Title: The Night End.

Kurama's POV

The hell? I thought I heard Aniki's voice just now... That's weird. None of us siblings had gotten in contact with Aniki since that accursed Uchiha took me hostage and Hashirama sealed us all away for fear of our power.

Hearing his voice now... Did something urgent happen to him? Or does he know of my plight right now?

First of all, where has he even been? He said he's traveling outside the planet with his women but that's it.

Did he perhaps get into trouble? I think I should talk with the others. But first, these unpleasant humans.

By killing this baby, their vessels for sealing me away will be null as both Minato and Kushina would soon be dead. With them dead, no one should be able to stop me from leaving.

That old third is also a problem but he isn't something I can't handle. Compared to the monsters I've fought, he shouldn't count as an ant.

At least this Minato is a slightly annoying ant. If only I could transform into my human form. I could easily sweep them away. Unfortunately, these accursed Uzumaki chains.

Shun's POV.

Seeing the things happening going along the same way they did in the plot, I immediately understood that plot wasn't really on my side, it was just pleasing me to go around me and get its desired effect.

Accelerating my thoughts to the limits it could take, I immediately focused on swapping Minato, Kushina and the baby Naruto with the pebbles around me.

Normally, I would've flashed to behind Minato but I knew I couldn't really stop Kurama's claw from ripping through me despite my overpowered nature.

BOOM!!

Kurama's claw rammed into the rocks and shattered them much to his displeasure, but Kushina was quick to react and strengthened her hold on him.

I'm not betraying him, mind you, I'm just making sure he acclimates to the coming change. With him in Naruto, humans would be more receptive to him after the war is over. It did play out that way in the canon and it would do so here too.

"Thanks again... Shun." Minato eyed me with tired eyes and gave a smile that made my chest hurt, alas...

"There's a child!" Someone shouted from outside the barrier. What was this guy's problem? Do they always have to say the obvious?

"They saved it. As expected of the Yellow Flash." Another idiot said.

"No... That's substitution." Another random and slightly intelligent person said.

"You...!!" Kurama looked at me and growled out threateningly. He must've discovered the minute change in the area. I smiled and put a finger on my mouth but he took it as ridicule and growled even more threateningly.

The hell is wrong with everyone today?

[Kuchiyose no Jutsu] Minato said and a rather long Toad appeared. "Hmm?" He looked around while bouncing only to spot Kurama and... "Whoa!! K-k-Kyuubi!!- Hey Minato! What's up with you?!"

"Gamatora... I'm gonna give you... The Fuin Key... When I'm done..go straight to Jiraiya-sensei..and have him take you in." Minato said.

"That's it!" One idiot shouted from behind the barrier... Oh, it's just Hiruzen. "Minato plans to save the village by making his own son the Jinchuriki."

Hmm? So everyone out there did know? Then why was the treatment of Naruto that bad in the village? Well, that was in the anime... I dare anyone to overly treat him badly.

"I affirm that I've received the key. And now... I'm off!" The Toad, Gamatora said and instantly disappeared.

Hmm? Was it just me or did he seem particularly in a hurry to leave? Heh. Kurama must have quite the sway amongst beasts.

"Now we're safe." Minato said, and at that moment, the Demon behind pulled out his knife once more to collect his debt. "Kushina, I don't think I have much time left. I am going to seal the Kyuubi. I also want to put some of my chakra inside the seal... I won't be seeing him for a while." He said as tears welled up in his eyes.

Sigh... Now I feel bad for what I'm about to do. Kushina looked at me and I nodded.

Rubbing Naruto'a head, he said. "Don't be a picky eater Naruto, eat a lot and grow well. Make sure to bathe everyday and stay warm. Don't stay up late and get plenty of sleep."

Hmm, this incident seems to be reversed. Is it because he's the one dying? Hmm.

"Also, make friends at the academy, you don't need tons, just a few that you can truly trust. Study lots, your mother is bad at this stuff but I'm sure you'll manage. Learn a lot of Ninjutsu but don't force yourself. Everyone is good at some things and not so good at others."

That's true in many cases, but don't worry, Naruto would be a walking library of knowledge before he reaches seventeen.

"At the academy, respect your teachers and those upperclassmen. Oh... And this is very important, though I think your mother will make sure of it. Regarding the three prohibitions of Shinobi, especially money...be careful about loaning and borrowing."

"Make sure to studiously deposit your mission pay. And don't start drinking until you're 18... Too much sake is bad for your body so drink in moderation."

