130 Taking a step back

Even though I was planning to let you play for some more time, your actions are now putting the integrity of Konoha at risk

Look like the time for us old timers to retire is coming room' Hiruzen thought then called an Anbu ninja

"Summon Danzo, tell him I want him here within 15 minutes"

The Anbu ninja just nodded his head and went to call Danzo, when Danzo got the news that Hiruzen was calling him he was already aware that one of his ninjas had died, the seal present in the brains of the root ninja sent a signal to him if it activates

But for now, he still didn't know which of his subordinates died as many of them were out of the village completing various missions

But when he suddenly got a summon from Hiruzen right after getting this news, he had a rough idea of why he was getting called 

After 15 minutes Danzo was sitting in front of Hiruzen

"What happened, I was swamped," Danzo said with a frustrated voice

"Huh!, I know you are acting Danzo, so stop the act," Hiruzen said seeing the frustrated face of Danzo

Hearing that Danzo's expression became neutral and he just looked to ward Hiruzen

"Are you getting old with time, my friend?" Hiruzen asked with a sombre voice

"Don't beat around the bush, I don't have extra time to waste" Danzo said

"I specifically said that don't target Kaid, also stop your plans against the Uchiha clan, but not only did you continue your act but you also sent someone to spy on Kaida," Hiruzen said

"That boy was meddling in my affairs, I had to check if it was intentional or not," Danzo said without a single change in his expression

"Do you think I don't know about you, every single talent you decided to spy on was either directly or indirectly admitted in the root, also due to your harsh training more than 30% of them die during training

Those who are remaining will just become some emotionless tools" Hiruzen said

"Don't forget that those tools are the reason why Konoha is still surviving" Danzo said in an arrogant voice 

"I know my friend this was the reason I turned a blind eye to so many of your evil deeds, but now you are getting overboard this will affect Konoha internally and will leave us vulnerable to the external enemy," Hiruzen said

"Evil deeds?, what are you talking about, everything I did was for Konoha only," Danzo said

"How is killing village ninja and using their body parts for experimentation good for Konoha" Hiruzen shouted angrily

Danzo thought in his head

'just that, what will you do when you know what I did along with Orochimaru to increase the strength of my root ninjas' Danzo thought

(A.N: Yup even though it is unclear exactly when Orochimaru left the village, by some rough estimation it was around when Naruto when 3–4-year-old means right now in the story)

"That was a necessary sacrifice," Danzo said like it was not a big matter

sigh

"From now on you are prohibited from using any of your root ninjas to spy on anyone in Konoha, and your right to vote in elder meetings is also removed for 6 months

If I get to know that you once again did something unacceptable against anyone in the Konoha I will truly disband root, this is my last warning, you can go back"

Danzo kept on looking toward Hiruzen's face, anger boiling deep inside him, but being the crafty old man he was he knew that this was not the correct time to act

So he simply stood up to leave, but before leaving he said a final sentence

"Uchiha can't be left alone, they will destroy the village one day" and then left the office

Hu sighed and then looked toward another report on his table, it was about another group of children missing from slums and other small villages around Konoha

Hiruzen sighed once again and said

"look like I can't overlook this anymore"

(Root headquarters)

"Call all the ninjas who were sent to spy in the village," Danzo said

"Sir, Even from the Uchiha clan?" Danzo's subordinate asked in shock, from the time they had started targeting the Uchiha clan, more than 20 highly skilled spies were sent to keep a watch on Uchihas, their reports were being analyzed daily by various root ninjas and even Danzo to make this plan full proof, but now he is suddenly telling to call all spies back after coming this far the subordinated doubted his understanding of the order

"Yes we have to lay low for some time, Hiruzen is going to take action soon, I don't want his attention to shift toward us

Cut all the ties with Orochimaru, remove all the evidence of our corporation, and make it so that no one can find any clues that we were related anytime"

The root ninja understood what was happening he quickly bowed his head and then went to complete his orders, leaving Danzo alone in his office

'I wonder what kind of face you will make after you find out the deeds of your favourite student' he thought while taking a sip of alcohol

Unknown to all the undercurrent Kaida was peacefully sleeping in his room, but even if he knew about the recent event there was very little he could do to get any benefit out of it

He was now where near Orochimaru's level, So this event was not something he was going to interfere with, even though he completely knew that it was going to happen

(event --->Hiruzen and Orochimaru confrontation)

After sleeping till 5:00 AM, Kaida woke up fully refreshed and then went out to the Training area after completing his morning routine

The reason Kaida went to the Training area was not to train but to see if he was still under watch

After confirming that he was rather safe now Kaida sighed

'look like I can move more freely now, I can finally focus on getting some real-life experience of various jutsu' Kaida thought and then went back to his house

After enjoying tea and breakfast with his family Kaida went to the hospital with Shisui

Naturally, they didn't talk about yesterday's event in front of Yomi and Hae, now that they were outside

"You don't have to worry about being spied on from now on, but you stand still and be vigilant for a little more time, if you ever feel that you are under watch or someone is following, come to me as fast as you can, in case I am not in the village go to clan headquarter and tell to clan head," Shisui said

"Even the clan head knows about this?" Kaida asked
