1 Chapter I: Reincarnator's Ranting

Chapter I: Reincarnator's Ranting

___

Opening my eyes, I gazed once again at the sky, almost as if seeking confirmation that what lay before me wasn't a mere creation of my mind, a delusion I had conjured.

However, even after an hour of steadfast staring, nothing changed; it seemed evident that I wasn't in my original world anymore.

This had become a daily routine of mine ever since I transmigrated into this familiar accursed world a week ago.

After all, reading transmigration stories and experiencing it firsthand are two vastly different things.

One moment, your concerns only revolve around completing assignments, homework or attending lectures and the next moment, you have to think about your survival as the most important thing.

This contrast between these two situations was so sharp that it took a full week for my modern mind to adapt to the unfamiliar surroundings.

What's more, I hadn't just transmigrated into any world; it was the most clichéd one imaginable.

In a world where people fight for survival, clashing over land, resources, money, ideals, greed, lust, power, and the ever-elusive peace.

In the world, where plans span thousands of years, manipulating generations and incarnations to achieve their goals.

Here, you'll find peculiar instances, like senile old men peeping on women bathing and individuals reading smut while teaching wisdom to his students.

It's a world, familiar to every cultured boy's childhood. It's none other than the—the world of Naruto.

A world that had become the dumping ground for thousands of fanfiction writers, each trying to pour their delusion onto it.

At times, he even entertained the unsettling thought that he might just be nothing more than a delusion spawned by some overly imaginative author, but he swiftly dismissed such thoughts. "How could that be? This is a real world, not some overused fanfiction!"

However, this line of thinking opened the door to another chain of thoughts. "If the world of Naruto could be real, who's to say others aren't?"

A person might find themselves transmigrating into the world full of adventure like One Piece, or, in less fortunate circumstances, where Lady Luck is not shining on him he might just be dropped into some darker universes like Eldritch Horror, SCP Foundations, Lord of Mysteries, an NTR story, Warhammer 40k, Berserk or some ruthless and cutthroat cultivation world like Reverend Insanity. He might as well do suicide then at least he will leave an intact corpse.

The more he pondered, the more an unsettling fear crept over him – the possibility that he might indeed be trapped in one of those worlds left him a little scared.

Calming his mind he quickly looked to his surroundings, taking the sight of a peaceful and tranquil village, and exhaled a sigh of relief.

The Naruto world is much better; at least here, I can have death, while in those worlds, even death would be a luxurious option.

But...No matter how much he considered the positive of things, he knew when to accept reality.

He understood that he needed to take this world seriously, otherwise in this world where death was as common as toilet paper, he would be torn apart, crumpled and ultimately flushed into the death's embrace and no one would come to save him unless he himself grew strong.

The cruelty of these ninjas in this world, he believed, would surely far surpass what was shown in the anime. After all, it was just an anime. How can it show the true nature of reality?

So he had to make his plans carefu—

"Tatsuyaaaa, come down, dinner is ready!" A loud shout echoed throughout the house.

"..."

'Sigh, Well done Mother! Now my whole momentum of self-motivation is wasted. Thanks, to you.' I thought in my mind.

"Can you wait a little for me, Mom? I am busy now," I shouted back.

"Come out now!! Or do you want me to come to you?!" Her sharp but melodious voice sounded.

"Ok, Ok! I am coming." I had to bow down to her; after all, she was my mother, and let me tell you, she is really scary when angered.

As for why I can talk back to her with such familiarity and not feel awkward about it, well, I got the whole goddamn memory of this body when I awoke in this world.

If I had to describe the process, I'd say it was messy – as messy as Messi was good in football. Only someone who has been injected with two different sets of memories at the same time can truly understand how much I suffered through that process.

It's like waking up from a dream, going about your day, and when you finally sleep again, you wake up suddenly only to realise that your entire previous day was just a dream.

And then when you finally confirm this day to be reality and drift off to sleep only to wake up again and realise that you've been bitch-slapped again. Even the day you lived before was just a dream.

