Chapter 63: Shock Orochimaru! News From Uchiha Itachi And Akatsuki Organization

Sasuke's eyes narrowed, his body primed, a flash of electricity racing over his skin as he lunged forward. When he was more than ten meters away from Orochimaru, he swung the Kusanagi sword, and a lightning spear shot out from its tip.

Orochimaru's pupils contracted as he dodged, the lightning spear narrowly missing his neck, causing a trickle of blood to drop.

With an ugly expression, Orochimaru touched his neck, realizing that if he hadn't reacted swiftly, he would have been struck down instantly.

As Sasuke continued his assault with the lightning spear, Orochimaru leaped up, avoiding the attacks. "This technique is very much like Hatake Kakashi's Chidori. He's your Jonin guide—did you improve it from that? You don't even need a seal. Not bad."

The trees around them were sliced apart by the sharp Chidori spear as Sasuke and Orochimaru sped through the forest, leaving a blur of afterimages and the streaks of lightning behind them.

Sasuke exhaled, his excitement growing. As expected of a Sannin! His previous speed would have posed a challenge even for Kakashi-sensei. But Orochimaru was matching him. A formidable opponent indeed!

When Sasuke noticed the light from the Chidori spear waning, he put it away and channeled Chakra into his arms and fists, then struck at Orochimaru with full force.

The two thunderous spears of lightning bore down on Orochimaru, who knew Earth Style would not suffice for defense.

Biting his finger and speeding through hand seals, he slammed his hands on the ground, "Summoning: Rashomon!"

A colossal gate with a grimacing face rose from the earth. The lightning spears hit Rashomon, penetrating its powerful defenses, yet in that moment, Orochimaru managed to escape.

Uzumaki Naruto exclaimed, "It's such a fast fight; my eyes can't keep up!"

Uchiha Sasuke cursed, "Damn! That Orochimaru guy didn't take it seriously when he fought me!"

Nara Shikamaru observed, "If Orochimaru had really gotten serious, Sasuke, you wouldn't be standing here now."

Hyuga Neji acknowledged, "Uchiha Sasuke over there, capable of matching the legendary Sannin!"

Tenten wondered, "He hit Neji and Lee before, was he just joking around?"
