Naruto: Back in Ancient Times

A young man from the earth after a slightly tragic and short life gets the option of reincarnating into the naruto world with any timeline of his choosing and wishes. Watch as he lives in the world during the era after the Ten-Tails sealing //// I've read a lot of fanfictions on a lot of anime and what they all have in common is that you'd hardly find one that goes ways back. For example, most Naruto fanfiction I've read only features either Minato's generation, Kalashi's generation Itachi's, or Naruto's you'd rarely see anyone about Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru's generation not to talk of Madara and Hashirama. I've always been fascinated by the ancient times of almost all anime that has an ancient past. DXD, DC, Marvel, One Piece, Bleach, Tensura, and many more. With this in mind, I decided to write a story from way back in the era of Indra and Ashura. There will be skills from different animes and mangas, just to let you know. The volume two would have lots of characteristics from Cultivation worlds ways of writing. So please, read at your own discretion. Every ability or theory I come up with is what it is. Deal with it like that or don't bother reading at all. Constructive Criticism is very much encouraged however. This is my first novel guys and I don't own the basic principles in the novel. I either borrow or come up with a different one altogether. **** Join my Patre@n at patre@n.com/JoshRichie2 to support my endeavors. There are 100+ chapters there. *** Hope y'all enjoy it.

Title: POV

....

To say that Ishikki was furious would be an understatement. No. He was rageful. To think that someone of lower standing than him would be able to make him feel so dreadful.

Yes. Although he was rageful, he knew to keep his arrogance in check. Centuries of being weak has taught him a great deal.

For the past couple centuries, he had observed the growth of the the humans Kaguya sought to protect, first was the children she gave birth to that ended up sealing her for God knows what, then the children who were strong to absurd degrees that even made feel a little bit threatened in his current predicament.

That was just those two, but then there was their third brother of pure human origin who was able to become strong to astonishing degrees that he put those two in their place for so long.

The amount of chakra in him was enough to make Ishikki feel dread. Dread because this human was just a human, nothing else. No unique bloodline or variant bloodlines like the Otsustsuki. None of those, just a pure human but he was able to reach a strength that will put him on the peak of the younger ones in the outer universe.

To top this all of, he was able to accomplish this in a couple years of being alive. If that wasn't monstrous then even I don't know what it is. Thankfully, he was human

Humans were a fragile and short lived species and with the passing of time, he too would cease to exist.

Time passed and with it came the decline in strength of the various humans.

Things of interest kept on occuring and re-occuring over the years, people with similar chakra as those two brats kept reappearing, thankfully their strengths were quite low. However another set of reoccurring Chakra surfaced.

A boy and a girl which Ishikki recognised as the brat of that monstrous human. He had been glad that that Human's chakra suddenly vanished after a couple years but then, these two brats had an even greater chakra that the other two chakra.

With his mentality as the superior race, he had tried seizing the body of the male in hopes of converting it into a perfect vessel only to be trapped for close to a century in the mind of the male.

Thankfully, he too died and despite his efforts in sealing him away, The Otsustsuki were quite versed in the art of sealing and with a couple years, he was able to break free.

This taught him a very valuable lesson, pride without strength to back it up was mere foolishness. During the lifetime of the male reincarnate, he had seen how he had lived his life despite being able to rule the entire human race.

During a conversation with him, he had asked why he doesn't desire being a ruler. The boy looked at him like an idiot and said. "In this life, all are born equal. Nothing put me above the others, I am special today because of my father, what if an existence like my father comes into existence in the near future and makes me his enemy?"

Ishikki had answered, "I'll just have to kill him in the bud."

The boy shook his head and looked at Ishikki pitifully and said. "That'll just serve to make him stronger. I don't know how it is for you aliens, but from the many world's father made us experience back then, special people are always loved by the world and whatever misfortune they encounter only serve to make them stronger."

"That's impossible. When you're strong, you just have to command the world and the world will do your bidding." Ishikki argued.

