Title: Rōran

...

The day passed and the next day, Shun awoke to see Kaguya already on her research.

"Morning, princess." He greeted as he stood up. Unlike what you'd expect from someone who just had a nap, he wasn't groggy at all.

"Morning, dear. How was the sleep?" Kaguya turned and smiled sweetly.

"The usual. It's not like it makes a difference." Shun said and stretched a little out of habit. "I'ma go check up on Nami and Ria. I kinda need their help."

"What for? You know they're putting their all to make this city into a prosperous one right?" Kaguya asked with furrowed brow.

"And?" Shun asked in confusion.

"And you're not one to take on responsibility. They're doing what you should be doing so I hope you don't go disturbing them." Kaguya said.

Shun had been the one to begin this entire thing the moment he made the HQ of the bank in this city that was once a Village. With the innovative idea of the bank and the security it provided the village, more and more civilians migrated and now, it was a bustling city.

Shun has always been an advocate of letting the humans develope by themselves but Hinami and Ria knew that without proper guidance, there won't be a proper development in the first place.

Hence, they took it upon themselves to teach the civilians some things they've learned over the years from Shun's extensive knowledge.

"Well, atleast, they're using what I taught them, right?" Shun said smugly.

"Uh, no... That's what they learned, you didn't teach them that much, don't forget I was in your head. You always say something and then throw out a book or two and leave them on their own." Kaguya said much to Shun's dissatisfaction.

"Hello, that's me teaching. That's what is called learning. If they had decided to not read the book I gave, then they wouldn't be here, so in a way, I taught them." Shun 'corrected.'

"Sigh, whatever you say dear. Also, I heard from Nami that you're training my grandchildren reincarnation, is that why you're looking for them?" Kaguya asked diverting the topic.

"Yeah. In a few days time, their little brothers will snitch on them to their fathers and they won't have the opportunity to come train with me again. I need to make use of this opportunity to strengthen them as much as possible." Shun replied.

"Can't you just abduct them like the other ones in the past?" Kaguya asked.

Shun shook his head. "That'll be bad. They have a 'destiny' to fulfill and me kidnapping them would subvert that."

"Is this about the prophecy child?" She asked with interest.

"Yeah. They're the.. forerunners, so to say. What they do will affect the future on a planetary scale. By my calculations, in 100 years, the entire cycle will come to an end." Shun said.

"Poor boys. When I meet that brat Hagoromo, I'll teach him a thing or two about bringing up kids." Kaguya frowned in sadness.

'You're one to talk, princess,' Shun thought to himself as he maintained his smile on the outside. "I'll just have them provide me with a month's worth of medicinal bath for The two boys."

"It must be a gruelling training if you need a month's worth, or is it related to the snitching?" Kaguya asked.

"Yup, I estimate that their little get together will blow up even before then so I'll make use of every day to build a good enough foundation for their future." Shun said and turned around to leave.

"Okay. You do you. When there's progress with this time travel machine of yours I'll let you know." Kaguya waved him goodbye and turned to her work.

...

Coming out of the basement and back to the main hall, Shun proceeded to the dining room where he assumed Hinami and Ria would be at.

Despite not needing sustenance any longer, they all still partook in something to make them look more human.

"Heya, Nami-chan, Ria-chan. What's new?" Shun greeted the two who were discussing some infrastructural stuff they planned on introducing to the city folks without developing them too much.

Shun had made a policy against doing anything that would attract unnecessary attention to them. Unfortunately, this city had already attracted attention from numerous Daimyos, both big and small time Daimyos.

They had even hired clans to destroy this city despite the presence of the Bank HQ. Unfortunately, those clans members that participated met their unfortunate demise before they could even near the city.

Other clans that knew or had some inside information about the Bank's origin never attempted to make an enemy of them.

"Nothing is new, Shun. If only you'd pay a little attention to the things you do." Ria said in annoyance.

Shun chuckled. "Ria-tan you can't say that you know. You two are using my knowledge to do some good. Of course I'm going to be paying attention."

"Mm hmm." Hinami just hummed.

"What? You don't believe me? That little project of yours to generate electricity and supply it to all the houses via chakra metals through the air is your recent project right?"

"Anybody can find that out with a casual sweep of their spiritual senses." Hinami said nonchalantly without betraying any other emotion.

"Uh.. I don't think so. No one can do that except the sage animals. Even the Hyugas won't understand even if they see it." Shun smirked victoriously.

There was a moment of silence as what Shun said seemed to be true. "Your clones could've kept you informed." Ria said indignantly.

"Then wouldn't that mean I was paying attention? Also, I'm pretty sure you'd have known if my clone was around." Shun defended.

