11 Minato VS Kaname |Tournament 3/5|

Like he emerged out of the shadows Kaname appeared in front of Minato's clone on the left as his [Afterimage Clone] appeared on the right after a body flicker blitzing the left's counterpart.

{Kaname POV}

I quickly rushed my foot into Minato's clone stomach area using my momentum to accelerate my leg into the clone's gut but it was evaded as Minato's clone jumped headfirst into a backwards handspring.

Not letting up I rushed chakra into my legs, boosting my speed I took out three shuriken with extreme precision pinning him down, trapping him into his handspring almost on his way up, I made my way over and stomped into the clones chest causing the clone to disperse.

I looked to my left as my [Afterimage Clone} finished beating Minato's second clone down. The intangibility mixed with the tangibility to hit and not take damage gave my clone an edge and obtained the victory.

Minato made his way back onto the platform with a smoke effect as I sent my [Afterimage Clone] to deal with him while I rested mentally, collecting my thoughts.

As he engaged into battle with the use of his intangibility and tangibility led Minato onto the defensive steadily trying to create space.

{Minato's POV}

I wiped the sweat from off of my forehead, Kaname's Clone really did a number on me and if I wanted to win I needed to create a strategy to get out of this mess. As I briefly went over Kaname's clones abilities, he can make himself almost nonexistent but when he attacks me it's a solidified punch.... WAIT! that must be it.

At that moment in time he becomes solidified and I could use that against him… hopefully what I'm gonna do will work as I crossed my fingers quickly.

Rushing his enemy Minato closed the distance taking an aggressive approach.

Up in my enemies face, I took an aggressive defensive approach. As soon as the clone decided to attack me, I grabbed his arm twisting it then kneeing the clone in the stomach. It's durability was insanely weak, but re-engineering such a monstrous jutsu like that must come with its weaknesses.

{Kaname's POV}

'Hmph, of course a guy like Minato would find out the weakness of my jutsu and it was a great one at that.'

Sadly, he was at a great disadvantage. He was tired mentally and physically while his chakra reserves ran low, he created two shadow clones earlier and used a wind ninjutsu and shadow shuriken jutsu.

Plus I have better Taijutsu then Minato, the only reason he even made it this far was because of his Ninjutsu and him creating distance, Anyway I will end this quickly.'

I body flickered in front of Minato, kicking him in the gut only for it to be blocked his forearm, the shockwaves ran through his bones as his eyes reverberated with pain. I then used my momentum to send a left handed haymaker into his gut for sure this time followed by a right. His eyes went blank and saliva flew out of his O-shaped mouth, as the crowd roared.

"YES! YES! YES! YES!"

"OHHHH MYYYY GODDDD!!!"

"AWESOME!!"

"WHAT A FIGHTT"

"NO WAYYY!"

"SUCH MONSTERS, BRILLIANT! BRILLIANT!"

Kaname won this match due to KO, while the crowd roared with cheer. This was a marvelous fight. Many civilians never saw a jutsu much less a ninja fight and movies had nothing on this even Danzō and Hiruzen were shocked by the skill and genius these two possessed 'IMPOSSIBLE' is what they're thoughts screamed into their heads, which kept them hanging onto their sanity. The two were revered as geniuses from this day on out.

{Hiruzen's & Danzō's POV}

Me and Danzō both locked eyes. Danzō was the first to express himself. "Hiruzen.. these children, they must be removed from the academy and be put into an apprenticeship. They're simply wasting time here if they had a bit of direction, resources and experience they can possibly even surpass your students."

"Those were my exact thoughts but we cannot force them to leave the academy, we both know that they'll leave the academy sooner than not. Besides children are children, we're taking that away from them anyway a year, two or three won't hurt at all."

"From this show of excellence and genius we must give out some techniques as gifts. I'm sure they'll be more than happy, but I must say that fight was phenomenal."

"Indeed" as much as Danzō enjoyed the fight and was marveled at these two's excellence, he couldn't help but steer that awe into prejudice and fear from the Uchiha's up and coming new generation. Even the girl wasn't too bad and was on the right track for her age.

"Hiruzen.. about your eldest Kiyoshi, he'll also participate too right? having someone younger than him and almost the same skill level as someone like Kiyoshi with as much resources and talent as he has, I'm sure he'll show off that talent and skill that your family possesses." Referencing to Sasuke Sarutobi one of the greatest shinobi in the warring era and him the god of shinobi of now.

"Hmm, as he should.. I have high expectations for Kiyoshi and he himself knows he has huge shoes to fill. I won't let my family's legacy go to waste. He has countless resources, me and you as mentors, access to many jutsus, a personalized workout regimen and more. Not to mention, I passed down what Hashirama and Tobirama sensei passed down to us onto him. There's no way he shouldn't be better than the competition here."

And he was right, a child with that much guidance and everything ninja related handed down to him should take advantage of what he has and never feel complacent, maybe that's what he'll learn today. That there's always someone ahead and sometimes even younger than you and complacence will get you murdered and your body defiled to the point of unrecognition. It happened to our MC's father and to add insult upon injury, the second Raikage's son allowed the defiled corpse to be brought back.