"Idiot." The looked at him in disdain and kept silent for a while before saying. "The world itself has no emotion but we forget we were made from the world and to the world we will return to. If a group of a million stand before me with a united Will, No matter how strong I am, I will lose. That's the world I'm talking about. Why do you think my elder uncle always lose to my second uncle? The will of the people is with him and therefore guarantees his victory, that is, if there's no external influences, mind you. Why am I even talking with you?" The boy finished and shut down whatever connection he had with Ishikki's consciousness.

Ishikki had taken his time to contemplate what the little boy had said that day and for the coming years, he observed the humans and came to another conclusion.

The humans can never be united as one.

His reason was due to the diversity in sprouting bloodlines. He had discovered that this planet was still a new born in terms of evolutionary history.

With its growth, comes the emergence of special abilities but unlike the Otsustsuki with it millennium history, there wasn't any hope of these different people coming together as one.

With that thought, he resumed his quest of finding a proper body.

The various clans were an option but without much of a thought to it, he removed that monsters clan from his targets. He also crossed off the clans that had any bloodline connection with the Bitch that landed him in this state.

And the result of all that was his current body, Jigen. This was by far his most proper host and this body had the potential to live for as long as possible, or so he thought since there wasn't any signs of it deteriorating.

Years passed and suddenly, Ishikki felt an overwhelmingly heavy pressure descend on the entire planet, planet, because he could feel the planet rumbling for a few seconds before stabilizing.

At first he thought someone on the level of his father had come looking for him, but then he thought against it. This pressure was anything like his family.

A thought suddenly struck him. What if the living beings of this planet were all crushed by that pressure? Wouldn't it be detrimental to his recovery? Spreading his senses, he found that it had minimal effects on the humans.

"Seems like it was heavier for me as I am stronger?" Ishikki mused to himself.

During his search, he caught sight of a beautiful castle floating in the skies of the planet for an even longer time before fizzling out of existence but his instinct told him it was still there.

He tried flying up there but was met with a pressure that threated to destroy his soul.

As a living being, the fear of death is an integral path of existence and with that fear came caution. And with that caution came countermeasures.

Deep down, he felt that the aura that came with that pressure was familiar but the problem was identifying it's source.

It took him a good while to finally put the pieces together to come to a rather astonishing conclusion.

-The monster from back then wasn't dead but simply left the planet, probably out of curiosity.-

But then, didn't he die? Did he fake his death? If he didn't die, how did he manage to live for so long? Humans were still in the early stages of their development, there was no way someone would be able to find the key to immortality.

All these thoughts ran through his head as fear of the unknown began to take root in him.

He attempted several times over the centuries to get a good look at the castle above the skies just for the sake of it but was left injured on those occasions.

Around two centuries later, he felt the castle come back into existence but before he could fly up there to get the attention of whoever was inside, he saw two extremely beautiful women flying out of the castle.

The aura on those women further terrified him as he felt that these two were probably existences on the True King level of the celestial realms. "No wonder my soul was being injured by mere coming close to the place." He thought to himself not knowing how wrong he was.

Fast forward a couple years and lo and behold, the very human that had the very same appearance, though with a further beautified aura similar to the one that came with the pressure years ago and chakra so vast that he felt himself sinking into an abyss of nothingness when he tried probing, appeared once more.

Ishikki noticed that he began making moves, training some little humans here and there, causing rain where some humans prayed for one, doing things so randomly that it was unnerving.

Something told me he wasn't just doing things randomly. I had met the Black Kama Seal left behind by Kaguya prior to her sealing and from what it had told me, this human was anything but simple.

Maybe I was overthinking but I decided to meet him. Of course I wouldn't meet him in person, although I don't trust The Black Kama, I wouldn't put it out of my mind that this human might be in cahoots with Kaguya.

After all, how can just any human reach this level of power without any known predecessors?

With that thought I sent over my consciousness into the dimension he had been staying in for sometime. I must say, if not for my already good comprehensive knowledge on space, I might have gotten lost in that dimension of his.

Taking a deep breath, Ishikki managed to calm the rage that was welling up inside him and thought on what that human had said. He wouldn't side with anyone but the humans, since that's the case, I just need to use the humans against him when the time comes, and since there's no prior knowledge on human physiology except in that clan of his, I just have to find a human and send him over there to learn as much as possible or just find a man already versed in the knowledge of the human body and then begin my project...
