23 Final preparations

After meeting his family in the daimyo council. Eigo had a severe headache. He started all these schemes to trap his Stepmom but now he too was fallen inside it.

The private army which Eigo had created would be a laughing staff in front of the mighty Konoha. Being one of the daimyo official successors may sound cool but is it worth it.

Even though his brother is appointed as heir of the Daimyo position some clans might create friction to gain benefits which may lead to unnecessary struggle. Who knows maybe some clans in His brother and sisters faction try to kill him before gaining any support.

In the same way, creating his faction may lead to unnecessary misunderstanding. Eigo had to speed up all his plans and leave to Fire lord temple.

Eigo directly went to Harliver clans and met the clan head directly.

The clan head of the Harliver clan was a young boy so all the clan activities are done by Arata Harliver one of the elders of the clan. After his servants informed him about Eigo's arrival he was quite worried. "Is Eigo sama planned to become daimyo? , Is he trying to gain support from the Horliver clan?!!!"

After thinking about all that he met Eigo in the guest room.

"Eigo sama it is a pleasure to meet you here. What do you want from this old man?"

"Haha As expected of the righteous man of the elemental nation coming straight to the point. Can I call you Grandpa Arata"

"Yeah, you sure can Eigo San"... Arata led down his guard a little and relaxed.

" What do you think about the daimyo's decision about adding me into the Mononobe clan?"

" I think it's a rash decision adding a new member to a clan may sound good as a family but in a clan where it decides the future daimyo position may indirectly lead to civil war between factions. Especially adding you into the Mononobe clan. You have already had the support of the Tadashi and Tanaka clans as well as you have the support of the common people and new nobles in the capital".

Eigo was quite confused about the support of the Tadashi and the Tanaka clan sounds okay but what did he do to gain the support of some new nobles and common people.

After hearing Arata's word Eigo knew he should leave the capital immediately. Eigo can't change the stores which were making money. As for him helping the common people, it is the opposite he is just taking advantage of them.

After being silent for a while " Arata San I agree with all your comments but if things escalate a bit it may lead to civil strife between factions so I will leave the capital and go to fire lord temple after the spring festival" Eigo said

Arata was astonished by Eigo's insights if Eigo leaves to fire lord temple almost 40% of problems will be solved." Eigo san what do you want me to do? "

"All I ask you is oppose me publically as well as support my sister in case if inheritance issue is raised."

Arata started laughing again. By making Arata as opposition leader Eigo could gain all the clans who are opposing Hideki as daimyo. When Hideki becomes the daimyo it's a matter of time to reduce their influence.

After meeting Arata, Eigo went back to his mansion. Spring festival starts within three days he had to maintain his daily behavior in order to avoid suspicion.