"And the most problematic... Girls. I'm a man so I know but I believe your mother will also see to it that you pick someone nice like her. Just be careful... Don't fall for the first girl that comes your way... If worse comes to worst, find someone like your mother."

Cough!! Kushina coughed and I shook my head. I didn't know Minato was this funny. If worse comes to worst? Damn bro...

"Also, be wary of Jiraiya-sensei... Sniff!" Minato choked due to the tears he was spilling. "Naruto... There'll be plenty of hard and painful times ahead. Take care of yourself. Make sure to have dreams and the confidence to make those dreams come true. So much to say...so so much but so little time."

Damn, seeing guys like Minato cry really does hit differently. "There's so much I want to tell you... I want to be with you longer... I've waited for you for so, so long. Sniff. Naruto... I love you."

Passing Naruto back to Kushina, Minato looked at me and said, "Please take care of them for me... You're so much stronger than I thought. Please... Protect them."

Wiping the tears away from my eyes, I put on a smile and said. "Don't worry Nii-san, this is the third time already and for the Third time, I assure you... I will."

Nodding at that, be looked at Kushina and said. "Thank you."

"Minato..."

"Let me finish... Thank you for being there with and for me through it all... I couldn't have held on if not for you... You were my home... You were my only light in the darkness that was this world, and for that, I'm thankful... Do take care of yourself... Fuin!" He finished.

At that moment, Kurama who was still standing was sucked into the little black hole that was on Naruto's stomach, but just as his entire chakra was about to enter Naruto, I cropped out an entire Tail worth of chakra and directed it into Kushina.

Both Minato and Kushina were first alarmed before Minato had an understanding light in his eyes and smiled. Unfortunately, the Demon behind him ripped out his soul before he could say anything and swallowed him whole.

Thankfully, Kushina was overwhelmed by the insertion of Chakra and was passed out. Seeing your loved one being killed so gruesomely was not good for the mind at all.

WAAH. WAAH. WAAH.

Naruto who just became Kurama's vessel was crying out his baby voice due to the pain and probably due to the feeling of loss I was also currently feeling.

Minato and Kushina have been nothing but kind to me these past six months I've been staying with them... There was no way I wouldn't feel a little bit lost.

Crack!!

Hmm... Seems like the barrier has been destroyed, after all, Minato the creator is gone so there's no chakra sustaining it anymore.

"Hmm." I idly thought. What was I to do about this? I picked up the wailing Naruto and began rocking him to calm him down. I was also exuding my Natural Energy to sooth him.

Mind you, my Natural Energy was not my Senjutsu or Spiritual Energy. It was my essence of being. My very Soul's Energy. It was the same Energy I was feeling lying dormant inside Naruto.

I only had a fragment of the original but this was enough for the dormant Ashura's chakra to blaze a little, calming the infant down.

Swish. Swish. Swish. Swish.

The sound of multiple people flickering to the scene resounded but Shun remained unperturbed as he continued rocking Naruto.

"Shun. You're here." Hiruzen said.

"And you're late." Shun said nonchalantly.

"Brat! Do you know who you're talking to!?" One enraged Shinobi amongst the group of enraged Shinobi said, making me look at him and put into a Genjutsu.

In a second, he was bleeding from his orifices and fell down half dead. Hiruzen frowned. "What did you do to him?"

"Nothing much, he'll just be bedridden for a few weeks." I said calmly and turned to Kushina. "Should teach him to better control his emotions. He's a Shinobi for crying out loud."

General POV.

"Hmm." Hiruzen hummed as he eyed the little boy whom he had met a few times, carrying whom he presumed to be Minato and Kushina's son.

For some reason, the presence the boy gave off was frightening even to him who had been to hell and back during the 60+ years of his life.

"Perhaps..."

"Lord Third!!" Some aggrieved Jounins shouted but Hiruzen raised his hand at them to calm them down.

"What happened to Minato and Kushina?" He asked. "Nii-san is dead... Nee-san is... asleep." Shun said as he wiped off the blood stains on Kushina's face.

Then placing Naruto near her face, he whispered. "That's your mother right there... It will be some time before you can meet her."

Then bringing out the necklace I had given to Kushina in the past, poured some energy into it and ripped out Kushina's wounded soul and put it inside while pouring my energy to heal her up fast.

This way, her body would regenerate and acclimate to the new Kyuubi Chakra, making her something similar to Sora but more controlled.

