Most of the ninja in Narutoverse are prideful, and due to this reason they don't focus on running away from a battle where the chances of defeat and death are high (tactical retreat) rather they fight and die for their village

Kaida also would have done the same if he was originally from here, but luckily due to being a transmigrator he was able to see the broader picture Where living a day a more is more important than fighting for pseudo-peace in this world 

And since Kaida also influenced Yomi, and when Kaida told her about the world from his perspective she too became a more practical person than a person fully devoted to the village, so now they were training to increase the mastery of the movement jutsu 

Also, every jutsu Naruto is capable of becoming super deadly if mastered enough Shisui was famous for his movement jutsu, also known as Shisui the teleporter or Shisui of the body flicker 

His mastery in this jutsu was so high that he was able to create after image of his, one can say that this can easily be replicated by clone jutsu 

But they are wrong the clone jutsu is very basic and can easily be rendered useless if your enemy knows basic sensing techniques or is cable enough to notice small details ( which most of the experienced ninjas can)

 whereas the movement jutsu like body flicker jutsu is different, because when you use this jutsu and use it fast enough that there are after images like Shisui Uchiha, then your enemy can't predict your actual location and sensor ninja will have an even harder time as they will feel that you are present at many positions 

so Kaida and Yomi both decided to focus on movement jutsu for now, Kaida also decided to learn Body Flicker jutsu as even though he knew Wind instantaneous movement jutsu which was superior to body flicker jutsu in terms of the amount of distance one can cover after using this Jutsu

but body flicker jutsu is faster to execute and is much preferred in battles than wind instantaneous movement jutsu 

also, Kaida can ask Shisui to teach him about mastering body flicker jutsu which will boost his power to a higher level, 

kaida himself was not a fool he knew that his current power level was comparable to a Jonin but he still couldn't fight an elite Jonin, but still reaching the level of Jonin before becoming 9 years old was a sign of being a genius, if kaida didn't know about the future he would have been very proud of reaching this stage in his life 

but since Kaida knew that even elite Jonin-level ninjas would just become cannon fodder in the events in the future like in Pain Arc or 4 Great Ninja War, 

So he was striving even harder to increase his strength, as now he had people in this world he had to protect so he needed to increase his strength to at least at the level of an S Rank ninja so that he could save the people he come to know and who have helped him in this world

While they were practicing in the training ground Shisui Uchiha got the news that Kaida had come back from his mission 

due to constant pestering from his mother, he has to ask the Guard for a Favor, and due to him being a high-level and respected ninja guards don't have any problem helping him 

Just as Shisui got the news that Kaida was back he directly went t 

As soon as Shisui Uchiha got the news that Kaida had returned to the village he went directly toward his house

But he found that locked, suddenly he had a crazy thought in his mind

'there is no way he is training just after coming back from the mission right' But remembering his previous encounter with Kaida, he thought to check out the training ground near their house just in case 

....

When Shisui reached the training ground, he couldn't believe that his doubt was correct Kaida and Yomi were practicing movement jutsu

Shisui was easily able to identify the jutsu they were using as he has both mangekyo Sharingan and mastery over the said jutsu

After seeing them practicing earnestly he thought

' they must have faced something on the mission, which has motivated them to practice this hard'

 But being an experienced ninja Shisui decided not to ask anything about the mission he also used body flicker jutsu to appear in front of Kaida 

...

Kaida was practicing body fickler jutsu as hard as he could while his Sharingan was activated 

Because he had a feeling that his Sharingan was on the verge of evolving this was also the reason he had only made 3 shadow clones as the training he was doing required a high amount of chakra expenditure

Just when he was going to use body flicker again he felt that someone was going to appear just in front of him and due to the constant vigilance they had to maintain during the mission Kaida was sensitive to any sudden movements

Just when he felt that someone was going appear in front of him he already prepared an attack and went for a chakra-enhanced punch right at the face as there was no time for any jutsu preparation

But the person who was going to appear in front of him somehow teleported even before his punch could have connected

 Since he just teleported a few steps back Kaida was able to see who the person was

" Hello brother long time no see," Shisui said with a smile 

But inside he was thinking

'how come a brat of his age is this powerful, that punch was strong enough to hurt me even if I used iron skin jutsu, and let's not even talk about the speed of the punch

Well it's great that my brother is strong'

"You scared me their brother!" Kaida said while laughing awkwardly 

"Hahahaha, Well what can I say, I didn't think you would react like that, but leave that aside 

Do you remember what you said at our previous meeting" Shisui asked 

"Are you talking about visiting your house or the treat part?" Kaida asked 

"Well first let's go to my house then we can go for the treat," Shisui said while laughing 

"I am sorry brother but I can't visit right now, because Sensei said that we may be called to the hokage office to submit our reports for the mission," Kaida said apologetically

"Well no problem so can you tell me the time you can visit my house, my mother is nagging me too much to meet her nephew," Shisui asked 

"I will come after 3 days, I can come after submit our report but I am still under the effect of the soldier pill and I want to meet my aunt fully fresh, but if it is urgent I can come after the reports," Kaida asked 

"Oh! No, you can come after 3 days I will tell Mom about this, also do you want my help with anything"

Shisui asked expecting Kaida to ask him for some tips that can help in mastering body flicker jutsu 

"No brother for now I don't have anything to ask but I will come to you if I face any problems" 

"Okay so practice well but don't forget to rest properly as resting is also a part of the training Okay" 

"Yes Brother," Kaida said 

Then Shisui used body flicker jutsu and vanished from the training ground

Normally Kaida wouldn't have trusted anyone this easily, but Shisui was portrayed as a very nice character in Naruto also since Shisui was his cousin brother (Which he confirmed from the data present about the families in the Konoha) 

(A.N: YUP, I made this up, but come on they sure to have something like that in Konoha right)
