The Hidden task

Menma moved very fast to the point that it created an afterimage, and then he appeared behind Tsunade and stabbed her in the heart.

Tsunade was not able to react to it quickly enough and it looked like the fight had already been over.

"That was easy," Menma said.

He was surprised at how much Tsunade was lacking when it came to combat abilities when compared to Tobirama.

"You know kid. There are words you should not say if you want to live longer." Tsunade said as she forced herself away from the sword.

Shen then looked at Menma and launched a punch at him.

Menma blocked her attack with his sword by using the flat non-blade side of the katana.

Her speed is not as fast as the second. But her strength and regeneration is far superior. Menma noted as he backed away from Tsaunde.

I might be able to finish this far faster than I thought. He also concluded.

Then he rushed towards Tsunade.

Tsunade jumped into the air aiming towards the place where he was located.

She used a heel drop enhanced by chakra as it destroyed the ground that Menma was previously standing on.

Menma escaped her attack by jumping backwards before her heel drop landed on the ground.

"That was close," Menma commented.

He used his future sight to see a few seconds into the future as Tsuande prepared her attack. Therefore he was able to react to it earlier allowing him to evade it unscathed.

This should do it. He thought as he threw his katana towards Tsuande.

He then teleported to the katana appearing behind Tsuande who was not expecting it and decapitated her.

"I did it." He said as he looked at her body which was now headless.

However, her head fell on the ground disappeared and a new head regenerated immediately.

"Kid. For me to train you in medical ninjutsu you have to earn my respect. But Beating me in a fight will not earn my respect." She said as she smiled at Menma.

"Why do I even need medical ninjutsu anyway? I have regeneration abilities." Menma said.

"Your regeneration abilities cannot be used to heal others," Tsunade said as she punched Menma away.

"Why would I need to help the others?" Menma asked as he looked at Tsunade.

"When I alone am enough to defeat everyone," Menma said as he rushed towards her with his katana in his hand.

"Come brat," Tsunade said.

At that time, in the hidden leaf village.

"What is this?" Sakura asked as she looked at a piece of paper that Kakashi gave her.

Kakashi was a white hair man who covered most of his face including one of his eyes by wearing a mask.

Kakashi also handed the paper to Naruto and Sasuke.

Sakura was a pink-haired girl who was in the same team as Naruto which is team 7. The team that Kakashi supervise.

Sasuke was a handsome black hair boy who came from the Uchiha clan. He was also in the same team as Naruto.

"Finally. I can take the Chunin exam." Naruto said as he yelled out in joy.

I am not letting you be the first Chunin out of us this time, Shikamaru. Naruto thought in his mind.

He was a regressor so he possesses memories about the future, but his regression takes away his emotional maturity making his personality not much different from the one he possessed when he was still a child.

"I can see that you are excited," Kakashi replied to Naruto while smiling.

Well, it seems like he was smiling, as no one in team 7 can truly tell his real expression that was hidden under the mask.

Then suddenly Naruto stopped smiling as he realized that something was wrong.

Wait. Aren't we supposed to meet Gaara before Kakashi Sensei gives us the chunin exam nominations? Naruto thought.

In his previous life, he met a boy named Gaara before he received the chunin exam normation from Kakashi.

Gaara is an important person in his last life as he was a jinchuriki just like him.

Not only that Gaara also grew up to be the next Kazekage who fought alongside Naruto in his previous life.

Gaara should have appeared by now but he was nowhere to be found. Whatever. I am sure he will show up for the exam. Then I can befriend him. Naruto thought as he dismissed the thought of something being wrong.

Sasuke was silent as he looked at Naruto.

Can I beat him? Sasuke thought.

Sasuke didn't know Naruto's full power but he was starting to get paranoid when he thought about the fact that he was already lagging behind the so-called loser.

He wanted to kill his brother to avenge his clan but he knew he wouldn't achieve that goal if he was not even able to surpass Naruto.

Kyaaa. Sasuke looked so cool. Sakura thought in her mind.

Huh. Why is he looking so intensely at Naruto? She questioned in her mind.

No way it's because of that. Right? She thought as she remembered that Naruto and Sasuke kissed not very long ago.

At the kumo village. In the Raikage's office.

"Chunnin exams. They are still pushing for that." Ay said as he looked at the documents that the white-haired dark kumo ninja girl brought him.

"Peace? What a load of crap. They must be doing this to showcase their new talents and brag about their military might." Ay said.

"Should I decline their offer Lord Raikage?" The kumo girl asked Ay.

"No. Sent team Samui." Ay said.

"And tell them to provoke the nine-tail brat and try to eliminate him in the exam under the guise of an accident." Ay said as he smiled.

He was still under the impression that Naruto was the one who attacked Kumo a few years ago.
