"We're home, Dad. Are you there?" He spoke loud enough for his voice to echo throughout the house.

As he took off his sandals, he heard his father's voice, who was probably in the kitchen. "You guys arrived, huh? Come here."

His father fixed his eyes on their headbands and showed no emotion on his face, but Eiji could tell he was uncomfortable with it. His children were getting closer to knowing the truth and the cruelty of the Shinobi world.

"You finally graduated, huh? I expected you to stay longer in the academy and make friends."

"That's unnecessary; they're just a bunch of careless kids and fangirls," Kakashi groaned, remembering all the girls that surrounded him... and then there was that girl, at least she was different.

"But we are kids, Kashi-nii," Eiji winked at him.

"Huh? Did you say something?"

"Sorry, I didn't understand what you said, could you repeat?" He replied back. It was so gratifying to give him a taste of his own medicine.

Kakashi just shut up. His brother managed to become even more idiotic than he already was. And annoying.

"That's enough from you two, come eat..." Sakumo paused for a moment and said with anticipation, "I made that good and strange food you taught me, Eiji."

"It's lasagna!" He remembered teaching them how to make it a few days ago, and they loved it. Many foods he knew how to cook in his previous life didn't exist in this world. The culture was completely different from what he was used to.

"How did you find out about making this kind of food?" Kakashi was almost always by his side and never saw him researching cooking or any such skills.

"I had a divine epiphany and discovered this recipe from another world." He spoke whatever nonsense came to his mind. He couldn't tell them he was a food fanatic in his past life, right?

"I know," Kakashi let it be. Sakumo just analyzed but decided not to interfere. It was a kid thing.

"Dad, my sensei is named Namikaze Minato, why aren't you my sensei? It would've been so much better!" Kakashi murmured while pouting. There was no one better to train him than his father in his eyes.

"Don't belittle your sensei; he's very strong and was taught by one of the Legendary Sannin. And even if I wanted to, I couldn't be your sensei," Sakumo denied, shaking his head in disagreement.

"I thought you both knew that." He said as he sat on the couch. It seemed like the conversation was going to take a while.

"Big deal, what's so great about those three?" Eiji responded, clearly dissatisfied with how his father was being praised.

"Why do you say that, Eiji? They are strong."

"They're not strong, they're just overrated by those who lick their boots. I've read and heard about their feats in wars, despite being good in their specialties – medical ninjutsu, infiltration, information gathering, and vast knowledge – that's all. There are numerous ninjas in Konoha who can do the same."

"Their last fight was 3vs1 at their best, with their summons and arsenal available; they still lost to a single ninja and made it a glory? As if they had achieved something?" Eiji scolded the Sannin. After taking a deep breath, he continued, "Pure nonsense, they were defeated, humiliated, and still pride themselves on something like that and use it to make a name for themselves? It's outrageous and shameful. If everyone could become strong and famous like that, the ninja world would have many Legendary Sannin." Eiji vented all his thoughts.

"In the end, they're weak, at least much weaker than you, Dad; it's rude and immoral that they have the same status as you!"

Sakumo just listened in silence; his son wasn't wrong in reality, that was exactly the case. They shamefully lost with an advantage. And yet, they were enjoying honor and glory. He could be humble and modest, but not enough to accept things at that level.

Kakashi felt more depressed when he heard this; he hadn't thought about it from this angle. The stories were really exaggerated about them.

"Dad, switch to being my sensei. I want you to train me!" Kakashi demanded; he didn't want to get involved with Minato anymore! His father was the best!

"I can't do that, Kakashi, do you know why?" He asked, looking directly into his eyes.

"Why?"

"Think about it this way, if something like that could be done, why don't Uchiha or Hyuga have their heirs or clan branches with their parents as jounin sensei?"

"The answer is simple; they want to create connections, friendships, political strength; develop rivalry among the young ones, make them more familiar with those close to Konoha, be it a civilian or someone from a clan. I don't see anyone with their own parents as jounin sensei; at most, it would be a distant member or a close friend."

