before the others could respond to his former statement.

"I think I'm done here!" Danzo said as he stood up and started leaving.

He was very displeased, but even then he still called Hiruzen by his title In front of others out of respect.

Hiruzen knew that Danzo wanted either the last Uchiha or the Jinchuriki in his secret organization. However he had been denied multiple times already, and since he couldn't voice his real intentions because no one else knew about his organization, he let his displeasure get the best of him as he stood up and left.

'Another Itachi' Danzo thought without showing emotion as he walked past Oden.

"Hokage-Sama! " One of the clan leaders was about to complain about the rude manners of Danzo, just leaving without the allowance of the Hokage.

"It's fine, let him leave." the Hokage said interrupting the ones that were about to complain.

"Hokage sama, I'm willing to become a Jonin teacher if you give me Naruto and Sasuke!" Oden expressed his thoughts.

"You want to teach those two? But Oden-san, you were just appointed as a clan head, can you handle those responsibilities at the same time taking care of genin disciples? Shikaku questioned.
