34 Lightning is the way.

"How did it go, Minato? Were you able to get along well with Eiji?" A beautiful woman with long red hair asked with high expectations.

She sighed, looking gently at Minato lying on the couch while glancing back at Kushina.

"I thought something good would come out of it, but..." Minato averted his gaze as she sighed again. For some reason, he couldn't get along with Kushina's junior, Eiji.

"What happened?"

"At first, it seemed like everything was going well. Eiji-kun was starting to pay attention in my class... I felt a bit sorry for them, as I haven't been teaching Kakashi properly lately."

"And then what happened?"

Minato shrugged and continued, "I was impressed with them. Both of them already knew a technique that took me four years to learn, even if it's incomplete... they still knew."

Kushina was surprised; they knew the Rasengan? Only a few could perform it, as it required an extremely high level of chakra control.

Almost at the level of perfection.

"But their Rasengan wasn't perfected like mine, maybe a step behind? I'm sure they will be able to master it in a few months... no... a few weeks should be enough."

Minato looked at Kushina, unsurprised. She was lost in her dreams, admiring how her Kouhai was a genius and so adorable.

"Until Jiraiya-sama showed up..."

Hesitating to finish his sentence, Minato heard the sound of a wooden spoon breaking, and Kushina's aura turned cold.

"Jiraiya... You said?" Her red hair flowed towards the Nine-Tails.

Her killing intent was radiant and noticeable.

"Calm down, it's not what you think, Kushina." Minato hurried to soothe her and spoke quickly.

"In fact, that's what happened."

[Flashback]

"Are you lost? The great legendary Sannin? Hehehe" Jiraya was surprised that this kid had the audacity to mock him...

"Jiraya, why are you called the Legendary Sannin if you lose 3v1 against single sign ninjas? Shouldn't you be the loser legendary Sannin?"

"Jiraya, why are you a hopeless pervert?"

"Jiraiya..."

"Then why did you manage to lose to a S-class ninja in a full of water and rain?"

"And how did you manage to lose to a hopeless pervert?"

"If it happens a battle, you are forbidden to use this jutsu. You run a great risk of getting hurt by approaching the target to hit him with the Chidori."

Sakumo decided to prohibit the use of the jutsu for now; it was too dangerous.

"But..." Kakashi tried to argue but stopped when he saw his father's stern gaze that allowed no room for discussion. He admired his father and understood it was for his own good. So instead of grumbling, Kakashi decided to use his time to improve the Chidori for use in battle.

Eiji smiled and approached Kakashi, giving him a light pat on the shoulder.

"Don't worry, I have an idea of how to overcome the weakness."

Kakashi's confidence in his statement was boosted.

"How?"

"You see, when you use Chidori, you just discharge the chakra into your hand and condense it in your palm. The concept is good, but it's not being used in the most efficient way."

Kakashi looked at his brother; most of his jutsus were all original. Eiji had already invented some never-before-seen jutsus, and Kakashi knew his brother's mind worked differently.

Watching Kakashi's eager eyes, Eiji felt proud to be so reliable.

"It seems good!" Eiji mimicked Kakashi's Chidori; lightning began to gather in his hand, producing the sound of hundreds of birds. The brilliance of the jutsu was so strong that Eiji found it a bit difficult to see due to the uncontrollable lightning.

"As it is, it's running out of control, obstructing your vision when you attack. You have two options currently."

"The first," Eiji started to 'control' the Chidori by compressing and concentrating all the lightning around his hand, preventing the jutsu from going out of control and at the same time keeping it suppressed.

Sakumo smiled at his son's perfect chakra control; he had never seen anyone so talented in chakra control in his life.

Kakashi was in awe, witnessing the scene unfolding before his eyes.

"Did you see what I did? Instead of letting the jutsu run wild, emitting several lightning that obstructs your vision, you compress it as much as possible and concentrate everything around your hand, as if you were trying to crush it."

Eiji ran towards a rock beside them.

