Chapter 23: Kakashi Almost Overturned

"Uchiha throwing technique... not bad," Kakashi conceded.

Yet, Kakashi still did not seem concerned and simply put away the book he was holding.

Brandishing a kunai, he quickly batted away the incoming shuriken one by one.

"No, they're attached to steel wires!" Kakashi realized with widened eyes.

The shuriken he had deflected were connected by barely visible steel wires that were now threatening to ensnare him.

"He's not an ordinary Genin," Kakashi acknowledged.

He infused his kunai with Wind Style Chakra, attempting to sever the steel wires.

But at that moment, Sasuke's chest swelled, and he expelled a surge of hot Chakra.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!" Sasuke declared.

Kakashi's eyes widened instantly.

Ninjutsu of that caliber?

With a loud boom, the tremendous Great Fireball, almost in an instant, swiftly engulfed Kakashi.
