25 Quirk Fusion and Kurogiri's Evolution

In the midst of a changing Ninja World, where the new Land of Shigaraki and Shigaraki Village were taking center stage, Kurogiri delved into the process of absorbing chakra to create more quirks. With these new quirks in hand, his plan was to fuse similar ones together using quirk synthesis for a more explosive effect. Kurogiri had already shared his intentions with those required for execution, allowing him to solely focus on quirk creation and synthesis.

After carefully evaluating the quirks at his disposal, Kurogiri concluded that the polygraph quirk was no longer necessary alongside the persuasive manipulation quirk. Directing his attention inward, he activated the quirk destruction quirk, eliminating the polygraph quirk from his repertoire.

Determined to optimize himself and his quirks, Kurogiri had come to the realization that he could not tap into more than twenty-five percent of One for All. Though he had once believed he possessed the ability to utilize the quirk to its fullest extent, thanks to his super regeneration ability to heal any overuse, the introduction of High Spec made him aware of his subconscious limitation.

Previous human instincts to avoid pain had restricted him to just a mere quarter of One for All. Realizing the potential that lay within, Kurogiri understood the necessity of unlocking his full capabilities, especially in light of what he had been informed about tail beasts. With High Spec and a pain blocker now in play, he could truly harness the power of One for All.

Returning his focus to quirk creation, Kurogiri decided to develop the quirk Overclock. This quirk, capable of accelerating brain processing speed and enhancing bodily responses, would fuse together with High Spec, creating a formidable combination.

As Kurogiri continued absorbing chakra into his expansive spiritual space, its size had grown significantly, enabling him to handle the substantial chakra requirements of the quirk creation process. After successfully developing the Overclock quirk, it was seamlessly fused with High Spec, resulting in a brand new quirk called the Velocity Mind Quirk, as deemed by Kurogiri.

This extraordinary ability combined the heightened intelligence of High Spec with the unrivaled speed and perception of Overclock. Even in its passive state, the Velocity Mind Quirk elevated Kurogiri's processing speed, making him unparalleled in terms of intelligence when activated. With this newfound mental prowess, he found it much easier to conceive potential quirk combinations.

Determined to achieve another remarkable success, Kurogiri focused on creating the double quirk, allowing him to make duplicates of individuals whose measurements he possessed. Despite his awareness that he would not utilize this quirk due to the sentience of the duplicates, he proceeded with its creation.

Employing Quirk Synthesis, Kurogiri fused the Queen Bee quirk with clone and double, resulting in the formation of Swarm Echo. This evolved quirk granted Kurogiri the ability to generate clones, manipulate a swarm of bee/wasp-like creatures, and duplicate himself. All these abilities worked in perfect unison through a hive mind connection.

Not only did this enhancement ensure that none of his duplicates would go rogue, but the strengthened hive mind connection, coupled with Kurogiri's increased processing speed, further amplified their collective power. Additionally, Swarm Echo allowed him to duplicate his swarm, effectively multiplying its numbers by fostering cooperation between the duplicates and clones.

The fusion process took longer depending on the strength and number of quirks involved, but even with his enhanced brain, Kurogiri's ability to create quirks remained unhindered. He dedicated all his focus to absorbing chakra, creating and fusing quirks, and strengthening his own body. Unbeknownst to Kurogiri, time was slipping away swiftly, and the newfound Shigaraki Village had gained significant notoriety since its announcement three month prior.

In the heart of the village, Orochimaru occupied the main office building, reviewing the numerous letters received from his subordinates delivering for various villages. However, his true interest lay solely in the evolution of his master, Kurogiri. Eager to learn more, Orochimaru would patiently await his master's return, fulfilling his own role in the plan.

Understanding Kurogiri's desire for an undisturbed village environment, Orochimaru dutifully responded to all the letters, expressing no interest in interfering with other villages and emphasizing a singular focus on the growth of their own community. Only a letter addressed to Danzo received a different response, stating that all communications and previous agreements were now null and void.

As three more months passed, the Shigaraki village's reputation continued to soar. Their powerful and dedicated ninja elevated them to the status of the strongest non-major village. During this time, Kurogiri focused on his quirk synthesis, creating several air-related quirks with the goal of fusing them into a universal air quirk.

Amongst the quirks he developed were Air Walk, which granted the ability to walk on air; Air Cannon, enabling the release of pressurized air from the hands; Air Wall, allowing the creation of an air barrier; Solid Air, which solidified air constructs through breath; and Gale Gale, which manipulated winds and fused with his existing Whirlwind quirk. The culmination of these quirks formed the Elemental Tempest Quirk, granting Kurogiri versatile and powerful control over the element of air. Though it took three months for the fusion process, the results were undoubtedly worth the wait.

Deciding to continue with the trend of elemental quirks, Kurogiri then turned his attention to creations centered around electricity. He developed Amplivolt, which allowed him to conduct and amplify electricity; Electricity Generation, enabling the production and manipulation of electricity; Electric Charge, granting the ability to harvest and manipulate electric currents; Electrification, which charged him with electricity and emitted a protective aura; and Electromagnetic Bullets, generating an electromagnetic field to shoot objects with great force. Fusing these quirks formed the Volt Dynamo Quirk, empowering Kurogiri with electrifying force, mastery over electricity, and the ability to control electromagnetism for both offense and defense.