"And when you attack with the jutsu, close to the time of impact or at the same time... Just release everything." Eiji pierced and exploded the tree.

BOOOOOOOOM

It split in two!

"This is one way to overcome the weakness; the second one is simpler." Eiji used Chidori again, but this time he didn't compress the Chidori well.

"If you find it difficult to do what I did before, you can use the earth and discharge it into the ground." The Chidori emitted lightning directly into the ground, avoiding hindering vision during the use of the jutsu.

Kakashi noticed that under Eiji's hand, which was lying on the ground, the Chidori was discharging lightning into the earth in a circular shape.

"Do you understand?" Eiji released the jutsu and asked Kakashi gently.

"You can also create variations of Chidori, like electrifying the ground, Chidori Senbon, Chidori Sword, Chidori Whip." Eiji started mumbling his ideas non-stop.

While Eiji thought he was tormenting Kakashi with his crazy ideas, contrary to what he thought... Kakashi took everything seriously and little did he know that it would have such a great effect on Kakashi's evolution.

***

Two months passed in an instant; Kakashi completely mastered the Chidori and developed a more compact version of it that didn't obstruct his vision; he named it Raikiri!

Eiji invented two more original jutsus, one genjutsu and one defensive ninjutsu that he didn't feel comfortable demonstrating to anyone.

They would be his trump cards.

Eiji hadn't heard from Kiyomi for a few months, but Kushina said there was nothing they could do since Mikoto had said it was a clan training for the princess.

Unlike others, she would receive a different treatment from other Uchihas.

Currently, Kakashi and Eiji are training again with Minato...

"Tell me, what's this demon doing here?"

"Kashi, if you want to die, don't drag me along," Eiji complained.

Due to an unfortunate comment from Eiji, Kushina started training with them too... And the problem was that she had great talent in kenjutsu. Her fuinjutsu pranks were really troublesome in a fight.

Eiji shifted his gaze to Minato, who was training with his Rasengan, and decided to tease the blond a bit.

"Are you failing again?" Eiji smiled and

began to taunt Minato.

Minato was completely focused and didn't notice Eiji approaching; his concentration was fully on the jutsu in his hand.

While one hand held the Rasengan, the other on top seemed to be adding something.

'Is he trying to add the wind element to the Rasengan?' Eiji raised an eyebrow and decided not to bother Minato and simply observed in silence.

!!!

Eiji felt that something was going wrong and suddenly moved to the side.

BAAAM

The Rasengan in Minato's hand exploded, and he was thrown with force to the ground behind Eiji.

Approaching Minato, Eiji questioned, "Do you want to fuse Rasengan with wind chakra?"

Minato got up and patted his clothes a few times to shake off the dust, looking at him, expecting some sarcasm, but none came.

Perplexed that Eiji didn't start a fight with him, Minato decided to answer, "...Yes."

"Then why don't you try senjutsu?"

"Why..." Minato was about to say that it wasn't possible, but... Could it be possible? He had tried countless times to fuse Rasengan with wind chakra and failed.

Perhaps, just perhaps, it could be possible... Minato knew he was slacking off his training on Mount Myoboku with the toads. He had to train Kakashi, go on missions, and be with Kushina.

However, in this life, Kakashi had a father who could teach better than he ever could in his whole life; he also had a brother who had great ideas that were unique, different, and skilled enough to put them into practice.

There was nothing in Konoha currently that could stop him from dragging his training.

With the toads, he could study the second jutsu, senjutsu, and take the Rasengan to a new level!

His mentor Jiraiya had tried several times to make Minato train for some time with the toads, but he always refused because he had some task as a sensei or a ninja... But now...

Things are completely different!

With a simple comment from Eiji, he changed the entire history of Minato and the ninja lands... The effects of this would be devastating.

Minato made up his mind.

He approached Kushina.

She looked at him, surprised by his seriousness.

"I'm going to train on Mount Myoboku."

And so, the future of the ninja nations was changed in a way that no one could imagine, all with a simple sentence.