"But.. buh.." Ria tried to find another problem with that logic.

"Just drop it, if he said he was paying attention then he was. What do you need this time?" Hinami asked, her tone filled with indifference.

"Aww, Nami dear, you make it sound like I only come around to ask something of you? Don't forget when you come around asking for some bodily attention." Shun cooed.

Hinami's indifferent face twisted for a moment before returning back to its indifferent state, but the reddish tint in her cheeks betrayed her.

"Just say why you're here, Shun." She asked.

"Haha, fine. I need some medicinal solutions for tempering the body after a good exercise, it should also have a mind calming property added to it. In exchange, you can ask for anything anytime and I'll deliver." Shun smiled as he made his request.

"Is it for Indra and Ashura's reincarnations'? Nami-nee mentioned you're training them this time around, what brought up the change?" Ria asked.

"It's almost time for the so called prophecy child to be born, around 100+ years. The two of them are going to be laying a foundation for that. Doesn't that sound interesting?"

Ria shook her head. "Nah, it doesn't. I wonder why they're still reincarnating. Can't they find a common ground or something?"

"That's the point. The so called child of prophecy will be the one to finally end it all. The entire cycle, everything. And finally this world can develop properly." Shun intoned.

"Anyways, the solution?" Shun asked.

"It'll be with you in a sec." Hinami who had her eyes closed said and in a few moments, a bottle appeared on the table they were sitting at with a pristine green liquid inside.

"That's should be enough for a long time. A drop will do the trick. Ria, with me." She said and stood up, before leaving the dinner hall. Ria stood up and gave Shun a kiss on the lips before following behind her.

Looking at the pristine green liquid, Shun couldn't help but be embarrassed when he remembered his horrendous concoction from the day before. Thankfully, no one was there to bear witness to it. Except Eien of course.

Stowing it away, he stood up and teleported to the skies above the city his wives were putting their efforts into developing.

As he had said before, he had been keeping a close watch on this place without them knowing, they would have also noticed a Calogram energy waves If he had sent one.

His Divine sense was Overpowered enough to envelope the entire planet but to avoid much spoilers, he stretched it in a straight line to this city.

To say be was proud of their work would be cutting it short. No. He was beyond that, elated that they were doing something they found joy in.

Hinami may not show it but she felt sad whenever a human friend of hers dies. Ria too, but they hide it by taking in new children, training and teaching them properly and developing this place little by little.

Unlike him who has an idea on what's to come, they were following him blindly so he had an obligation to make sure that they find their own happiness.

Thankfully, it was all going well.

Despite his repeated warnings of not developing too fast, if they really did develop too fast, he wouldn't still say a thing but make sure the knowledge of whatever is acquired here never leaves this place.

Those two may not know the harm they were causing to him who wanted to preserve the Canon as much as he could now, by doing what they do, but he wouldn't complain, he was the one that decided to bring them along with him on this journey of his so he can only make sure he cleaned up after them.

Taking one last look at the overhead cables connecting the houses together to transfer electricity, he smiled gently and then teleported back to the mountain that will soon bear the face of the Hokages.

...

Kaguya who was at the basement of the mansion Shun had just left, looked at the green mass of energy that was contained in a seal Shun had erected around it to prevent it from running rampant suddenly began fluctuating.

The energy fluctuation became so intense that she had to back away as not to do something that would come back to bite her in the ass later, as Shun always says.

As she stepped back, she noticed the fluctuation calm for a brief second before a scene that left her flabbergasted took place.

Inside the green energy, she caught sight of people that have her a familiar feeling, how that was possible left her stumped.

In the scene, the boy had a blond hair, blue eyes white T-shirt and a black long sleeved jacket over-all with black pants.

The other boy was dark haired and had a white shirt sleeve shirt with shorts. This one boy had a sword strapped behind him as he ran beside the other boy.

The surrounding seemed oddly familiar to her as that place was Rōran but dilapidated, not entirely ruined but destroyed when compared to beautiful city she knew all to well about.

Another thing of note was that the buildings seemed to have become even taller than they were currently.

All this transpired in a second and if not for her keen eyesight, she wouldn't have seen anything at all.

Pondering on what this meant, she found she couldn't come up with any conclusions. Who could possibly destroy this place with Shun watching over it and the three of them residing there?

Could they have moved out or something?

She thought to inform Shun of this matter but as he had just left, she didn't think it would be nice calling him back so she put it at the back of her head to tell this to Shun when she met him again.

As for what that scene was, only the future would tell, Shun had that policy and strangely enough, she too found that this policy made their current life more enjoyable.. well, until it comes to bite you in the ass in the future.
