Inside the auditorium of the school, all the parents and children were standing and waiting for the 3rd hokage to give his speech.

3rd hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi, 61 years old, commonly known as 'The Professor', had lived through all the three shinobi wars and Kyubi attack. A true master of all the five chakra nature transformation along with all the ninjutsu of Konoha excluding clan secret techniques, his knowledge in any ninjutsu related subject is vast.

In fact, he was known as the 'God of Shinobi' in his prime. Age might have diminished his vast chakra reserve, physical strength and speed; but his precise chakra control helped him to use minimum amount of chakra to use techniques to their full potency.

The only one who could match him were the 3rd Raikage and 3rd Tsuchikage.

Amatsu had already learned his lesson, hence didn't dare to use byakugan to observe the hokage. After his last stunt, he was reluctant to use it on others without having some strength to back it up.

Now he, along with Hinata and other children of his age were standing on one side waiting for the hokage while their parents were standing on the other side.

Soon the hokage started giving his inspiring speech to motivate new students to work hard and protect the village. he mentioned something called 'Will of Fire' several times, but Amatsu was fast asleep during this time.

Although the speech was short, he had no patience to hear it.

hinata woke him up with a soft nudge when the hokage finished with inviting all students to attend their first class.

Parents soon returned to their homes. Children started to follow a teacher when their names were called upon. They were divided into various class.

Thankfully Amatsu and Hinata were in the same class along with most of the heirs of other notable clans.

Both of them had been made aware of all other heirs of all notable clans. Clan and village politics was what heads and elders of various clans spend most of their time with. Younger generations were the ones who often did the missions to increase clan's reputation.

Along with most of the heirs, the blond boy and some civilian children were also in the same class. All total a class consisted of 27 students, of which fourteen were from different clans while the other thirteens were civilians.

Amatsu had continued to observe the blond whenever he had the chance. He saw the blond with the hokage several times. they talked like they knew each other from before.

He still didn't know what that other chakra source was.

'From what I have observed and known so far, everyone has a single chakra source or the chakra reservoir where one gathered and stored his chakra. Even the hokage is not an exception. Then why is that blond has two different sources?' Amatsu was still thinking about the boy while watching him sitting alone in a corner.

Nobody went to him. In fact they avoided him like a plague.

Hinata was talking to a blond haired girl and a pink haired girl.

'That boy's own chakra reserve is larger compared to some jonin of my clan.'

Amatsu was amazed with how much chakra the blond possessed in such a young age.

'A five year old kid with chakra reserve of an adult jonin! What amount of chakra will he have if he grows up to an adult? Even I, who is often praised to have largest chakra reserve for my age, is nothing compared to him!'

Amatsu thought bitterly. He once was filled with pride when his clan members praised him so much. But now he didn't know what to think of.

'Compared to him, I have a pitiful amount of chakra. I am like a frog inside a well. I haven't even visited many places outside the clan's compound before, much less Konoha and the outside of Konoha is a vast world.'

'Well let's not dwell in this matter more. I will just have to train harder. If this doesn't change anything I will find other ways or let the nature take it's course. I am just a five years old after all.'

Amatsu cleared up all his thoughts and become more determined to become stronger. he was an adult man inside a young body. It was embarrassing for himself to admit defeat to a five year old boy even if the said boy's condition was something special.

"Amatsu-kun.. Amatsu-kun.." Hinata's voice woke him from his train of thoughts to the real world.

"Amatsu-kun, what were you doing so spaced out? I am calling your name for a while now." Hinata's face was full of concern for his well being.

"Don't worry Hina-chan. I was just think about random stuffs." Amatsu lied. Hinata also didn't ask further.

"Ok. Amatsu-kun, let me introduce you to my new friends. This is Ino Yamanaka." Hinata pointed towards a blond girl.

"Hello!" Ino greeted him politely. "It's nice to meet you. Lets be friends from now on." She was excited which clearly showed when she eagerly shook Amatsu's hand.

"Hi! Ino-chan. It's nice to meet you too." He greeted back with a smile. Ino blushed when she saw his smile.

"And this is Sakura Haruno." hinata pointed towards a pink haired girl who was beside Ino. Unlike her friend, she was shy.

"He..Hello! Amatsu-san." Sakura greeted him shyly.(A/N Sakura was shy and often bullied in her younger days before Ino broke her out of her shell. She later broke her friendship with Ino when the two grew older and had a major crush on Sasuke. They began competing for his affection. Ino and Sakura later became good friends again after the chunin exam.)

(A/N Hinata will not a shy. She is more outgoing here.)

"Hi! Sakura-san." She also blushed on seeing him smile.

"And finally this is Yakumo Kurama." Hinata pointed to a brown haired girl with light brown eyes.

"Hello! Amatsu-san."

"Hello! Yakumo-san."

After the three were introduced, they all began to talk about trivial matters before they stopped when their sensei came in.

Amatsu sat with a fat boy and a lazy boy with pineapple hair style while Hinata sat with her new friends.

'Akimichi and Nara clan members.' Amatsu deduced upon looking at their physical appearance.

"What a drag!" The Nara boy exclaimed and went back to his nap.

'Yup definitely a Nara.'