Following the same pattern, Kurogiri focused on fire and ice, sensing an opportunity to fuse other fire and ice-based abilities with his Half Hot Half Cold Quirk. Taking a month and a half, he created and fused Frost, allowing manipulation and production of ice around his body; Ice Ply, providing freedom to manipulate existing ice and its temperature; Blueflame, granting production and manipulation of blue flames that burn at over two thousand degrees Celsius; and Hellflame, with the power to produce and manipulate red-hot flames surpassing a thousand degrees Celsius. The resulting fusion quirk, named FrostFire, bestowed Kurogiri with mastery over both fire and ice. He could seamlessly switch between the two elements and unleash a wide range of devastating attacks, even combining them into a new ice flame.

With his spiritual reserves refilled after absorbing chakra, Kurogiri dedicated his time to quirk creation and fusion, determined to dominate this world before seeking a real challenge. In just a week, he developed Water Control, granting manipulation and control over existing water, as well as Water Gun, enabling the shooting of powerful water streams from his hands. These abilities culminated in the Aquaflow Quirk, offering Kurogiri production, control, and manipulation of water.

Satisfied with the Earth Flow quirk as it was, Kurogiri then moved on to another set of quirks to fuse. He created and fused Scales, allowing him to form hard scales throughout his body and fire them; Shield, manifesting stone-like, hexagonal shields for defense; and Steel, enabling his skin to take on a steel-like substance. The resulting fusion, named Shielded Scales Quirk, combined the defensive properties of the Shield and Steel quirks with the offensive capabilities of the Scales quirk. Kurogiri could now manifest reinforced stone shields from his body, providing enhanced protection against physical and chakra-based attacks. The fusion process for this quirk took two weeks, but the results, as predicted, were worth Kurogiri's patience.

The next quirk combination consists of only two quirks, but their synergy is so perfect that the fusion still required a month of focus and effort. Kurogiri created the Food Quirk, granting him the ability to eat and digest anything that can fit in his mouth, and the Manifest Quirk, allowing him to acquire the characteristics of whatever he digests. The resulting fusion was named the Infinite Palate Quirk, bestowing Kurogiri with the power to eat and manifest the characteristics of everything he consumes.

Moving on to vision-based quirks, Kurogiri aimed to enhance his existing detection quirk. He developed Zoom, enabling him to see up to five kilometers away with precision; Voyance, granting the sight to see through nonliving objects; and Erasure, capable of nullifying quirks or chakra usage outside of one's body. These newfound abilities were fused with his detection quirk, resulting in the Ethereal Vision Quirk. This fusion successfully combined all the abilities into one, granting Kurogiri a powerful all-seeing eyes with a range of five kilometers. The fusion process for this quirk took three months to fully take hold in his eyes.

Throughout his journey, Kurogiri discovered the immense usefulness of his High Spec and Pain Blocker abilities, allowing him to maintain focus and remain unharmed while residing underneath the village for a year. Returning his attention to the creation and fusion process, Kurogiri replenished his chakra spiritual space for over a week. Now with his reserves fully restored, he dedicated the next six months to creating one of his most valuable quirks yet.

He developed a Stockpiling Quirk, enabling him to store excess chakra within his body; Energy Drain, allowing him to siphon the chakra of others through physical contact; Shock Absorption, enabling him to absorb the impact of physical blows; Reflect, granting the ability to replicate and recreate any attack that strikes him, even absorbing multiple attacks and releasing them simultaneously; and Energy Saver and Endurance, existing quirks that complemented this fusion.

The resulting quirk was named Chakra Resonator, merging the abilities to convert mobility and morale into chakra and stamina, stockpile chakra, drain chakra from others, optimize chakra consumption, absorb shocks, and reflect chakra. Kurogiri became a resilient and versatile force, capable of efficiently absorbing, manipulating, and amplifying chakra.

With only three major breakthroughs left to accomplish, Kurogiri wasted no time and immediately shifted his focus towards creating new quirks for one of the final three fusions. Composing Fierce Gains, which enhances muscle hardness, strength, and resistance; Body Bulk, enabling him to grow three to five times his size; Bruiser, storing power in a single limb for stronger attacks; Muscle Augmentation, amplifying and manipulating muscle layers for enhanced strength, speed, and durability; Muscle Expansion, granting significant increases in physical strength; Springlike Limbs, storing and releasing force like a coiled spring; Strongarm, rotating and moving shoulders at extreme speed for powerful punches; and Transforming Arms, shapeshifting arms for long-ranged elastic attacks and simultaneous multiple strikes—they all merged together into one quirk.

After nine months of creating and fusing, Kurogiri named the new quirk "Titanic," bestowing formidable combinations of strength, durability, speed, versatile arm manipulation, and powerful striking capabilities. In close combat situations, Kurogiri would be an unstoppable force, devastating opponents with a wide range of techniques.

Satisfied with the results of the Titanic quirk, Kurogiri remained focused and promptly moved onto the second-to-last step: fusing all the newly created quirks with All for One, making them easier to control. The process required three months to unite all the newly developed quirks under All for One. However, without taking a break, Kurogiri proceeded to the final step.

The final step involved fusing all the existing quirks with One for All, granting a significant increase in power to each one. Unfortunately, when connecting the Velocity Mind Quirk to One for All, an unexpected surge occurred. Kurogiri's eyes rolled back as his body underwent rapid evolution. The intense interaction between the high-velocity mind and One for All triggered a powerful surge in his brain, ultimately causing him to slip into a coma while his body underwent changes.

When Kurogiri awakens, the Ninja World will witness another transformative change. No longer held back by an underdeveloped body, Kurogiri will become an unstoppable force. The total time elapsed since the creation and fusion process began will be a little over two years, and the final evolution will take an additional full year.
