After Shun announced the successful arrival of his children into the world as well as Hinami's safety, there was another round of celebration around the village.

Although Shun was never actively making friends with the villagers, due to his passive actions and the way he treated everyone alike regardless of gender, age, or status, the villagers all developed a favorable impression of him.

This usually caught Shun off guard whenever they show such zealousness in treating him kindly. Deep down, he knows the reason for his behavior was due to knowing that one day, they'll all die, so making some baseless connections seemed redundant.

Although he thought this, he wasn't going to turn down their good intentions. Also, now that he has brought two babies into this world, there would be a need for a functioning society for them to grow steadily.

After the Initial celebration was done, then came the formal naming ceremony. Shun didn't have to ask anyone to give his children names, after all, he had the perfect names for the twins.

Izanagi and Izanami. The father and mother of the Japanese Gods. Although there wasn't any significance to it, it was better than some otakus would name their children, like Eren Kurosaki Zaraki Yeager.

Anyone of those names would be wonderful really but decided on this. After all, it was the perfect name for fraternal twins as they are different genders.

'If they were two boys I would have gone for Susanno and Kagatsuchi or something. If they were girls would have gone for Tsukiyomi and Amaterasu.' Shun thought while holding the twins after announcing their names.

The crowd accepted the names with smiles. Shun had spent some time explaining the significance of the names to Hinami, how they were names of Gods he thinks exists somewhere out there.

Hinami accepted his explanation albeit reluctantly, after all, she didn't have better names. So the names were accepted by all and then there was another bout of celebration. The entire village was in attendance, and some villagers from Ria's village were also in attendance.

'These villages gats to start coming up with names before I do it for them' Shun thought. 'Afte all, the entirety of this area is called the land of Ancestors. Who even came up with these names?'

During the entire celebration, there were lots of emotions going wild. Shun noticed that most of the girls his age were all looking at him and Hinami with various emotions. One of the most intense was Ria. Her emotions were wild, ranging from happiness, sadness, joy, hope, jealousy, envy, and sometimes guilt.

Shun knew what was going on in these girls' heads, after all, he was likely the most handsome man in existence right now. Narcissistic much?

Cough. Shun didn't consider any of these girls' emotions but he felt conflicted regarding Ria. With his 21st-century mindset, the polygamous relationship was weird as it is, but in these times when such rules were yet to be even thought of, he was conflicted on how he should move forward. Plus, Ria was still in her early teens.

'Sigh, I'll think about it when she grows up some more Shun thought while driving away such thoughts.

This way, weeks passed by, and Shun's time with Hinami was cut short as she had to take care of their every need. She didn't even allow any maids to help her in this regard. She was only free at night when the children were asleep.

Something interesting happened a few days after the children were born. When it was time for them to open their eyes, Shun and Hinami had another debate on how their eyes will turn out. They both agreed that there might be a mutation.

"I'm telling you, their dominant aspect would still have my eye features" Shunnsaid with folded hands.

"Hmph, what d you know? They would have my eyes as a dominant aspect then maybe a little bit of yours." Hinami refuted.

"Hah, you think so? How about we make a bet on it then" Shun suggested.

"Sure. You're on" Hinami agreed.

"Then the prize would be the loser does everything the winner wants for a week. You in?" Shun asked as he raised his hand for a handshake.

"Sure," Hinami said as she shook his hand.

When the babies later opened their eyes, they had a rose-red byakugan. No pupil whatsoever.

"This is a...red. Byakugan?" Shun asked and looked at Hinami, confusion all over his face.

"It's beautiful," Hinami said not paying any mind to Shun's confusion.

Shun looked on, still confused. 'What the fu*k is going on right here?' He thought, 'is the red color a result of a mutation on my part or Hinami's? This is... Weird. Mah. Mah. I'll take it as it comes then.'

Shun threw it at the back of his mind, 'Now it just left for Hinami not to remember the bet. Damn it. Shunnthought as he threw a glance at Hinami only to see her indulged in their beautiful ruby eyes.

Looking at the scene, Shun smiled and said, "beautiful indeed." He flung his hand and threw his Calogram up to take a picture from a good angle. This wasn't the first time Shun was doing this. He had been taking pictures of all the memorable events since their birth.

As the episode was about to end and Shun was leaving the room, Hinami said, "you haven't forgotten the bet now, have you?"

Shun shook and said, "Of course not. I'm a man of my word how can I go back on it?"

"Good, 'cause what I need from throughout this week is too much for me to even mention now. So I'll choose the week and task later on. Is that okay?" She asked with a sweet smile, but to Shun, that smile was anything but sweet.

"Hm" Shun nodded "Of course"

"Good," She said and went back to admiring her children.

'I almost pity those two growing up.' Shun thought as he left the room.

After that, a few more weeks passed by and when Shun thought Hinami may have forgotten about the bet, she came around with a rather obnoxious request.

Shun was as usual relaxing on his reclining chair, the area covered in a potent enough genjutsu when Hinami walked in.

"Shun dear?" She called out.

"Hm?" Shun replied.

"It's time for you to fulfill your end of the deal," she said.