{A\N: Sora is the guy that had the remnant chakra of the Kyuubi sealed in him... Making him a pseudo Jinchuriki.}

As I had personally put Kurama's chakra in her, she won't be influenced by it, instead, it would merge with hers making her an even fearsome human when she awakens.

An entire Tail worth of Chakra from the Kyuubi no less... Only Tsunade could hope to match her in chakra amount.

"What did you just do?" Hiruzen asked warily. "What was that light?"

"Hmm? I was healing Nee-san. Unfortunately, she won't be waking up anytime soon." Shun said lightly. "I'll be taking care of Naruto for the foreseeable future."

Leaving that sentence, he proceeded to walk past Hiruzen. "Do send some Medical Ninjas to take proper care of Nii-san and Nee-san... especially Nee-san. If anything happens to her..."

Shun flared his Aura directed at only him and then flickered away.

"Lord Third!" New arrivals greeted as soon as they came to the scene.

"Hiruzen, what happened here?" An old sounding voice asked, not standing on ceremony at all.

"Danzo. Where were you during this entire battle?" Hiruzen asked in annoyance.

"I was making sure no one snuck into the sealed room to make away with village secrets." Danzo answers fluidly as though he was sincere but Hiruzen had known him for so long to know he was lying.

"Danzo-!"

"Hiruzen, what happened to Minato and the Jinchuriki." Danzo interrupted and asked.

'Calling her Jinchuriki... He should be thankful that brat isn't here.' Hiruzen thought. "We lost Minato, as for Kushina, she's alive but lost the Kyuubi."

"What!!" Danzo knocked his stick on the ground in anger. "How could you be so relaxed saying such things? If the other villages get a whiff of this then we're done for."

"We'll talk about this later. For now, no one should mention anything they saw here to anyone." He said and created a clone. One went to take the body of Minato while the original picked up Kushina.

"We're leaving." Hiruzen said and flickered back to the village.

Shun's POV.

Damnit. At the rate I'm going in doing these things, I'll lose a good portion of my spiritual energy before the Fourth Shinobi war.

Helping the pregnant Hyuga was one thing, but ripping out Kushina's soul and healing her inside this pendant filled with my Spiritual Energy is me just being wasteful but alas... The things we do for family.

This pendant was something unique, similar to the one I have Mikoto for Sasuke.

Centuries ago, I had left a particular seal in both Indra and Ashura's soul. The same soul they continued to reincarnate till this very point in time.

I had unlocked the seal a little to allow Madara and Hashirama access to knowledge from centuries ago but with this pending, Naruto and Sasuke could get everything their past reincarnations had.

From knowledge, to experiences to techniques. The only problem was that they had to work for it.

I had just hoped that as they grew the knowledge would pour into them but as I became a God, I decided to create a system. This system was supposed to be their guide.

Give them the mandatory 100 sit-up, push-up, squats and 10km run, give them quests depending on their situation and thought process as a means of cultivating a firm will. Give them rewards in form of techniques, knowledge and experiencing something from their past reincarnations.

Now however, by putting Kushina inside this pendant, when the seal and the pendant activate, she would be something akin to the System AI.

This way, she'll be able to watch Naruto's every movement, guide him properly from close by while also punishing him how she sees fit while also close by.

She would have the power to bestow any reward of her choice, afterall, she would get access to everything.

I won't be explaining much about it myself as I left a soul imprint in there to tell her what she needs to know... Maybe when she gets a body and wants to ask whatever she wishes to ask, everyone would already know who I am.

In a way, this was favoring Naruto over Sasuke but that will be the case since Sasuke will have his family.

Well, if my influence is unable to deter fate all that much, I could still send down the Hand of God once more, transporting the Uchiha clan to Eiengar while making Mikoto Sasuke's AI.

It would pain me to know that Itachi would still kill Izumi over some small and short peace.

Creak...

I opened the door to Minato's house and looked around to see Yusano sitting at the dining table while looking at the door intently. She knew Kushina was giving birth but unlike me, she didn't know the location, causing her anxiety.

"I'm back." I said somberly.

"Welcome back!" She jumped from her chair and ran up to me. "Kyaa! Is this Naruto? He's so cute!" She squealed and took Naruto away from me.

Sigh. Women.

After playing with Naruto for a while, she looked at me and asked. "And Nee-san? How is she? Nii-san too."

"You'll need to sit down for this." I said and sat down while motioning for her to follow suit.

Seeing my gestures, her body movements made me understand that she knew something was wrong but didn't know what exactly.

'Quite perceptive. As expected of my sister.' I thought. "Well... It all started..."