"Do you understand, Kakashi? Eiji?"

"Yes," Kakashi replied, clearly upset and dissatisfied.

"Now... What happened at the academy today? After all, it was your first day. Something fun must have happened there," Sakumo commented. He loved getting involved and knowing what was happening in his children's lives.

"Everyone came to congratulate us, even Kakashi's girlfriend." I smiled at the last comment.

"SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!" Kakashi exclaimed, extremely embarrassed about these matters.

"I see... my son has really grown up," Sakumo said sadly, pretending to wipe away some tears. "I want to meet my future daughter-in-law."

"Look at him all shy," I rolled on the floor laughing.

"You! Darn it!" Kakashi refused to comment on anything. Anything could be used against him.

Stopping laughing after a long time, Eiji then continued, "There was a guy too; I think he's a pedophile. He wanted to take us to his house or something, something about being under his wing," I commented, pretending to be a little scared. I wanted to make this man's life a misery!

Sakumo's eyes became scary for a moment, seeming so lifeless or emotionless. It was as quick as a flash, but I felt a suffocating pressure that disappeared as quickly as it came.

"Who was this man?" Sakumo asked calmly, whoever dared to mess with his children might as well go buy a coffin!

"I think it was Shimura Danzo, he even tried to possess us or something like that, I feel like he's stalking us." I exaggerated things a lot, but who cares?

"But-" Before Kakashi could say anything, I stepped on his foot, silencing him. "Don't you remember back in the Hokage's hall?"

"Yes, it's true: he really did that." Although he didn't have much of an idea of what was going on, it wasn't a lie; he just made things a little bigger. Kakashi wouldn't mind that.

Then Sakumo stood up calmly, placing the cup in his hand on the table, and slowly made his way to his ninja arsenal, preparing himself. He even took his tantō, his main strength, his symbol.

Eiji already had an idea of what he was going to do, but he was a little worried. He didn't expect his father to be so extreme. "Where are you going, Dad?" He asked as he watched him don his ninja uniform. "I'm going to visit a dead man," Sakumo said in a voice devoid of any emotion. 'You dare to threaten my children! You're going to die!' He swore in his mind. "Stay at home and train a little. I'll be back by evening." He walked slowly towards the door and before closing it, he said, "Don't leave the house, it's an order!"

BANG!

He closed the door with unnecessary force.

"What is he going to do, Eiji-ni?" Kakashi asked worriedly.

"He's going to replace someone, don't worry about it, let's train!" He said as he dragged Kakashi by the hand to the backyard, where there was a training field.

BOOM!

The door of the Hokage's office exploded and was thrown, breaking the window grilles behind the Hokage.

Due to his quick reflexes and reaction time, he managed to dodge what was left of the door quite easily.

"Who dares to attack the Hokage's office?"

"Are you crazy?"

"Are you alright, Lord Third?"

The Anbu quickly formed a strategic formation around the Hokage to protect him from potential threats.

The figure of Sakumo soon revealed itself after the dust settled.

"Is that Sakumo?"

"White Fang?"

"Has he gone crazy?"

Although they recognized the intruder, they didn't lower their guard. They were all ready to attack at any second.

"Calm down," the Third Hokage spoke as he quickly assessed his longtime acquaintance. "What do you think you were doing, Sakumo?" He felt that something was off with Sakumo. His eyes were devoid of emotion, as if he were on a battlefield.

The Third Hokage knew him better; he was a good man who would never do something like this unless someone pushed him over the edge.

Sakumo ignored him and immediately questioned him. It wasn't a request; it was an order.

"Where is Danzo?"

Hiruzen furrowed his brow as he looked at Sakumo, tantō in hand, fully geared for war. He couldn't help but curse his friend.

'What the hell did you do this time, Danzo? I'm getting too old for this shit.' Hiruzen felt an enormous headache coming.

This time, the shit definitely hit the fan.