"Oh right" Shun replied and mumbled, "I thought you'd forgotten about that"

"Did you say something?" She asked.

"Not at all. You must be hearing things" Shun replied calmly.

"I thought so too. So, what I am about to ask you is something I have been thinking of for quite some time now." Hinami said.

She looked down sadly and continued. "I have noticed that whenever we make love at night, I am always the one who gets the most pleasure and leave you unsatisfied. I know to you it may be inconsequential but to me, it hurts. It hurts my self-esteem as a woman and I have thought long and hard on how to cover that up and came to two options."

"What is it?" Shun asked. Although what she said was true, he has never thought about it much. He wasn't some sort of sex fiend who'd do anything to be satisfied sexually.

"I want you to make me like you or take another woman. More women even." Hinami said causing Shun to look at her in shock.

"I understand the first option but what's with the second one?" Shun asked in bewilderment. He wasn't angry at all instead he was intrigued.

She had suggested this before due to Ris, but this is another case altogether.

"I know you love me dearly, I love you too. Recently I've seen the looks the girls around give you and although I feel prideful, I also seem to understand that sharing you with them would mean that they too would feel the same pride I feel about you, and that's something I don't want. Ria is an exception though. I acknowledge her, but not others."

She paused and then looked Shun deep in the eyes and continued.

"What I want is for you to take in Ria. I recently understand why you think she's young but that doesn't matter now. I know you'd give the same excuse as 'she's too young' so I won't push it. If hats the case, I want you to make me strong enough to keep up with you"

Shun looked at Hinami with an endearing smile and said. "That's one weird request you got there. You know you could have just asked and I would have done that, right?"

"Un" Hinami nodded and said, "but we both know there's nothing I could ever ask that would be more than what we already have. So after some time thinking, I ended up with this."

"Hm. That's true but you know Nami, to make you as strong as me, you'd first have to have a perfect mastery of the breathing technique I gave you. Total concentration constant. That's the state that even when sleeping, eating, fighting, and talking, you continue revolving the energies in you and around you." Shun said and paused.

"I know you've been trying your best but I would advise you to reach the peak first. If I forcefully use my chakra and Open all your inner gates, it would damage your spiritual sea and we wouldn't want that now would we?" Shun explained.

Hinami shook her head.

"Good. As for the harem plan, that can wait. In all honesty, I've been having this thought for quite some time now. I'm not some dense harem protagonist you know." Shun said.

"What's a harem protagonist?" Hinami tilted her head in confusion.

"That's for you to find out later. Now, I would take what you said into consideration about women. As for Ria, I promise that as soon as she clicks eighteen and still bears feelings for me, I would reciprocate sincerely. Till then, I can endure. Three more years till she's eighteen, won't you put in more effort so that even without Ria, you'd be able to keep up?" Shun explained and finished teasingly.

"Un. I'll put in the effort," Hinami replied, oblivious to the tease.

After that, apart from taking care of little Nagi and Nami, she put her entire effort into the breathing technique. As shuns their original derivative, her explosion style-based breathing technique focuses on making her strong both physically and spiritually.

With perfect mastery of it, Shun speculated that she would be able to further evolve her Byakugan into a Tenseigan, further strengthen her spiritual sea and achieve a derivative sage body based on explosions.

Those were speculations though, it would all depend on how she goes about it.

During this time, Shun and Kaguya met a few times. Shun noticed that the air around her has changed entirely. Ahe now seemed like a young girl who just began experiencing life rather that the experienced boss lady she felt like previously.

When Shun asked, her response was, "what do you mean? I'm merely in my late sixties. Isn't that young in these worlds in these books? I would make for a young miss even at a hundred years of age"

And that's how Kaguya became a young lady in her sixties. Shun wasn't bothered by it though as he believed that even at the start of cannon, he'd still be a young man. The centuries be damned.

As weeks turned to months, Shun's children showed their peculiarities as they rarely cried for stupid reasons except when they were hungry or needed attention.

Shun also noticed that they weren't picky about who carried them though the little sister Nami preferred being carried alongside her big brother Nagi.

Whenever the maids carried them from Hinami, she would always protest to be carried too. They only stay separate when Shun or Hinami carried them.

At barely 6 months of birth, they already spoke their first words. For Izanagi, it was "hn" while for Izanami It was "dada"

Shun had to hold himself from storming Indra's mountain and shoving his head up his ass for whatever influence he had on little Nagi.

Nami preferred being carried by Shun while Iznagi looked like he couldn't care less about who carried him. Making Hinami swoon at his 'cool' demeanor.

'He's a kid for crying out loud' Shun screamed in his head but kept a calm smile whenever this happened.

Although Izanagi was peculiar, he was still a child around Hinami, Shun, and Izanami.

Around the other kids, although he was the youngest there, his demeanor made him seem aloof and superior to his cousins.

That was a cause for concern according to Shun but Hinami said he only had the bearing of a 'Supreme master'.

'Effects of Cultivation novels, huh' Shun thought in the resignment. He dropped the idea later on though. As he grows things would be sorted into place.

"Hah, if he was born during the shinobi era, he'd make for a good Uchiha," Shun said to himself.
