The second stage

"Huff. Huff. How the hell am I getting tired? I thought we were in a simulation?" Menma said as he tried to attack Tobirama with his katana.

"If you let me pierce your heart with my sword your stamina would refresh immediately. What do you say want to take on my offer?" Tobirama said to Menma as he fended off all of Menma's attacks.

Menma has his sharingan activated and he was using his new katana to glimpse into a few seconds into the future.

But even then it was not enough for him to overwhelm Tobirama.

He was not fast or powerful enough to get his hands on Tobirama.

He saw an aura of Tobirama and how he was going to move occasionally but for every movement that he made to take advantage of that particular future Tobirama simply pushed him back using his superior speed, strength and reflexes.

"What's wrong? Already tired? I know you still have some steam left in you." Tobirama said to Menma.

"Tsk."

Then Menma goes in for a vertical slash.

Tobirama easily pushed back Menma's sword but strangely Menma let go of his sword and backed away.

"!" Tobirama was somewhat confused by Menma's movements. As the katana slowly drops onto the ground.

Got you. Menma thought as he saw Tobirama let his guard down for a few seconds.

Menma immediately teleported near Tobirama by using a Flying Rijin mark that was on the Katana's handle.

He was now put in a location where he could get a free hit on Tobirama and he went in for it.

Using all the chakra that he has in his body to reinforce his limbs and increase his speed to be as fast as he can.

All of this just to get a single hit on the second Hokage.

But it failed as Tobirama cut off Menma's right hand that was holding the katana with his own sword.

Disarming him and leaving him defenceless.

Menma figured out Tobirama's movements without having to use the future sight after his hand was cut off and he immediately tried to block Tobirama's attack but it was too late.

Tobirama cut off Menma's head immediately after disarming him.

"If it were in real life you would have already died," Tobirama said.

Menma's body started to regenerate immediately after his head was cut off to allow him to keep on sparing and training.

Tobirama's body which surprisingly seems to have some sort of small cuts and wounds also started to heal and patch up.

Menma was also able to cause some wounds on Tobirama during the fight however they were insignificant and not very prominent at all.

They were wounds that were comparable to that of paper cut or a small splinter.

"You are really strong. How the hell am I supposed to beat you when I can't even inflict serious wounds on you." Menma asked.

His Sharingan was still activated.

However, now his eyes possess two dark tomoes instead of one.

"Why are you already getting discouraged? We still have a lot of time left to continue our fight and you seem to be improving quite fast compared to my expectations." Tobirama answered.

"Just don't set unrealistic expectations like beating me immediately after you learned a party trick. Although I may be the weakest Hokage. But I am still a Hokage." Tobirama answered.

"Wait. You are the weakest?" Menma asked as he looked shocked.

"My brother is a lot stronger than me. And the third, who is my student is not a pushover either. The fourth possesses half the power of nine tails."

"My brother's granddaughter is also a very strong Kunoichi while the sixth and the seventh are extraordinary people. Among all the Hokage that will be training you, I am the weakest alongside the fifth." Tobirama explained.

"Even if you beat me your next foe will be even stronger so be patient and learn everything that you can from me by observing my every move. Trying to move past me and get to the next step without properly learning will only hinder you in the future." Tobirama advised.

"You are the weakest?" Menma said in shock.

If he is already this strong and he is supposed to be the weaker one I cannot even imagine how strong the other Kages are. Menma thought.

[The power gap between the first, second, third, fourth and fifth is not that apart. However, the full power of the sixth and seventh cannot be even classified as kage levels.]

Kage levels? Menma was confused.

[To classify threat levels, all the living beings in the world are ranked according to their strength.]

"Can you explain them to me?" Menma asked.

[Civilain - the non-combatants without any abilities or skills

Genin - the weakest ranking that a combatant can receive

Chunin- the combatants that are stronger than Genins but not exactly an elite combatant

Jonin- Elite-level combatants

Kage- The strongest elite combatants

God- Combants with strength that can rival gods.]

[Each rank has Low and High classifications to differentiate between the beings that are just barely classified to be in that particular rank, from beings that are almost as strong enough to fight against those from higher tiers.]

"I see," Menma said.

[You can ask me whenever you want to assess the power of your enemies.]

"Can you assess the rank of Tobirama?" Menma asked.

[Senju Tobirama (High Kage)]

He was not surprised.

Then he wondered what his current strength was.

[Menma (Low Jonin)]

He is just barely classified as an elite.

At that time.

"Do you think he is the person who killed all the people in that village?" a man who was heavily armoured asked the blonde-haired girl called Samui.

"I don't know. But since he is the only one who still has his life it's a big possibility. We can only interrogate him after he wakes up." Samui said.

While Menma was wasting time in the hall of Hokage, his body in real life was being tied up in a dungeon in a village hidden in the clouds.