And if this seems messy and trippy to anyone, in my case, when I woke up, it wasn't just a day that was a dream—it was my whole damn entire life.

One moment, I was the person from the modern world who considered memories of life in the Naruto world as mere dreams, attributing them to excessive Naruto watching and just me being infected by the Delulu virus.

In another moment, I was a person in the Land of Ninjas, dismissing memories of the modern world as mere concoctions I had cooked up after reading some storybook.

It was like I was stuck in this loop of dream/reality for god knows how long, never to be woken up.

But something happened at that time, pulling me out of the loop before things took a turn for the worse, and I knew exactly who was responsible.

And damn those idiotic authors who portrayed getting memories as a simple thing—bloody idiots. I, on the other hand, almost went crazy.

Continuing my mental rant, as if it were some form of mental healing, I slowly opened the sliding door of the living room. Finding it empty, I sneakily entered.

However, who am I to fool my mother? A hand reached for my ear as soon as I entered, pinching it.

"Trying to be sneaky, huh?" A mature, authoritative, yet soft voice remarked.

"I wasn't trying to be sneaky, Mom. I just wanted to surprise you, a little" I explained.

"You're twenty years too early for that, son! Now go wash your hands; I'll set the table," she said, walking away as her mature figure swayed gracefully.

I glanced at her retreating back for a moment before shaking my head and heading to the bathroom.

Maybe because of my bad luck, upon opening the bathroom door and walking in, I had failed to notice a figure already inside.

And everyone knows what happens after that – a classic Lucky Pervert moment. But let me tell you, I am neither a pervert nor is the situation lucky.

"Kyaaaaaaa!!! brother, go away!!"

My heart nearly leapt out of my chest at the shriek before I recognized the familiar voice, causing me to deadpan.

"Hey! Can you stop shouting for a second? It's bursting my eardrums!" I said.

"W-You, why aren't you r-running away!! I am bathing," she stammered saying that while covering her body with her hands.

I responded in an even more deadpan voice, "Really? Are we doing this now "

"Y-yes! You should now run away while being embarrassed!" she insisted, puffing her cheeks.

"But I will not."

"Why?!! It's not fair."

I shook my head at her tantrum, and crouched down to her eye level, and said, "Well, firstly, because you're just nine, which is basically a child and there's literally nothing to watch out for"

"And secondly, I am your brother. What are you even embarrassed about?"

She tried to say something but struggled to form her words at my reply. In the end, she resorted to the ultimate weapon that every little sister in the world had—puffing her cheeks and hymph'ing me away.

*Critical Strike*

Ugh~ this level of cuteness should be illegal otherwise it will kill me someday! She is misusing her powers.

Ultimately I relented to my desires and unleashed them onto her.

"Ahh… Stop! !" she cried out immediately.

But did I stop? Of course not. I continued to playfully play with her soft cheeks, which still had a hint of baby fat on them. It's her facial cheeks by the way.

After having my fill of my little sister's cuteness, I stopped pulling her cheeks, which had gone a little rosy from all of my pulling.

"Urgh! You meanie!. I will complain to Mother," she threatened while massaging her cheeks.

"Yeah, go ahead, after all, you are just a snowflake" I teased her knowing she hated being called snowflake.

"I-I'm not a snowflake! I am a big girl now!" she retorted.

I just shrugged at her, causing her to become even more aggressive. Finally, I put a stop to her playful antics and urged her to finish her bath.

"Finish your bath! Mom is waiting at the table. Or do you want your brother to help, just like the olden days when you always threw a tantrum whenever I wasn't there helping you bathe?" I said with an evil expression, advancing towards her while rubbing my hands together.

"N-no! Don't come any closer" she stuttered, walking backwards, her face embarrassed.

I chuckled at her playful fear, giving her a mischievous grin. "Alright, alright, I was just messing with you. Finish up quickly; we don't want to keep Mom waiting any longer."

She sighed in relief, and I turned to leave the bathroom, letting her continue her bath in peace. But If I had waited a little more, I would have seen the expression of disappointment on her face.

As I walked away, I couldn't help but chuckle at my current life.
